The month-long season started with a live event and kicked off the Remix season with The Doggfather, Snoop Dogg, and continued with the addition of one Slim Shady, Eminem. This season’s weekly updates will a tour through Chapter 2 with updates each Thursday unvaulting weapons and vehicles that are new, old, or remixed.
Let’s talk about everything new (well, everything old that’s new again) in Fortnite Remix’s Week 3 update.
Fortnite Remix map changes for Week 3
The Fortnite Remix Week 3 update brings a notable change to the map with the return of The Shark point of interest (POI), now rebranded as Ice Isle, located in the far northwest corner. This area has been transformed to feature Ice Spice, who serves as an NPC boss players can challenge to obtain her mythic weapons, the Ice’s Grappler and Spice’s Rifle. This update continues the season’s theme of revisiting and reimagining Chapter 2 locations, adding fresh content while maintaining nostalgic elements. Alongside the map changes, the update also introduces new weapon loot and cosmetic additions, enhancing the overall gameplay experience for this condensed season.
The Fortnite Remix map continues to be modeled on the Chapter 2 map.

The big change this week is the return of The Shark POI in the far northwest of the map. It’s been remixed by Ice Spice’s arrival into Ice Isle.
Fortnite Remix weapon loot pool
The Fortnite Remix Week 3 update reintroduces a diverse weapon loot pool primarily from Chapter 2, featuring a mix of unvaulted classic weapons and some limited-time items. Players can find favorites such as the Tactical Shotgun, Pump Shotgun, Dual Pistols, Rapid Fire SMG, Suppressed SMG, Suppressed Assault Rifle, Heavy Sniper Rifle, Semi-Automatic Sniper Rifle, Hunting Rifle, Rocket Launcher, Grenade Launcher, and various throwable explosives like Grenades, Clingers, and Stink Bombs. Additionally, the Mythic Goldfish and Bandage Bazooka make a return, alongside the Boogie Bomb, which now plays Snoop Dogg’s “Drop It Like It’s Hot.” This curated loot pool offers a nostalgic yet refreshed combat experience, with some weapons available for limited times and others potentially lasting the entire season. Players can also challenge Ice Spice to obtain the Mythic Spice’s Rifle, adding a new dynamic to the arsenal.

Over the course of the shortened Fortnite Remix season, old and previously vaulted weapons from Chapter 2 will be returning including:
- Dual Pistols
- Tactical Shotgun
- Pump Shotgun
- Rapid Fire SMG
- Suppressed SMG
- Suppressed Assault Rifle
- Heavy Sniper Rifle
- Semi-Automatic Sniper Rifle
- Hunting Rifle
- Rocket Launcher
- Grenade Launcher
- Remote Explosives
- Grenades
- Clingers
- Stink Bomb
- Mythic Goldfish
- Bandage Bazooka
- Boogie Bomb (that plays Snoop’s “Drop It Like It’s Hot”)
Some of the unvaulted items will only be available for a week, others will be around for longer – up to the entire length of the season.

Fortnite Remix cosmetics for Week 3
The Fortnite Remix Week 3 update introduces exciting new cosmetics centered around Ice Spice, including her Ice Spice and Rap Princess Ice Spice outfits, both featuring distinctive accessories like Benny The Jeweler’s princess necklace. Additionally, the update debuts a new cosmetic category called “Kicks”-stylish shoes from brands such as Nike and Jordan, as well as Fortnite originals. These Kicks are designed to be compatible with over 500 Fortnite outfits, allowing players to customize their characters’ footwear for a fresh look. However, there is currently a bug preventing players from accessing or purchasing these shoes. The Week 3 cosmetics add a vibrant new layer of personalization and style to the Fortnite Remix experience.

The big addition for cosmetics with Week 3 is the new section for Kicks (“shoes” for us olds). According to leaker Twitter, though, there’s currently a bug and the shoes aren’t going to be for sale or available for a bit.
How will the return of The Shark POI change Fortnite’s gameplay dynamics this week
The return of The Shark POI, now reimagined as Ice Isle with Ice Spice as the boss, significantly shifts Fortnite’s gameplay dynamics this week by introducing two powerful mythic weapons-the Mythic Scar and Mythic Grappler-that can turn the tide of battles for those who land here. The POI’s secluded northwest location makes it a high-risk, high-reward spot, as players must quickly secure loot and reposition due to its distance from the typical safe zones, encouraging fast-paced rotations and aggressive plays. Additionally, defeating Ice Spice allows players to hire her for unique healing and speed boosts via Chili Chug Splashes, adding new tactical layers to engagements around this area. This combination of potent mythics, mobility options, and strategic positioning makes Ice Isle a hotspot for intense combat and dynamic gameplay shifts in the current Fortnite Remix season.
How will The Shark POI’s return influence early-game landings this week
The return of The Shark POI as Ice Isle will make it a highly contested early-game landing spot due to its valuable loot and the presence of the Ice Spice boss with mythic weapons. Players aiming for a strong start will rush to this northwest location to secure powerful gear, leading to intense early skirmishes. However, its somewhat isolated position means players must quickly gather resources and plan swift rotations to avoid being caught out as the storm closes, adding a strategic risk-reward element to early-game landings this week.
