Unlock the fiery power of Natlan in Genshin Impact with the new craftable weapons introduced in patch 5.0. To forge these unique weapons, players must first complete the quest “Natlan! A New Adventure” and then obtain blueprints from Alom, the region’s blacksmith located at the Stadium of the Sacred Flame. Gather rare Natlan-specific materials like Grainfruit, Spinel Fruit, Embercore Flower, and Cacahuatl to exchange for these blueprints and start crafting weapons that bring fresh strategies and elemental boosts to your arsenal.
Since most four-star weapons can only be obtained through the Genshin Impact’s gacha system (the “wish system”), crafting weapons is an excellent way to gear up your characters for free. Just find the right NPC, collect the required materials, and start crafting.
Here’s where to find the Natlan weapon blueprints in Genshin Impact and how to get them.
Where to find Natlan weapon blueprints
To find Natlan weapon blueprints in Genshin Impact, players need to visit Alom, the local blacksmith located in the Stadium of the Sacred Flame in Natlan. The smithy is situated in the southern section of the stadium; from the teleporter at the entrance, head forward, take the stairs on the left, go through the door, and proceed down the corridor to meet Alom. He sells the blueprints for all Natlan craftable weapons, which are not purchased with Mora but instead require trading various Natlan regional materials and Condessence Crystals. Once acquired, these blueprints allow players to forge the weapons using specific materials found in Natlan and Fontaine.

To get the Natlan weapon blueprints, you must visit the Stadium of the Sacred Flame and buy them from Alom, the local blacksmith. If you haven’t been there yet, you can enter Natlan from the Desert of Hadramaveth and follow the road to the west, through Tequemecan Valley (see map above for the full route). The Stadium of the Sacred Flame is in the Basin of the Unnumbered Flames area.

Upon arriving in the city (via the eastern teleport waypoint), don’t go into the circular arena ahead of you, but take the seemingly locked doors on the left – they’ll swing open as soon as you approach (see picture above).
As you enter the “Temple of Pax,” go downstairs to find Alom’s blacksmith station right in front of you.

To get a Natlan forging diagram, ask Alom to show his wares. A single forging diagram costs 10 Condessence Crystal and two different types of Natlan materials, 10 pieces each (so 20 materials total). If you already have the required materials, you can unlock the weapon diagrams right away. If not, we’ll show you how to obtain these materials below.
How to get Natlan forging diagrams
To get Natlan forging diagrams in Genshin Impact, players need to first complete the quest “Natlan! A New Adventure” in Archon Quest Chapter V: Act I, which unlocks access to Alom, the blacksmith located in the Stadium of the Sacred Flame. Once unlocked, you can purchase the forging blueprints from Alom by spending 10 Condessence Crystals and 10 units each of two specific Natlan regional materials required for each weapon. These materials include various local plants and ores such as Grainfruit, Spinel Fruit, Embercore Flower, Cacahautl, and Candlecap Mushroom. After acquiring the blueprints, players can craft the weapons at the forge using additional materials like Borderlands Blanks, Condensing Crystals, White Iron Scraps, and Mora.
First things first, here’s an overview of the materials you’ll need to obtain a forging diagram from Alom:
- Flute of Ezpitzal (sword): Condessence Crystal x10, Grainfruit x10, Spinel Fruit x10
- Earth Shaker (claymore): Condessence Crystal x10, Embercore Flower x10, Cacahuatl x10
- Footprint of the Rainbow (polearm): Condessence Crystal x10, Embercore Flower x10, Spinel Fruit x10
- Ring of Yaxche (catalyst): Condessence Crystal x10, Candlecap Mushroom x10, Cacahuatl x10
- Chain Breaker (bow): Condessence Crystal x10, Grainfruit x10, Candlecap Mushroom x10
If you’d like to obtain every Natlan blueprint, here’s what you’ll need in total:
- Condessence Crystal x50
- Grainfruit x20
- Cacahuatl x20
- Embercore Flower x20
- Spinel Fruit x20
- Candlecap Mushroom x20

You can find Condessence Crystal in the Natlan and Fontaine regions. It’s a shiny blue rock that usually spawns in groups of at least two. Condessence Crystal typically appears near water, making it particularly common along Natlan’s coastline. If you’re willing to travel to Fontaine, the underwater trenches are another great place to gather crystals.
Grainfruit spawns all across Natlan, but a particularly great farming spot is around the Statue of the Seven east of the Stadium of the Sacred Flame. You’ll easily find more than 10 pieces here.
Cacahuatl also spawns everywhere in Natlan but it’s not quite as common as Grainfruit. One excellent farming location is directly north of the Sanctum of Rainbow Spirits Domain, in an enemy camp at the edge of the cliff. After collecting six Cacahuatl there, glide down towards the north; the enemy camp below you contains eight Cacahuatl plus a few bonus Grainfruits.

