‘Cold Storage’ quest walkthrough in Arc Raiders
The “Cold Storage” quest begins after receiving coordinates from J Kozma Ventures, directing you to a frozen container facility on the outskirts of the Dune Sea. Fight through patrol units guarding the entrance, then use a power relay found near the broken generator to activate the internal systems. Inside, locate the marked cargo container in the lower storage bay containing encrypted schematics. Scan the container to complete the objective, but be prepared for an ambush triggered once the scan finishes. Returning the data to the Kozma outpost finalizes the quest and grants valuable tech components as rewards.
This quest only has two steps, but that doesn’t mean it’s easy. As mentioned, Stella Montis is the most dangerous map in the game at the time of writing, so as soon as you get the item you need, we’d recommend putting it in your safe pocket.
Where to find a J Kozma Ventures container on Stella Montis
There are multiple J Kozma Ventures containers on Stella Montis, but the easiest one to get to in our experience is on the second floor of Loading Bay. In the southwest corner of Cargo Dock A in the Loading Bay, you can find a white container marked with the J Kozma Ventures logo, amidst a bunch of blue Su Durante containers.
Go to the rear of the container and you’ll be able to search it, to find some old books. Stick them in your inventory – safe pocket, preferably – and you can get out of there. As long as it’s still open, there’s a route down to a train station right below you. Watch out for fall damage and the Shredder that likes to patrol that staircase though.
Return the books to Shani in Speranza and you’ll receive three gas mines and a raider hatch key for your trouble. Not too bad.

For a fast, safe Cold Storage run in Arc Raiders, pick a minimal, high-mobility loadout so you can dash to the container and extract without drawing a big fight.

Once there, the J Kozma Ventures container is the white one stacked near blue containers, right next to the metro exfil platform.

Interact with it to grab the Old World Books, then walk a few steps to the exfil button and call the train.

Return to Shani in Speranza to turn in the books and finish the quest.
