Hidden high above Hyrule’s skies, the Sihajog Shrine challenges players with gravity-defying puzzles and clever mechanics that test precision and timing. Here’s where to find it and how to master every step inside.
When you’re done, our shrine locations page or interactive Hyrule map can direct you toward something else to do.
Sihajog Shrine location in South Lanayru Sky Archipelago
The Sihajog Shrine sits on a small island in the South Lanayru Sky Archipelago, at coordinates 4501, -0909, 1845. Players reach it by gliding southeast from the Popla Foothills Skyview Tower or using a Zonai wing from nearby sky islands. A straightforward paraglide lands you directly at the shrine entrance, visible amid floating rock formations.
The Sihajog Shrine is found within the South Lanayru Sky Archipelago region.
To access the shrine, you’ll first need to complete a skydiving challenge. The challenge giver is a friendly construct who can be found on a floating island located at (4477, -0810, 1115).
It’s possible you already have the Mayanas Shrine unlocked in that area. If so, teleport there and then jump off the island behind the shrine, attempting to land on a smaller island below it. The number 1 is your starting point, the number 2 is where you’re going:

The island you’re looking for looks like this from above:

Once you land on this island, there’s a friendly construct who will mention that there’s a challenge to complete.
Basically you’re gonna be skydiving. When the challenge starts, run and jump through the ring in front of you. Jumping through that ring will cause the next one to appear below you, so aim yourself through it. Keep doing that and you’ll land back on the island where you started. There’s no time limit when doing this the first time, so you can be careful.
Once you complete the challenge, the Sihajog Shrine will appear.
Note: Completing the skydiving challenge again will reward you with the Glide Mask, which helps with aerial control. This time around, you’ll need to beat the challenge in under 25 seconds. To do this, you’ll need to hold R to dive-bomb through much of the challenge in order to make it in time.
Sihajog Shrine walkthrough
Enter Sihajog Shrine on the Great Sky Island at coordinates (1025, -3761, 1652). Activate the nearby Flux Construct to obtain a Fan construct piece. Carry it inside and position it to blow air at the moving platform, timing it so the wind lifts you across the gap. Collect the chest with a Small Key on the upper level, then use the key to open the barred door. Strike the glowing orb with an arrow to raise the final platform and claim the Sign of the Shadow ability from the altar.
How to complete Dive Ceremony green rings challenge
Dive Ceremony Overview
The Dive Ceremony challenge on Valor Island unlocks the Sihajog Shrine in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Speak to the Steward Construct on the lower island near the pool to start; it spawns green rings after activating the green altar atop the tall island stack.
Step-by-Step Completion
Climb or Ascend to the top island, activate the altar, then skydive through all six descending green rings in sequence. Start with a forward dash (hold B) and jump (A), dive (R) while steering up-right into the first ring, release R briefly to adjust for the second, dive continuously through the third, glide briefly up for the fourth, and dive through the final two while pushing forward on the left stick.
Land precisely in the starting pool below to succeed; the first run has no timer, but repeats offer tighter limits like 25 seconds for rewards such as the Glide Mask.
Full stamina wheels aid gliding to the area beforehand; failure simply restarts the rings.
Tips for Success
Practice dives to master ring paths, as speed comes from minimal gliding and precise steering. Completing it reveals the shrine entrance nearby.
Best glide armor for Dive Ceremony under 20 seconds
Glide Armor Set
The Glide armor set (Mask, Shirt, Tights) provides Skydive Mobility Up, essential for the Valor Island Dive Ceremony’s under-20-second challenge, as it boosts midair control and stamina efficiency during dives and glides.
Obtaining Pieces
Obtain the Glide Shirt from Courage Island (under 35s), Glide Tights from Bravery Island (under 35s), and Glide Mask from Valor Island itself (under 35s). Equip all three before attempting the 20-second record on Valor Island; even partial sets help, but the full set maximizes maneuverability for precise ring passes.
Strategy with Armor
Wear the full set to dive faster (hold R), minimize gliding, and steer sharply through rings without stamina drain issues. Upgrading at Great Fairies (e.g., Aerocuda parts) adds Impact Proof at 2-star, negating fall damage for aggressive landings.
