Find Dark Armor and Depths Armor Sets in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom

Guides

Hidden deep within Hyrule lies a set of armor that cloaks Link in pure darkness. The Dark Armor isn’t just a striking outfit-it grants eerie power to those daring enough to find all its pieces. Here’s how to track it down and claim its shadowed might for yourself.

It does, however, give a set bonus of increased run speed at night if you wear all three together. (The Stealth Armor set, which you can purchase in Kakariko Village, also gives a night speed bonus when all three pieces are worn together.)

Where to find the Dark Armor in Tears of the Kingdom

You can only obtain the Dark Armor by trading Poes to the bargainer statues, so head into the Depths and activate Lightroots as you explore to make navigation easier at night. The first piece, the Dark Tunic, becomes available from the bargainer statue in Lookout Landing after you have spoken to several statues in the Depths, while the remaining pieces are sold by statues found near major landmarks like the Wellsprings and hidden areas beneath the surface. Collect plenty of Poes as you go, since each armor piece costs a sizable amount, and check each new bargainer statue’s inventory to gradually complete the set.โ€‹โ€‹

You can only get this armor from bargainer statues. The first time you interact with a bargainer statue in Lookout Landing, you’ll be able to buy the Dark Tunic for 150 poes. In order to get the Dark Trousers (which costs 200 poes), you’ll need to find three bargainer statues in total. You’ll need to find five for the Dark Hood (300 poes).

Once you find the bargainer statues and interact with them, you’ll be able to buy the pieces from the statue in Lookout Landing, so don’t worry if you don’t have the poes on-hand when you find the statues at first.

Where are all Bargainer statue locations in the Depths

There are seven Bargainer Statues in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, with one on the surface at Lookout Landing and six in the Depths. Discovering them unlocks more armor pieces like the full Dark set (Hood, Tunic, Trousers) for purchase with Poes.โ€‹
