Ready to step into the most visually stunning life simulation yet? Before you dive into the immersive world of InZoi, make sure your PC is equipped to handle its next-gen graphics and complex gameplay. From a solid Intel i5 or Ryzen 5 processor and 12 GB of RAM at minimum, to powerhouse setups with RTX 4080 GPUs and 32 GB RAM for ultra settings, InZoi demands serious hardware muscle to bring its lifelike experience to life.
There haven’t been many competitors in the life sim genre, and the latest The Sims installment has been over a decade ago. As InZoi is much more demanding on hardware than EA’s long-running series, it’s important to know if your PC can handle the experience before you play.
Here are the InZoi system requirements, including a few visuals of each graphic setting so you know what to expect.
InZoi system requirements
The InZoi system requirements for PC specify that to run the game at minimum settings, you need a Windows 10/11 64-bit OS, an Intel i5-10400 or AMD Ryzen 5 3600 processor, 12 GB of RAM, and a graphics card such as the Nvidia RTX 2060 or AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT with 6 GB VRAM, along with 40 GB of storage. For a better experience at recommended settings, the specs increase to an Intel i7 12700K or Ryzen 7 7800X3D CPU, 16 GB RAM, and a more powerful GPU like the Nvidia RTX 3070 or Radeon RX 6800 XT with 16 GB VRAM, requiring 60 GB of storage. The game also demands DirectX 12 and an internet connection for all settings. High-end “ultra” settings call for even more powerful hardware, including an Intel i7 14700K or Ryzen 9 9800X3 CPU, 32 GB RAM, and an Nvidia RTX 4080 or equivalent GPU with 24 GB VRAM, plus up to 75 GB storage. These requirements reflect InZoi’s focus on delivering highly realistic visuals and a demanding life simulation experience.
Originally, developer Krafton released the minimum and recommended system requirements on the InZoi Steam page, but they’ve provided more details on what you’ll need to run InZoi at minimum, medium, recommended and high settings:
The InZoi system requirements for PC ensure that players have the necessary hardware and software to enjoy the game’s highly realistic life simulation experience. At minimum, the game requires a 64-bit Windows 10 or 11 operating system, an Intel i5-10400 or AMD Ryzen 5 3600 processor, 12 GB of RAM, and a graphics card such as the NVIDIA RTX 2060 or AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT with at least 6 GB VRAM. Storage needs start at 40 GB. For a recommended setup that supports smoother gameplay and higher graphical settings, an Intel i7-12700K or AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D CPU, 16 GB RAM, and an NVIDIA RTX 3070 or AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT graphics card with 8-16 GB VRAM are advised, along with 60 GB of available disk space. DirectX 12 and a stable internet connection are also required across all settings.

Minimum, medium, recommended, high spec differences
The system requirements for InZoi are categorized into four tiers: Minimum, Medium, Recommended, and High, each reflecting different levels of hardware capability and gaming experience. The Minimum specs require an Intel i5 10400 or AMD Ryzen 5 3600 CPU, 12 GB RAM, and an NVIDIA RTX 2060 or AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT GPU with 6 GB VRAM, suitable for basic gameplay with lower graphics settings. Medium specs step up to an Intel i7 11700 or Ryzen 7 5800X3D, 16 GB RAM, and an RTX 3060 or Radeon RX 6600 GPU, offering improved performance and visuals. Recommended specs call for an Intel i7 12700K or Ryzen 7 7800X3D, 16 GB RAM, and a more powerful RTX 3070 or Radeon RX 6800 XT with 16 GB VRAM, delivering a smoother and more detailed experience. The High tier demands top-end hardware like an Intel i7 14700K or Ryzen 7 9800X3D, 32 GB RAM, and an RTX 4080 or Radeon RX 7900 XTX with 16-24 GB VRAM, enabling the highest graphical fidelity and performance. Storage requirements also increase from 40 GB at minimum to 75 GB at high settings, with DirectX 12 and Windows 10/11 64-bit required across all tiers.
Developers Krafton have also released a YouTube video that provides you with a glimpse of what your game will look like on at each optimal settings tier.
The video above runs through multiple gameplay scenarios that you’ll encounter, such as your Zois interacting with other Zois, performing actions, and a bird’s eye view.
There aren’t any extreme differences in quality between the higher tiers, but for those looking to jump between minimum and medium settings (which is a large portion of Steam users according to the Feb. 2025 Steam Hardware and Software Survey), there are some pretty apparent differences.
Could my current PC handle the next-gen visuals of inZoi
To determine if your current PC can handle the next-gen visuals of inZOI, compare your system specs to the game’s requirements:
Minimum requirements (to run the game at basic settings):
-
CPU: Intel Core i5-10400 or AMD Ryzen 5 3600
-
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 or AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT (6GB VRAM)
-
RAM: 12 GB
-
OS: Windows 10/11 64-bit
-
Storage: 40-60 GB available space
-
DirectX 12 and broadband internet required
Recommended requirements (for a smooth, immersive experience):
-
CPU: Intel Core i7-12700 or AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D
-
GPU: NVIDIA RTX 3070 Ti or AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT
-
RAM: 16 GB
-
OS: Windows 10/11 64-bit
-
Storage: 60-75 GB available space
Ultra settings (for the highest visual fidelity):
-
CPU: Intel i7-14700K or Ryzen 7 9800X3D
-
GPU: NVIDIA RTX 4080 or AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX
-
RAM: 32 GB
-
Storage: 75 GB or more
If your PC meets or exceeds the minimum specs, you can run inZOI but may face lower frame rates and reduced visual quality. Meeting the recommended specs will provide a better, smoother experience. Ultra settings require a high-end gaming rig.
If your PC is older or has a weaker GPU than an RTX 2060 or RX 5600 XT, you will likely need to upgrade components to enjoy inZOI’s advanced graphics and complex simulations. You can also check your system against online benchmark tools for a precise assessment.
Is my GPU powerful enough for ultra settings in inZoi
To run inZOI at ultra settings with next-gen visuals, your GPU needs to be very powerful. The official high-end requirements specify an NVIDIA RTX 4080 or AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX GPU to handle ultra settings smoothly, especially at 4K resolution with ray tracing enabled.
If your GPU is at or above the RTX 4080 level, it is powerful enough for ultra settings. GPUs like the RTX 3070 Ti or Radeon RX 6800 XT are recommended but fall short of the ultra tier, so they may require lowering some settings for smooth gameplay.
Performance tests show that ultra settings at 4K can use up to 10-12 GB of VRAM, and the game is heavily GPU-bound, meaning the graphics card is the main factor for frame rates. High-end GPUs like the RTX 4080 or better can deliver 60+ FPS at 4K ultra settings, while lower-tier GPUs will struggle or need compromises.
In summary, unless your GPU is an RTX 4080, Radeon RX 7900 XTX, or better, it is unlikely to be powerful enough for inZOI ultra settings at high resolutions without performance drops.
