Buddha’s Eyeball location #1

The first Buddha’s Eyeball in Black Myth: Wukong is located at the very beginning of the Fright Cliff region, just a few meters from the Squall Hideout Keeper’s Shrine. After progressing through Sandgate Village and defeating key bosses, players enter Fright Cliff by crossing a bridge and passing through an archway, where the Buddha’s Eyeball can be easily spotted along the main path near the shrine. This initial eyeball is one of six scattered across the area, each found on the heads of Buddha statues that emit a chanting sound to help players locate them.

Starting at the Squall Hideout Shrine in Fright Cliff, turn around and walk a few paces. You’ll run into the statue head, which you can see from the shrine.

Buddha’s Eyeball location #2

The second Buddha’s Eyeball in Black Myth: Wukong is located along the right path in the Squall Hideout area within the Fright Cliff region. To find it, head to the right side where you’ll encounter some rafters guarded by Blazebones enemies. After passing a chest and defeating these foes, proceed upward to reach the Buddha statue at the top of the path. Interact with this statue to collect the second Buddha’s Eyeball.

Starting at the Squall Hideout Shrine in Fright Cliff, take the left path and go forward until you reach the darker area. Go around and take the ramp ahead of you, but keep left. At the top you’ll find an altar and a statue head sitting next to it.

Buddha’s Eyeball location #3

The third Buddha’s Eyeball in Black Myth: Wukong is located near the Squall Hideout Shrine in the Fright Cliff region. To find it, take the left path from the shrine, go through the gate, and then ascend the hill. Once you reach the statue on your left, turn left towards a shaded area where the Buddha’s Eyeball can be found. Be prepared to face Pitstone and Palestone monsters nearby, so it’s advisable to defeat them before collecting the eyeball.

Starting at the Squall Hideout Shrine, take the path to the right and keep straight against the cliff, to the left of the middle fissure. On the path to the next shrine, you’ll find a statue head leaning against the rock on your left.

Buddha’s Eyeball location #4

The fourth Buddha’s Eyeball in Black Myth: Wukong is located along the central path of the Squall Hideout area within the Fright Cliff region. To find it, head back to the Shrine and take the path through the middle of Squall Hideout, where you will spot the Buddha statue holding the eyeball. This location is a bit more straightforward to reach compared to others, as it lies directly on the main route through the area.

Starting at the Squall Hideout Shrine, take the right path. On the farther right side, across the fissure, you’ll see an elevated platform with multiple ranged enemies spitting attacks at you. Climb up the wooden stairs and defeat the two enemies on the highest level. You’ll see a statue resting on the wood.

Buddha’s Eyeball location #5

At Buddha’s Eyeball location #5 in Black Myth: Wukong, you will find the Buddha statue on a balcony to the right of the Mother of Stones boss arena in the Fright Cliff area. To reach it, head through the cave area before the Rockrest Flat Shrine, then take the left path that curves up to another cavern. After climbing the hill and encountering the Mother of Stones boss, take the right path where light shines through the cave at the top, and the Buddha statue with the eyeball is located on the cliff edge. You can choose to fight the boss or leave it for later before collecting this eyeball.

From the Rockrest Flat Shrine, turn left and go into the nearby cave. Take the path up to your right, deeper into the elevated part. Take out the fungus enemies and follow the path until you reach the Mother of Stone. Defeat her and then look for a path outside, to the right of the boss. On the cliff edge, follow the path to an elevated platform that has a statue head resting atop it.

Buddha’s Eyeball location #6

Buddha’s Eyeball #6 in Black Myth: Wukong is located near the Rockrest Flat Keeper’s Shrine. To find it, enter the cave behind the shrine, then turn right and ascend the path until you reach an exit on the right side. The Buddha’s head with the sixth eyeball awaits you on a cliff edge there. This location is close to the Mother of Stones boss arena, making it a notable spot to explore during your journey in Fright Cliff.

From the Rockrest Flat Shrine, turn left and walk forward. You’ll immediately see a statue head to the left of the gate.

Where to deliver Buddha’s Eyeballs in Black Myth: Wukong

After collecting all six Buddha’s Eyeballs scattered throughout the Fright Cliff region in Chapter 2 of Black Myth: Wukong, you need to deliver them at the Stone Vanguard boss arena near the Rockrest Flat Keeper’s Shrine. In the arena, look for a large circular stone mound or rock. Interacting with this rock while holding all six Buddha’s Eyeballs will trigger a cutscene and summon the secret boss Shigandang, allowing you to engage in an additional challenging fight.

Once you defeat the Stone Vanguard (just past the Rockrest Flat Shrine in Fright Cliff) and you have all six eyeballs, return to Stone Vanguard’s arena and look for the big boulder on the left side of the room. Walk up to it and hit “deliver” to resurrect Shigandang, another giant rock monster.

This guy likes to do a lot of slamming the ground, so time your dodges to avoid his shockwaves and fists. These kinds of moves make up the bulk of his attack patterns, but he has a couple of tricks to look out for, specifically his massive area attack that rends the ground (which you should run away from) and his attack that summons pillars of rock that erupt with a delay.

Where can I find all Buddha’s Eyeballs locations in Black Myth Wukong

What is the significance of the chanting Buddha heads in locating the eyeballs

The chanting Buddha heads in Black Myth: Wukong serve as an audio cue that helps players locate the hidden Buddha’s Eyeballs scattered throughout the Fright Cliff region. When you approach one of these Buddha head statues buried in the ground, you will hear a distinct chanting sound, signaling that a Buddha’s Eyeball is nearby. Additionally, these heads have glowing yellow eyes that visually stand out, making them easier to spot amid the environment. Interacting with these chanting heads allows you to collect the Buddha’s Eyeballs, which are key to unlocking a secret boss fight in the game.
