The update features four major new points of interest (POIs): Crime City, Outlaw Oasis, Shiny Shafts, and Lonewolf Lair, replacing older locations like Warrior’s Watch and Lost Lake. Crime City offers a dense urban environment reminiscent of past cityscape POIs, while Shiny Shafts serves as a mining area rich in gold veins. Lonewolf Lair is the mansion of the season’s main antagonist, Fletcher Kane, and Outlaw Oasis acts as a luxurious hideout for the heist crew. The map also includes returning locations such as Seaport City and Shining Span, with added gameplay elements like armored transport convoys and heists that enhance the high-stakes action of the season.

With Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2 being called “Lawless,” there are three new heists for you to tackle:

  • Bank Vaults: Break into one of four vaults using thermite, the plasma burst laser, or the rocket drill.
  • Armored Transport Convoys: Hunt down Fletcher Kane’s convoy to gain valuable items, and, if you can get control of the steering wheel, a new ride.
  • Trains: Hop onto the train and take on Fletcher’s crew to crack open the vault car.

After a successful heist, you’ll receive a lot of bars that can be spent at one of three black markets around the map. At the black market, you can purchase mythic and legendary items to improve your arsenal and boons to strengthen your character.

Additionally, there are two new medallionsfor you to acquire. The new mob boss, Fletcher Kane, will drop the Unstoppable Medallion, allowing you to sprint faster and bash enemies while sprinting. Shogun X is sticking around, but now drops the Super Shield Medallion. This medallion places a Shield Bubble Jr. when you use a self-healing item like a med kit or shield potion.
