Potions can mean the difference between victory and defeat in Final Fantasy 16. Here’s how to push their healing power beyond the basic brew and keep Clive alive through even the fiercest fights.
In the beginning of Final Fantasy 16, you may be okay with the healing power of your potions and the duration of your tonics, but as you progress through the story, they will not be as effective. Your health total will increase while your potions will heal for the same amount. To fix that, all you need to do is complete the side quests “The Root of the Problem” and “Please Sir, Can I Have Some Morbol.” However, it will take a bit to reach these quest, so hold on tight!
How to increase potion potency in Final Fantasy 16
Complete side quests “The Root of the Problem,” available after the main quest “After the Storm,” and “Please Sir, Can I Have Some Morbol,” unlocked during “A Song of Hope.” Finish “The Root of the Problem” by speaking to Nigel at the Hideaway and gathering required items to receive Morganbeard Extract, which raises potion healing from 20% to 24% of max HP and extends tonic durations. Finish “Please Sir, Can I Have Some Morbol” for Invigorated Morganbeard Extract to push potency to 28% for potions and 56% for high potions.
In Final Fantasy 16, you can upgrade the potency of your consumables through the side quests “The Root of the Problem” and “Please Sir, Can I Have Some Morbol.”