Another rare material is the Embercore Flower. Luckily, you can find several flowers at the same spot in the Sulfurous Veins. The Embercore Flowers are on top of the rectangular cliff in the middle of this area – you can easily glide over from the teleport waypoint in the west. Beware that you must hit the flower (any attack will do) to obtain the Embercore.
Candlecap Mushrooms are very common on the cliffs north of the Stadium of the Sacred Flame. The easiest way to grab them is to start from a teleport waypoint on the higher cliffs, then descend towards the city in the south.
Embercore Flowers and Candlecap Mushrooms are also highly common inside the cave system below the Toyac Springs. As this is the only place where you can farm Spinel Fruit, it’s worth a visit, but beware that you must complete the first part of the “Tracer No Tracing” world quest first. To find the entrance, head just a little bit southeast from the Statue of the Seven and drop through the gap in the ruins below.
All forgeable Natlan weapons
The forgeable Natlan weapons in Genshin Impact consist of five unique craftable weapons introduced in version 5.0. Players can obtain their blueprints by purchasing them from Alom, the blacksmith located at the Stadium of the Sacred Flame in Natlan, after completing the quest “Natlan! A New Adventure.” These weapons include the Flute of Ezpitzal (Sword), Earth Shaker (Claymore), Ring of Yaxche (Catalyst), Footprint of the Rainbow (Polearm), and Chain Breaker (Bow). Crafting them requires specific local materials such as Grainfruit, Spinel Fruit, Embercore Flower, Cacahuatl, Candlecap Mushroom, and Condessence Crystals. Additionally, some of these weapons were distributed for free during the 5.0 update event “Off We Go To The Nation Of Pyro.” To fully enhance these weapons, players must craft duplicates and gather substantial resources like Borderlands Blanks, Condensing Crystals, White Iron Scraps, and Mora.

Not sure if these Natlan weapons are the right fit for your characters? Here’s an overview of each craftable Natlan weapon and its passive effect (no upgrades):
- Flute of Ezpitzal (sword): DEF 15%. Using an Elemental Skill increases DEF by 16% for 15 seconds.
- Earth Shaker (claymore): ATK 6%. After a party member triggers a Pyro-related reaction, the equipping character’s Elemental Skill DMG is increased by 16% for eight seconds. This effect can be triggered even when the triggering party member is not on the field.
- Footprint of the Rainbow (polearm): DEF 11.3%. Using an Elemental Skill increases DEF by 16% for 15 seconds.
- Ring of Yaxche (catalyst): HP 9%. Using an Elemental Skill grants the Jade-Forged Crown effect: Every 1,000 Max HP will increase the Normal Attack DMG dealt by the equipping character by 0.6% for 10 seconds. Normal Attack DMG can be increased this way by a maximum of 16%.
- Chain Breaker (bow): ATK 6%. For every party member from Natlan or who has a different Elemental Type from the equipping character, the equipping character gains 4.8% increased ATK. When there are no less than three of the aforementioned characters, the equipping character gains 24 Elemental Mastery.
What secret items do I need to unlock Natlan weapon blueprints in Genshin Impact
To unlock the Natlan weapon blueprints in Genshin Impact, you need to obtain and trade several secret regional items to Alom, the blacksmith located inside the Stadium of the Sacred Flame in Natlan. The key items required are:
-
Grainfruit
-
Spinel Fruit
-
Embercore Flower
-
Cacahuatl
-
Candlecap Mushroom
-
Condessence Crystals (a special currency)
Each blueprint requires a specific combination of these materials, typically 10 of each per weapon blueprint, along with 10 Condessence Crystals. For example, the Flute of Ezpitzal blueprint requires 10 Grainfruit, 10 Spinel Fruit, and 10 Condessence Crystals, while the Earth Shaker blueprint requires 10 Embercore Flower, 10 Cacahuatl, and 10 Condessence Crystals.
Additionally, to actually forge the weapons after obtaining the blueprints, you will need Borderland Billets of the appropriate weapon type, which can be earned from weekly Trounce Domain challenges or crafted by combining Dream Solvents with Northlander or Midlander Billets.
In summary, the secret items you must gather to unlock Natlan weapon blueprints are the regional specialty materials (Grainfruit, Spinel Fruit, Embercore Flower, Cacahuatl, Candlecap Mushroom) and Condessence Crystals, which you exchange with Alom to purchase the blueprints.
Do I need to complete any hidden quests to access the Natlan weapon blueprints
Yes, to access the Natlan weapon blueprints in Genshin Impact, you must first complete the Archon Quest Chapter V: Act I titled “Natlan! A New Adventure” (also known as “Flowers Resplendent on the Sun-Scorched Sojourn”). Completing this quest unlocks access to Alom, the blacksmith in the Stadium of the Sacred Flame, from whom you can purchase the weapon blueprints.
There are no additional hidden or secret quests explicitly required to unlock the blueprints beyond this main quest. However, exploring Natlan and completing various world quests can help you gather the necessary regional materials and Condessence Crystals needed to craft the weapons once you have the blueprints.
