Where to find Tri’s friends in Stilled Lake Hylia

In Stilled Lake Hylia, Tri’s friends are found in three distinct groups within the rift. The first group is submerged in the water to the west, near the entrance, surrounded by Dark Tanglers. The second group is hidden underwater behind a boulder in the northeast section, accessible by using Echoes to climb and dive. The third group is located in a secluded pond area in the northwest, inside a cave blocked by a boulder that can be moved with Tri’s Bind ability. Rescuing all three groups allows you to repair the rift and earn rewards from Tri.

Stilled Lake Hylia consists of a lot of platforming via swimming, as you’ll have to move between self-contained cubes of water floating in the air.

When you first arrive, start heading left through the water platforms, stopping short of the platform that’s a pool of shadow piranha. We used octoroks from a distance combined with Swordfighter form in melee range to clear them out. When they’re dealt with, swim to the bottom to grab the first ofTri’s friends.

Once collected, head north to the longer water platform, then take the first right available. Dive under the rocks then swim up to reach a higher-level platform.

Once you hop to dry land, you’ll see a platform that’s too high for Zelda to reach. Plus there’s a moblin chucking spears from a platform to your right that will thwart any attempts to climb up before its defeated. Use Bind to snag the moblin and drop it off the platform, then use trampolines, boxes, and beds to reach the water platform up and to the right.

You’ll see a boulder blocking something in the wall beneath the water. Use Bind to pull the boulder out of the way. You’ll find the second of Tri’s friends behind the rock.

Return to the long, vertical strip of water, and swim up until you can take a left. You’ll be in a large water area. Swim all the way to the rock wall at the top, and follow it left until you see a group of four trees. Zelda can swim under that island to an isolated corner, and another boulder to move. Use Bind to pull the boulder away, dragging it back under the secret entrance. Voila! It’s the third Tri friend. Tri will then be able to heal the rift in Lake Hylia and return Zelda to the real world.

How can I uncover all of Tri’s friends hidden in Stilled Lake Hylia

To uncover all of Tri’s friends hidden in Stilled Lake Hylia in Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, follow these steps:

  1. First group: Upon entering the rift, swim to the left (west) underwater, where you will find the first group of Tri’s friends surrounded by Dark Tanglers. Use Echoes that can fight in water, like Tangler Echo, or use Bind to pull enemies out of the water and clear the area to rescue them.

  2. Second group: Head to the northeast portion of the area by using Echoes such as Old Bed Echoes and Trampoline Echo to reach the floating islands. Locate a boulder underwater behind which Tri’s friends are trapped. Use Bind to pull the boulder away and free the second group.

  3. Third group: Go to the northwest part of the Still World, where there is a large pond with boulders at the bottom. Swim through a hidden tunnel on the northwest corner, dive underwater, and use Bind to move a boulder blocking a secluded area. This reveals the last group of Tri’s friends.

After rescuing all three groups, Tri will gather them, allowing you to mend the rift and earn rewards.

What is the best way to use Bind to reveal hidden friends in water

The best way to use Bind to reveal hidden friends in water in Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom is to locate movable objects such as boulders or debris that block underwater passages or conceal areas where Tri’s friends are trapped. Position yourself near the object, then use the Bind Echo to pull or move it out of the way, which uncovers hidden alcoves or frees trapped characters. This technique is essential for accessing secret underwater tunnels and revealing all of Tri’s friends scattered throughout Stilled Lake Hylia. Timing and positioning are key, as some objects may be heavy or require precise aiming to successfully move them and expose hidden areas.
