How to complete Week 1 quests in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 Week 1 quests focused on exploration, vehicle use, and combat basics, each granting 12,000 XP except the capstone. These were straightforward and completable in a few matches by landing strategically.โ€‹

Visit Breakwater Bay, Anvil Square, and Shattered Slabs (3)

Land at or travel to each named POI once-Breakwater Bay (southeast coast), Anvil Square (central medieval area), and Shattered Slabs (rocky ruins northwest). Fly directly between them in one match if possible, or split across games; progress tracks cumulatively.

Destroy Objects While Drifting/Boosting in Nitro Drifter (25)

Spawn a Nitro Drifter vehicle (bright blue muscle car, common at garages or roads), then boost or drift (hold boost while turning sharply) into destructible objects like trees, signs, or structures. Aim for clustered items near roads; one good drift lap can net 10+.โ€‹

Land at MEGA City and Reach Top 25 (2)

Drop at MEGA City (central futuristic city), survive to the top 25 twice-play conservatively, loot quickly, and rotate early using grind rails or vehicles. Avoid hot drops initially if solo.

Damage Opponents with 3 Different Weapon Types in a Single Match (3)

In one match, hit enemies with assault rifles, SMGs, and shotguns (or any three categories like pistols, snipers). Grab a variety from chests/high stacks early and engage mid-game.โ€‹

Get Air Time on Rogue Bike (15)

Ride the Rogue Bike (motorcycle at vehicle spawns), hit ramps, cliffs, or jumps for air time totaling 15 seconds. Chain jumps at spots like Shattered Slabs or coastal dunes for efficiency.โ€‹

Best landing spots for Week 1 quests

Best landing spots for Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 Week 1 quests target MEGA City for survival challenges and the named POIs for quick visits, prioritizing areas with vehicles and loot to chain progress efficiently.

MEGA City (Top Priority)

Land centrally at MEGA City to complete both “Land at MEGA City and reach top 25 (2)” and parts of exploration quests.
Grab loot from high-rises and grind rails for fast rotations; Rogue Bikes often spawn nearby for air time (15s total).
Conservative play-loot edges, avoid center fights-helps hit top 25 twice easily.

Breakwater Bay

Drop southeast coast for “Visit Breakwater Bay, Anvil Square, and Shattered Slabs (3)”.
Beach garages spawn Nitro Drifters for “Destroy objects while drifting/boosting (25)”; drift into dunes or signs.
Low contest early, quick vehicle access to chain visits.โ€‹

Anvil Square

Central medieval POI for the visit quest trio.
Inner yards have destructible crates/stalls for Nitro Drifter drifts if no vehicle nearby.
Link to MEGA City via roads for multi-quest efficiency.

Shattered Slabs

Northwest rocky ruins POI for visits.
Ramps and cliffs perfect for Rogue Bike air time; spawn common here.
Windmills/jumps help rack up seconds mid-air while rotating out.โ€‹
