RoboCop Rogue City Steel Mill Secret PCB Location Guide

Guides

Looking to supercharge RoboCop’s iconic Auto-9? Deep within the Steel Mill’s labyrinthine corridors lies a secret PCB upgrade-hidden behind a crashed train and a series of easy-to-miss steps. Only those with sharp eyes (or the right Engineering skills) will unlock this powerful circuit board and claim the elusive “Good Eyes, Murphy!” achievement. Here’s how to find the Steel Mill’s best-kept secret before the Vultures catch on.

Good eyes, Murphy!” is an early game achievement/trophy in RoboCop: Rogue City, tasking you with finding a PCB for the Auto-9 in a secret area of the Steel Mill. Finding that area is the closest thing RoboCop: Rogue City has to a real puzzle, but it’s worth tracking down, because you’ll earn the Omni Board – Tier 4.2 motherboard for doing so. Here’s where to find the secret PCB in the Steel Mill in RoboCop: Rogue City.

Where to find the secret PCD in the Steel Mill in RoboCop: Rogue City

To find the secret PCB in the Steel Mill in RoboCop: Rogue City, progress through the mission until you reach the quarry area in the northern part of the map, near the “Unwanted Goods” side quest. Look for a yellow train engine in the trainyard on the right side. You can activate the train by either having 3 points in the Engineering skill or by scanning a nearby Train Engineer Manual, which lets you bypass the skill requirement. Once activated, the train will crash through barriers, creating a new path. Follow the train to its final stop, climb the ladder on its side, and cross the metal bridge to a small room above. Inside, you’ll find an OCP chest containing the powerful secret PCB upgrade, unlocking the “Good Eyes, Murphy!” achievement or trophy.

Since RoboCop: Rogue City is chapter-based and some areas are locked out to you after you complete certain story missions, certain trophies and achievements can also be easily missed. Fortunately, Rogue City autosaves a lot, including at the beginning of chapters, so you can oftentimes reload a save to grab anything you missed – including the hidden PCB upgrade in the Steel Mill.

To find the Steel Mill’s hidden PCB upgrade, you’ll need to work your way deep into the level and past the area where you first encounter landmines. You’ll need to locate this train car at the location on the map below.

On the right side of that train car, you’ll see a button prompt that says “Start the engine.” The locomotive will switch on and travel in reverse, driving through two sets of doors.

Follow the locomotive to its final destination, a stop in Block B.

On the left-hand side of the locomotive, you’ll find a ladder. Climb that ladder and step onto the top of the train car. This will give RoboCop access to a platform with a small, raised room.

Inside that room, you’ll find an OCP Chest, which contains the Omni Board – Tier 4.2 motherboard and will unlock the “Good eyes, Murphy!” trophy/achievement. Here’s the location of the hidden chest and its location on the game map:

Where exactly is the hidden PCB located in the Steel Mill secret area in RoboCop Rogue City

The hidden PCB in the Steel Mill secret area of RoboCop: Rogue City is located behind a crashed train in the quarry section of the map. After completing the initial objectives and gaining access to the quarry in the north, look for a train in the right-hand corner. You need to activate this train-either by using RoboCop’s Engineering skill or by finding a nearby training manual that allows you to short-circuit the controls. Once the train crashes through the barriers in the bottom right corner, climb the ladder on its side to reach a raised platform. There, you’ll find a chest containing the secret PCB upgrade for your Auto-9.

Is the hidden PCB located near the ladder on the train or inside the secret room

The hidden PCB in the Steel Mill is located near the ladder on the train, not inside a separate secret room. After activating the train and having it crash through the barriers, you need to climb the ladder on the side of the train to reach a raised platform. There, you’ll find a chest containing the PCB upgrade. This chest is directly accessible after climbing the ladder and is not inside a further secret room.
