Sky Garden puzzle pieces
In the Sky Garden stage of Gorilla Nebula in Astro Bot, there are three puzzle pieces to collect. The first puzzle piece is found at the third checkpoint, before a large stone wall, after using the laser boost to glide over electric enemies and climbing a yellow ladder. The second puzzle piece is located on the back of a pink flamingo circling above a stack of logs, which you can reach after obtaining the Octo-Balloon ability. The third puzzle piece can be found at the top of the giant water tank tower, on the lead blue stingray in a swimming group. Collecting these pieces requires careful exploration and use of abilities like the laser boost and Octo-Balloon to reach hidden or elevated areas.
There are three puzzle pieces to find in this level:
Sky Garden puzzle piece #1

The first puzzle piece is found directly on the main path of Sky Garden. Can’t miss it.
Sky Garden puzzle piece #2

The second puzzle in Sky Garden is held captive by a flying flamingo. Wait until you acquire the octopus ability, which allows you to jump and float in the air for longer than you normally can. Use the ability, then position yourself above the flamingo. Drop onto the puzzle when you’re aligned with it.
Sky Garden puzzle piece #3

The third puzzle piece is being carried by a school of manta rays swimming in the giant cylinder of water that leads to the end of the level.
Creamy Canyon puzzle pieces
In Creamy Canyon, players will find three puzzle pieces hidden throughout the level. The first piece is revealed by defeating enemies attacking a snowman and then pulling the wires beneath it. The second puzzle piece is located on a raised platform in the snowy area, accessible by hitting a ladybug enemy and using it as a springboard. The third piece can be found near the end of the level on a bird flying around an ice rink; players need to hit the ladybug enemies skating around to jump onto the bird and collect the piece. These puzzle pieces are cleverly integrated into the environment, requiring interaction with enemies and objects to uncover them.
There are three puzzle pieces to find in this level:
Creamy Canyon puzzle piece #1

Right behind the first bot in Creamy Canyon, you’ll see a snowman. Defeat the enemies and melee attack the snowman. Pull on the wire to reveal the level’s first puzzle piece.
Creamy Canyon puzzle piece #2

The second puzzle piece in Creamy Canyon is located on the same platform as the third bot. Melee attack the ladybug bot to expose its launch pad, then use the pad to get enough height to hover over to the puzzle piece.
Creamy Canyon puzzle piece #3

The third puzzle piece in Creamy Canyon is located at the peak. You’ll see a bird holding the puzzle piece flying in circles over an ice rink with two ladybug bots crashing into each other. Use the launch pads on the exposed bellies of the bots to jump onto the ledge on the far side (pictured in the image above). You can hover to the puzzle piece from there.
Az-Tech Trail puzzle pieces
In the Az-Tech Trail level of Astro Bot’s Gorilla Nebula, players can find three puzzle pieces hidden throughout the stage. To collect them, you will need to use the Twin-Frog Gloves ability, which allows you to pull objects. One puzzle piece is revealed by pulling a gummy block out of an ape-shaped rock near the first grapple rod, uncovering a water flow. Another piece is found after using the gloves to pull a block near a trampoline, which triggers a platform leading to the puzzle piece. The final puzzle piece is located in a wall near two swing poles; you must swing and double jump to reach it. Collecting all three puzzle pieces in Az-Tech Trail is essential for completing the Gorilla Nebula puzzle collection.
There are three puzzle pieces to find in this level:
Az-Tech Trail puzzle piece #1

The first puzzle piece in Az-Tech Trail is located shortly after you defeat the first pair of cactus enemies and launch off the first red-rolly-thingy. Look to your left. You’ll see a dried-out pond bed in front of a red block. Use your alligator-fist ability to pull the block, causing the pond to fill with water and revealing the puzzle piece.
Az-Tech Trail puzzle piece #2

You can find the first puzzle piece in Az-Tech Trail after exiting the temple and using the slingshot to launch yourself across the chasm. On the ensuing platform, before going further, look to your right to see a red block. Pulling the block will reveal a series of platforms leading to the puzzle piece.
Az-Tech Trail puzzle piece #3

The third puzzle piece in Az-Tech Trail is located on the main path of the level, as you climb to the top. There are two red-rolly-thingies near it, which you can use to catapult yourself into the puzzle piece’s nook.
Construction Derby puzzle pieces
In the Construction Derby level of Gorilla Nebula in Astro Bot, players can find three puzzle pieces hidden throughout the construction site-themed stage. These puzzle pieces require careful exploration and platforming skills to reach, often involving navigating dangerous machinery, magnetic puzzles, and tricky jumps. Key locations include flying into the first puzzle piece early in the level while controlling the Dual Speeder, and exploring hidden platforms revealed by interacting with the environment, such as pulling wires or using boosters to reach high pillars. Collecting all puzzle pieces in Construction Derby is essential for completing the level’s collectibles and unlocking additional game features.
When you unlock Construction Derby, an alien robot will start zipping around the Gorilla Nebula with a puzzle piece. Before starting the level, while you’re still in the nebula, crash into the alien with your controller spaceship to get the puzzle before. There are also three puzzle pieces to find in the level itself:
Construction Derby puzzle piece #1

The first puzzle piece in Construction Derby is situated on a crane right as you’re flying into the level. Angle your controller to the left to get it.
Consruction Derby puzzle piece #2

The second puzzle piece in Construction Derby can be found directly after you acquire the bulldog-rushing ability and shatter the glass wall. In the next room, head to the right, where you’ll see the puzzle piece on a crane. Pull on the exposed wire to get a magnet, then go back into the room you left from to pick up as many paint cans as you can, creating a giant ball of metal. Toss the ball at the crane to lower the puzzle piece to a height you can reach.
Construction Derby puzzle piece #3

The third puzzle piece in Construction Derby is located in the partially constructed building you’ll end up at after crossing a series of steel beams. Drop down to the ledge below, then pull on the exposed wire. This will reveal a square pattern of green blocks. Walk slowly around the circumference until your controller rumbles while you’re standing on one of the blocks, then hover-jump to reveal the puzzle piece.
Apes on the Loose puzzle pieces
In the “Apes on the Loose” level of Astro Bot’s Gorilla Nebula, players can find three puzzle pieces scattered throughout the stage. The first puzzle piece is located above a water fountain, accessible by using the water to float up. The second is found on a glass platform after ascending a ladder guarded by a slime enemy. The third puzzle piece is hidden under a triangular structure near the main plaza, reachable by bouncing on a trampoline and using a flower power-up to float up to the platform. Collecting these pieces requires careful exploration and interaction with the environment, such as using dynamite to release bots and navigating various platforms.
There are three puzzle pieces to find in this level:
Apes on the Loose puzzle piece #1

The first puzzle piece can be found hovering above the fountain in the statue area.
Apes on the Loose puzzle piece #2

In the far right corner of the statue area, defeat the green enemy on the platform and use the flower to glide up to the triangle-shaped struts above where there’s an ape bot (Self-Aware Ape). Drop down through the middle of these struts to get the puzzle piece.
