Genshin Impact’s latest world quest hides Fravashi Trees across forgotten corners-pinpoint them all before they vanish.
During the “Khvarena’s Light Shows: Nirodha” world quest, Sorush will notice one of the Fravashi Trees and draw your attention to it. From here, you’ll receive the “Pale Fire” quest which will have you find all ten of the Fravashi Trees. They can be quite difficult to spot, so let us help. Here’s where you can find all ten of the Fravashi Trees for the “Pale Fire” world quest.
We recommend that you complete the “As the Khvarena’s Light Shows” world quest in the “Khvarena of Good and Evil” quest line before searching for the Fravashi Trees as you will not be able to reach some of the trees.

All Fravashi Tree Locations in Genshin Impact
Fravashi Tree locations across Teyvat are scattered challenges that reward you with valuable ascension materials and clues for related world quests, so check each area carefully while exploring to maximize your loot and complete the Fravashi Tree objectives.
- Travel to the Fravashi Tree by teleporting to the nearby teleport waypoint.
- Use the “Sorush” gadget to switch to Sorush and use Sorush’s interact ability, “E” by default, beside the Fravashi Tree.
- Press “Z” to switch back to your character and interact with the Pari that spawned inside.
The next few steps vary depending on the Fravashi Tree. The residual Paris will give you a variety of tasks such as gathering residual Pari fragments as Sorush, defeating enemies, and flying alongside the Pari.

Fravashi Tree 1 Location
The first Fravashi Tree stands southeast of the Teleport Waypoint near the southern entrance to the Girded Heart ruins in the Desert of Hadramaveth. Head down the sandy slope from the waypoint, then follow the curving path past the stone pillars and ruins until you spot the glowing tree beside a small cliff edge. Activate it by interacting with the branch to restore its power and claim your rewards.
For the first Fravashi Tree, you’ll need to go underground to reach it. You’ll come across this during the “As the Khvarena’s Light Shows: Nirodha” world quest. The residual Pari will give you the task of gathering the residual Pari fragments nearby.
Fravashi Tree 2 Location
Fravashi Tree 2 can be found near the Tunigi Hollow area in the northern part of Gavireh Lajavard. Head toward the cliffs west of the large canyon and follow the Seelie that leads to a hidden clearing. The tree stands close to a group of ancient ruins surrounded by glowing fragments. Interact with the nearby residual Pari to begin the purification process and complete this location’s challenge.
Drop down from one of the nearby teleport waypoints to easily reach this Fravashi Tree. The residual Pari at this tree will ask you for three Udumbara Pistils.
Fravashi Tree 3 Location
Fravashi Tree 3 can be found near the Tunigi Hollow area in Gavireh Lajavard. Head northwest from the nearby teleport waypoint and follow the path leading toward the cliffs. The tree is situated close to a large rock formation, surrounded by floating blue lights that mark its presence. Interact with the Fravashi to begin the challenge and collect the corresponding quest reward once completed.
The third Fravashi Tree is located underground, and can be reached from a nearby waypoint. This Fravashi Tree also requires three Udumbara Pistils.
Fravashi Tree 4 Location
Fravashi Tree 4 is found near the Tunigi Hollow area in Sumeru’s Gavireh Lajavard region. Glide down from the nearby teleport waypoint and look for a small clearing with several floating Dendro particles. After interacting with the Fravashi Tree, use a character with Dendro ability to trigger the surrounding energy orbs and awaken the spirit within. Completing this step will provide one of the required fragments for the related world quest.
The fourth Fravashi Tree is located underground; you’ll have to gather residual Pari fragments nearby. Switch to Sorush and search for the three glowing green orbs in the air above you. When you’re beside one of the fragments, use Sorush’s interact ability (“E” by default) to retrieve it.
Fravashi Tree 5 Location
Fravashi Tree 5 lies near the edge of Tunigi Hollow, close to a group of Floating Hydro Fungi. Players can glide down from the nearby teleport waypoint to spot the faint Anemo glow marking the area. Clearing nearby enemies first helps avoid interruptions while interacting with the tree. After offering the required energy, a challenge will appear that must be completed to awaken the Fravashi Tree’s power.
The fifth Fravashi Tree is located underground and can be accessed after collecting all of the Great Songs of Khvarena during the “As the Khvarena’s Light Shows” world quest. To complete this Fravashi Tree, you must defeat a few enemies.
Fravashi Tree 6 Location
Fravashi Tree 6 can be found on the western cliffs of the Tunigi Hollow area in Gavireh Lajavard. Glide from the nearby teleport waypoint to reach the ledge where the tree stands close to a group of Ruin Sentinels. Interact with the blue wisp to begin the offering process, then follow its path until it returns to the tree to complete the challenge and receive your rewards.
This Fravashi Tree is located on top of a hill in between the Gate of Zulqarnain and Tunigi Hollow. The residual Pari here will ask you to defeat some monsters.
Fravashi Tree 7 Location
Fravashi Tree 7 is found close to the Tunigi Hollow area, perched on a rocky ledge surrounded by lush vegetation. To reach it, glide from the nearby teleport waypoint and follow the narrow path leading down toward a small clearing. The tree sits beside a group of glowing fungi, making it easy to spot. Defeat the nearby enemies before interacting with the Fravashi Tree to collect the residue and continue progressing through the world quest.
Teleport to the nearby waypoint in the image above and follow the route instead of trying to climb your way up. This Fravashi Tree will have you switch to Sorush and fly beside the Pari.

