In Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, Zelda has a wardrobe full of outfits that can be unlocked through story progression, amiibo usage, and side quests, with some being purely cosmetic and others giving special abilities. Which outfit will you choose to express yourself as you save Hyrule?

In The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, Zelda can don a variety of outfits obtained through story progression, side quests, amiibo scans, and in-game challenges. Starting with the Disguise outfit in the prologue, players unlock the Royal Travel Attire after completing the main quest “Still Missing.” Additional outfits include the Customary Attire from the “From the Heart” side quest, Silk Pajamas that boost heart recovery, the Dancing Outfit which enhances spin attack range, and Cat Clothes that allow communication with felines. Amiibo unlocks special costumes like Blue Attire, Red Tunic, and Black Cat Clothes. The Green Tunic is earned by conquering the Slumber Dojo challenges, and the Stamp Suit rewards players for collecting all 25 stamps scattered across Hyrule. You won’t be able to start unlocking outfits in Echoes of Wisdom until you finish the Stilled Hyrule Castle portion of the game. After this, Impa will give you a change of clothes, allowing you to swap between the disguise (the blue cloak outfit) and the Royal Travel Attire.

The remainder of the outfits in the game are unlocked by using amiibo, completing side quests or other side content, which are as follows at a glance, with each entry linking to a dedicated description of how to unlock them.

Where to find the Blue Attire, Red Tunic, and Black Cat Clothes

In The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, the Blue Attire, Red Tunic, and Black Cat Clothes are special outfits unlocked through amiibo scanning after completing the Stilled Hyrule Castle segment. The Blue Attire is obtained by scanning any Zelda amiibo, the Red Tunic by scanning any Link amiibo, and the Black Cat Clothes by scanning any Ganondorf amiibo. These outfits are essentially color variants of existing costumes and do not provide gameplay effects, but they add a stylish flair to Zelda’s wardrobe. To access these outfits, pause the game and use the amiibo scan function with the corresponding amiibo figures.

Once you have finished the Stilled Hyrule Castle portion of the game, you can get three outfits from using amiibo: the Blue Attire, the Red Tunic, and the Black Cat Clothes. These are just recolors of existing outfits in the game, so if you don’t have amiibo, you’re not missing out on much.


Where to get the Customary Attire in Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom

The Customary Attire in Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom is obtained by completing the “From the Heart” side quest in Hyrule Castle Town. To start this quest, you need to interact with a young girl named Romi, who is playing with her black dog in town. After progressing through the main story to the point where you can wear different outfits, Romi will give you a Happy Clover and ask you to deliver it to her father. The quest involves rescuing Romi after she runs off, and upon successful completion, the King rewards you with the Customary Attire, which resembles the classic Princess Zelda look. This outfit does not provide any gameplay bonuses but offers a nostalgic aesthetic for players.

Where to get the Silk Pajamas in Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom

To get the Silk Pajamas in Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, you need to complete the side quest called “Dohna’s Challenge” in Gerudo Town. After progressing through the main story until you can wear different outfits, head to Gerudo Town and find Dohna near the east wall. She will challenge you to stealthily break into the Gerudo Treasury and steal the contents of a treasure chest. Successfully completing this challenge rewards you with the Silk Pajamas, which increase heart recovery speed when resting in beds. This outfit is highly valued for its healing benefits and is considered a luxurious item crafted by Gerudo artisans.

You get the Silk Pajamas by from the quest “Dohna’s Challenge” in Gerudo Town. You’ll need to stealth past the Gerudo guards to get these PJs from a chest, which Dohna will let you keep as a reward.

Where to get the Dancing Outfit in Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom

To get the Dancing Outfit in Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, you need to complete the Mango Rush challenge at the Tough Mango Plant Lab located in the Gerudo Desert Oasis. Specifically, you must finish the challenge on the hardest difficulty, called “Ultimate Seeds,” by collecting at least 60 out of 70 Tough Mangos in one run while avoiding obstacles. Successfully completing this unlocks the traditional Gerudo dance wear known as the Dancing Outfit, which increases Zelda’s spin attack radius, making it easier to perform spin attacks and achieve better results in the Mango Rush mini-game.

You get the Dancing Outfit as a reward for beating the mango rush challenge on the hardest difficulty with “ultimate” seeds. The mango rush challenge takes place in the tent in the Gerudo Desert Oasis.

This outfit lets you increases Zelda’s spin ability area of effect.


Where to get the Cat Clothes in Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom

To get the Cat Clothes in Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, you need to complete the “Questioning the Local Cats” side quest in Kakariko Village, which becomes available after finishing the Hyrule Castle dungeon and defeating Ganon. Start by talking to an old man near the village well who mentions his missing cat and the special outfit that allows communication with cats. Then, head to the woman standing outside the shop in the southeastern part of the village. She will ask you to move a cat blocking a hidden stash near the northeastern windmill by using a grilled fish echo to lure the cat away. After digging up the stash with a Holmill echo, she will reward you with the Cat Clothes, enabling you to talk to local cats and progress the quest.

You get the Cat Clothes as a part of the “Questioning the Local Cats” side quest in Kakariko Village. After helping a woman retrieve something from a cat, she’ll give you the outfit, which allows you to do what the quest title says: question the local cats.

Where to get the Green Tunic in Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom

To get the Green Tunic in Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, you must complete all 15 challenges at the Slumber Dojo located in Kakariko Village. These challenges become available after progressing through the main story and clearing the rift at Hyrule Castle, which requires completing the fourth dungeon. The final challenge, called The Titan’s Final Gathering, is a boss rush where you must defeat all seven dungeon bosses and Ganon within a time limit. Successfully finishing this challenge rewards you with the Green Tunic, a purely cosmetic outfit that allows Zelda to wear the classic Link look.

You get the Green Tunic as a reward for completing all 15 of the dojo challenges in Kakariko Village. You won’t have access to the first 14 challenges until after you beat all three areas after Hyrule Castle: the Hebra Mountains, the Eldin Volcano, and the Faron Wetlands. You’ll need to clear out that 14th challenge in order for the 15th challenge to show up.

The 14th challenge is a boss rush of the three bosses from the aforementioned areas, and the 15th challenge is a boss rush of all seven dungeons in the game. You’ll be able to use smoothies, echoes, and other accessories to take on this fight, so just stock up on smoothies ahead of time and you should be able to take down the bosses without too much trouble (since you already have beaten them before).


Where to get the Stamp Suit in Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom

To obtain the Stamp Suit in The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, you must complete the Stamp Rally side quest by collecting all 25 stamps from the Stamp Stands scattered throughout Hyrule. These stands are set up by a character known as Stamp Guy, and each time you fill a stamp card with five stamps, you receive a reward. After collecting all 25 stamps and completing the final stamp card, Stamp Guy will reward you with the Stamp Suit. This outfit serves as a 100% completion reward and also changes Stamp Guy’s dialogue in Kakariko Village when worn. The Stamp Stands are located in various regions, including challenging and hidden spots, so using an interactive map or a detailed guide is recommended to find them all.
