This ultimate guide covers every suit, their unlock methods, and customization options across PC and PlayStation versions, ensuring you suit up for every adventure.

In this Spider-Man 2 guide, we’ve listed out all suits in Spider-Man 2 for Peter Parker and Miles Morales (as well as images, so you can see how cool they look before you earn them). We’ve also detailed how to unlock all of these suits, how much each suit costs, and whether or not these suits have additional styles for you to acquire.

[Spoiler warning: While this guide doesn’t include any strict narrative spoilers, you may be able to glean plot twists by looking at suits or even reading their names.]

How to unlock all suits in Spider-Man 2

To unlock all suits in Spider-Man 2, you need to progress through the main story and complete various side missions to earn materials like Tech Parts, City Tokens, Rare Tech Parts, and Hero Tokens, which are required to craft the suits. Some suits unlock automatically as you advance in the story, while others require reaching specific levels or completing particular challenges such as clearing Symbiote Nests, finishing side quests, or completing Hunter Bases. After completing the mission “Suit Is Sandy,” the Suits tab unlocks in the pause menu, allowing you to craft and switch between suits for both Peter Parker and Miles Morales. Many suits also have alternate styles that can be crafted using additional materials. Overall, unlocking all suits involves a mix of story progression, leveling up, and completing side content to gather the necessary crafting resources.

Unlike in Spider-Man 2’s predecessor – 2018’s Spider-Mansuits in Spider-Man 2 are purely cosmetic. There are also suit styles, which offer different colorways of suits for a fee (of in-game currency). Most suits have these styles, though some (typically those based on movies) do not.

You unlock most suits by reaching a certain overall Spider-Man level in the game, but you’ll still have to pay for the ones you want to fully unlock with in-game currency like Tech Parts or the much rarer Hero Tokens.

Unlocking every suit this way will net you the Kitted Out trophy/achievement, though it’s worth mentioning that you only need to purchase all base suits for the trophy, and don’t need to own any styles.

There are also Deluxe Edition suits – listed at the end of this guide – which require purchase of that edition of the game, or the corresponding DLC, and don’t contribute to the Kitted Out trophy’s requirements.

Here are all suits in Spider-Man 2. We’ve listed these in the order you’ll unlock them in the game, with the exception being story and side quest-based unlocks, which we’ve placed at the end.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 offers an extensive collection of suits for both Peter Parker and Miles Morales, totaling 68 in the base game, with additional suits available through the Digital Deluxe Edition and DLC, bringing the total to 90. Players unlock most suits by progressing through the story, reaching certain character levels, or completing specific missions and side activities. Each suit often comes with multiple color variations called Styles, which require crafting using materials like Tech Parts, City Tokens, Rare Tech Parts, and Hero Tokens earned throughout gameplay. The Suits tab unlocks after a key story mission, allowing players to craft and customize their favorite outfits, enhancing both aesthetics and gameplay experience across PC and PlayStation platforms.

Which Spider-Man 2 suits are the rarest and hardest to unlock

The rarest and hardest Spider-Man 2 suits to unlock are those requiring the highest levels, the most tech parts, rare tech parts, and city or hero tokens, as well as completion of specific in-game challenges. Notably:

  • The Classic Black Suit unlocks at level 50 and demands 100 Tech Parts and 2 Rare Tech Parts, plus 65 Tech Parts and 2 City Tokens for styles, making it one of the most resource-intensive suits.

  • The Iron Spider Suit, available at level 54, requires 110 Tech Parts and 3 Rare Tech Parts, marking it as another demanding unlock.

  • The Stealth Suit at level 46 requires 95 Tech Parts and 6 City Tokens, a high cost in both parts and tokens.

  • The Smoke and Mirrors Suit, inspired by Mysterio, is rare due to its unlock condition-completing all Mysteriums-making it a challenge-based unlock rather than purely resource-based.

  • The Boricua Suit is also rare, unlocked only by completing all ’Brooklyn Visions’ missions, adding a significant gameplay challenge.

These suits stand out for their combination of high-level requirements, rare materials, and challenge completions, making them the rarest and hardest to obtain in Spider-Man 2.

Which suits are considered the rarest and most challenging to unlock in Spider-Man 2

The rarest and most challenging suits to unlock in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 are typically those with the highest level requirements and steep crafting costs involving large amounts of Tech Parts, Rare Tech Parts, City Tokens, and Hero Tokens. Key examples include:

  • Classic Black Suit: Unlocks at level 50, requiring 100 Tech Parts and 2 Rare Tech Parts, plus 65 Tech Parts and 2 City Tokens for styles, making it one of the most resource-intensive suits to craft.

  • Iron Spider Suit: Available at level 54, it demands 110 Tech Parts and 3 Rare Tech Parts, reflecting its high rarity and difficulty to obtain.

  • Dark Ages Suit: Requires level 56, 110 Tech Parts, and 3 Hero Tokens, with additional costs for styles, marking it as a late-game, challenging unlock.

  • New Red and Blue Suit: Unlocks at level 58 with 115 Tech Parts and 3 Rare Tech Parts, placing it among the hardest suits to craft.

  • Black and Gold Suit: The highest level requirement at 60, needing 115 Tech Parts and 3 Rare Tech Parts, making it extremely rare and difficult to unlock.

Additionally, some suits are tied to completing specific in-game challenges rather than just resource gathering:

  • Smoke and Mirrors Suit: Inspired by Mysterio, this suit requires completing all Mysteriums, making it a challenge-based rare unlock.

  • Last Hunt Suit: Earned after completing all Hunter Bases, adding a significant gameplay challenge to its acquisition.

  • Saving Lives Suit: Unlocked by finishing all The Flame missions, further emphasizing challenge-based rarity.

These suits stand out for their combination of high-level unlocks, expensive crafting requirements, and unique challenge conditions, making them the rarest and most difficult to obtain in Spider-Man 2.
