How to evolve Spritzee into Aromatisse in Pokémon Legends: Z-A
To evolve Spritzee into Aromatisse in Pokémon Legends: Z-A, you first need to befriend Spritzee by increasing its affection through battles and interactions. Once its affection is high enough, give Spritzee the item known as the Sachet. After holding the Sachet for some time, Spritzee will evolve into Aromatisse, completing its evolution process.
Spritzee evolves at any level, but it needs to be traded while holding a Sachet, which you can get by completing Side Mission 10 (“Skiddo’s Fragrant Leaves”), which is unlocked after completing Main Mission 7 and found near the clothing shops on Vernal Avenue.
After you complete the side mission, you’ll receive two Sachets, allowing you to evolve two Spritzee.
Alternatively, you can get a Sachet as a reward by completing matches in the Infinite Royale, but your odds are fairly low and you’ll need to reach the credits to even start the challenge.
Once you get a Sachet, give it to your Spritzee and you’ll be ready to evolve it into an Aromatisse!
Unfortunately, this does mean that you’ll need either a Nintendo Switch Online membership or a local trainer who also has Pokémon Legends: Z-A.
To trade your Spritzee, follow these steps:
- Press X to open your menu.
- Select the “Link Play” option.
- Select the “Link Trade” option.
- Choose “Nearby Players” if you’re trading locally or “Faraway Players” if you’re trading via the internet.
- Enter an 8-digit Link Code to connect to your trade recipient.
- Select your Spritzee and send it off for a trade.
Provided that your Spritzee was indeed holding a Sachet, it’ll evolve right away once it’s in the hands of your trade partner. If you want your original Pokémon, your trading partner will have to trade it back, though.
If you don’t have anyone to trade with, you can use the trade code “0096 0096,” which will match you up with other players who are looking to evolve their Spritzee. Note that before you trade with strangers, you should make sure that their offered Spritzee is holding a Sachet, too. You can do this by pressing R when it prompts you to trade.
I would also personally not recommend trading an alpha or shiny Spritzee to a stranger – there’s a pretty high chance that they’ll run off with their new rare friend. In that case, it’s probably best to try to find somebody who can reliably trade your precious Pokémon back to you.
Where to find Sachet in Pokémon Legends: Z-A
The main way to get a Sachet in Pokémon Legends: Z-A is by completing Side Mission 10, called “Skiddo’s Fragrant Leaves.” This side quest becomes available after you reach Main Mission 7.