Fravashi Tree 8 Location
Fravashi Tree 8 can be found in the Asipattravana Swamp, near a small pool surrounded by tall reeds and broken stone pillars. The tree spirit appears close to a fallen ruin guard, slightly west of a teleport waypoint. Players should approach from the nearby cliff for a clear view and glide down to interact easily. After offering energy, the area will illuminate briefly, marking the Fravashi Tree as completed.
For the eighth Fravashi Tree, you can glide down from the seventh Fravashi Tree to access it. The residual Pari here will task you with collecting residual Pari fragments in the air.
Fravashi Tree 9 Location
The ninth Fravashi Tree stands on a high cliff overlooking the southern edge of the Wearin Hollow ruins in the Desert of Hadramaveth. Approach from the southwest teleport waypoint, then glide down to the ledge or climb the rocky outcrop using nearby Four-Leaf Sigils for a quick ascent. Activate the tree by interacting with its glowing branch to collect the Phlogiston and advance the quest.
The ninth Fravashi Tree can be accessed from the Statue of the Seven nearby. Walk alongside the path the reach this Fravashi Tree which will task you with flying beside the residual Pari.
Fravashi Tree 10 Location
The tenth Fravashi Tree sits atop a rocky outcrop in the southern part of the Vourukasha Oasis, just east of the teleport waypoint near the Mausoleum of King Deshret. Climb the jagged cliffs from the nearby riverbed or glide down from higher plateaus to reach it. Activate the tree by interacting with its glowing branches, which summons Dendro particles and reveals a nearby puzzle with invisible walls. Solving the puzzle grants 3 Phantasmal Seeds along with some Adventure EXP and Primogems. Mark this spot on your map to avoid backtracking during the quest.
How to get and use Sorush gadget for Fravashi Trees
To get the Sorush gadget in Genshin Impact, complete the “Khvarena of Good and Evil” World Quest chain in the Girdle of the Sands (Sumeru desert, version 3.6+). Start by activating the Teleport Waypoint southwest of Gavireh Lajavard and interacting with the Kory Drum nearby to trigger “The Splendrous Sky That Day,” where Sorush is awarded during progression.
Using Sorush for Fravashi Trees
Switch to Sorush via the gadget menu (replaces your character temporarily) and approach a Fravashi Tree, then press the interact skill (E on PC by default) to awaken the Residual Pari inside. Switch back to your Traveler character and speak to the Pari to start the tree’s challenge, such as collecting Udumbara Pistils, flying tasks, or combat.
Key Sorush Abilities
Sorush reveals hidden elements like Pari fragments or floating stones and handles desert puzzles (e.g., Nirodha Fruits, Purple Mist, Plumes of Purifying Light). It cannot be used outside the Girdle of the Sands; upgrades occur later in the questline for advanced interactions like moving sigils.
What rewards do Fravashi Trees give
Fravashi Trees in Genshin Impact reward players with a Plume of Purifying Light and a Treasure Chest for each of the 10 trees after completing their unique challenge (e.g., combat, collecting Udumbara Pistils, flying with Pari fragments).
Plume of Purifying Light Uses
Collect all 10 plumes from the trees (part of the 36 total available) and offer them to the Amrita Pool in Vourukasha Oasis to unlock rewards like Primogems, Hero’s Wits, Mystic Enhancement Ores, and a unique name card. Completing the full Pale Fire quest after all trees also grants 40 Primogems, 3 Hero’s Wits, and the “Homeward-Bound Spirits” achievement.
