Discover the secret to unlocking a powerful new evolution in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet’s The Indigo Disk DLC: Archaludon. This sleek Steel/Dragon-type evolution of Duraludon requires a special item called the Metal Alloy, obtainable through Blueberry Academy rewards, the school store, or hidden in the Chargestone Cavern. Ready to evolve your Duraludon and dominate with Archaludon? Here’s how to make it happen.
Where to find Duraludon in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
Duraludon can be found primarily in the Polar Biome within the Terarium area of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet’s Indigo Disk DLC. It tends to appear most frequently in higher-elevation spots near the Polar Rest Area. Players can encounter wild Duraludon around level 60 to 75, but it will be disobedient until all eight Gym Badges are obtained. To increase encounter chances, using sandwiches that boost Dragon- or Steel-type spawns can help. Additionally, Duraludon may respawn after the initial encounter, though it could be replaced by other Pokémon over time.
You can find Duraludon in any of the locations below:

There are plenty of Duraludon wandering around the snowy mountains in the Terarium. We were able to find one pretty quickly, but if you’re struggling, you can use a dragon-type sandwich to help boost the encounter rate of Duraludon. We use the “Great Avocado Sandwich,” which consists of avocado, smoked fillet, tomato, and salt.
