Heartopia Guide Get More Home Plots Expand Area Tips

Guides

Owning more than one home in Heartopia isn’t just a dream-it’s a strategic move that expands your freedom, creativity, and in-game influence. Here’s how to claim additional plots and make the most of every corner you call your own.

How to unlock more home plots in Heartopia

To gain additional home plots in Heartopia beyond the initial two, players advance through D.G. Member’s Guild ranks by fulfilling daily Resident Requests, which award Contribution Medals. The first expansion to four plots becomes available at rank 4 after roughly three to four days of completing five requests daily, followed by spending 500-1,000 gold per new plot in Edit Mode or the guild app’s plot tab. Further plots up to a maximum of eight open at higher ranks like 14, with adjacent selections recommended for optimal layouts around the original property.

To have more house plots to build on in Heartopia, you must first unlock them and then pay some gold to use them.

The only way to unlock new home plots involves yourD.G. Member level. In Heartopia, as you complete daily requests, you earn Contribution Medals, which you use to unlock new D.G. Member levels in the D.G. Member’s Guild app in the Watch menu.

Since there is a daily request limit, you will have to wait to obtain enough Contribution Metals to reach max D.G. Member level. But once you have enough to rank up, go to the D.G. Member’s Guild app and press the “Unlock” button in the bottom-right corner to claim the rewards.

Here are the early levels you must hit to unlock extra home plots:

  • Level 4: unlocks two home plots
  • Level 6: unlocks one home plot
  • Level 8: unlocks one home plot
  • Level 11: unlocks one home plot

To truly unlock the home plots and start building on them, you must access the D.G. Member’s Guild app in the Watch menu and press the four-square icon in the top-right corner of the screen to access the Plot Management screen. If playing on Windows PC, you can access it by pressing E on the keyboard.

On this screen, you can see the number of plots you have unlocked, their size, the type of items that can be placed on them, and their requirements. If you can unlock a plot, its lock will be shaking and, by clicking on it, you can choose to pay a certain amount of gold to unlock it. For example, the first plot costs 100 gold, while the next one costs 4,000.

Which D.G. Member levels unlock additional plots and when

Additional home plots are tied directly to specific D.G. Member levels, and each milestone increases how many plots you can own around your house.

Exact unlock levels

From the current guides and reward tables, the plot milestones are:

  • D.G. Member Level 4 – Unlocks two additional home plots (plots 3 and 4), for a total of 4 plots.

  • D.G. Member Level 6 – Unlocks one more plot (plot 5), for a total of 5 plots.

  • D.G. Member Level 8 – Unlocks one more plot (plot 6), for a total of 6 plots.

  • D.G. Member Level 11 – Unlocks one more plot (plot 7), for a total of 7 plots.

  • D.G. Member Level 14 – Unlocks one more plot (plot 8), bringing you to 8 total plots.

You start with 2 plots by default, so hitting these levels step-by-step is how you reach the current maximum of 8 plots.

When you can buy them

  • The new plots become available immediately when you reach each listed D.G. level, but you still have to pay gold for each plot in the plots menu.

  • “Available” plots are shown with a shaking/animated lock in the D.G. Member’s Guild plot interface; once you see that, you can buy and place on that land.

What are the gold costs for each plot at those levels

The exact gold prices per plot are not fully standardized in the current info, but early guides and UI captures show a clear pattern: each newly unlocked plot costs more gold than the previous one, with relatively cheap early plots and significantly pricier later ones.

What is known for sure

  • You must both (1) reach the required D.G. Member level and (2) pay a gold fee for each new plot you actually unlock.

  • The first extra plot you buy after hitting the initial unlock level is relatively cheap (reported around 100 gold in early-game examples).

  • Later plots jump sharply in price, with at least one guide mentioning a later plot costing around 4,000 gold, showing that each new plot becomes a significant gold sink.

How the costs behave by level

None of the reliable guides publish a complete, official per-plot cost table that lists “Level X → Plot Y = Z gold,” but they agree on these points:

  • Level 4, 6, 8, 11, and 14 are the key D.G. levels where new plots become available, not where you automatically get them for free.

  • At each of those levels, the newly available plots show up in the plot interface with a gold price that is higher than the plots you have previously unlocked.

Because the exact numeric price for each individual plot is not consistently documented, the safest way to see the precise gold cost for your next plot is:

  1. Open your Watch → D.G. Member app → plots menu (four-square icon).

  2. Hover or select each locked plot; the UI will show its current gold price, which reflects any tuning from recent patches.

If you want, share a screenshot of your plot screen and D.G. level and the current visible prices can be interpreted and broken down for planning.
