Josiu Shrine location

Josiu Shrine is located in the South Hyrule Sky Archipelago at coordinates (-2085, -3367, 0721). To reach it, travel to the Popla Foothills Skyview Tower in the Faron region and use it to launch into the sky. Glide northwest toward the floating islands, using zonai devices or platforms to bridge the gaps. The shrine sits on a small floating structure overlooking the clouds, making it accessible only by careful gliding or constructing a flying vehicle.

Josiu Shrine is located above Kakariko Village on a sky island at the coordinates (1759,-1208, 0924). It’s a Rauru’s Blessing shrine, which means the puzzle is outside of the shrine – you’ll need to move a crystal to open the shrine itself.

To reach Josiu Shrine, launch from the Sahasra Slope Skyview Tower and glide over to the sky islands above Kakariko Village.

Josiu Shrine walkthrough

Josiu Shrine challenges players with a puzzle focused on manipulating spheres and rails. Use Recall to send the sphere back along the track, then attach it correctly to reach the target. Precise timing is the key to completing each section, as the structure’s mechanism resets quickly. After activating the final switch, a clear path opens leading to the Light of Blessing.

Finding Josiu Shrine is part of “The North Necluda Sky Crystal” shrine quest, where you’ll have to find the glowing green crystal nearby and return it to the shrine. The crystal is located in the southernmost sky island in the North Necluda Sky Archipelago. Moving the crystal to Josiu Shrine itself is the main part of the puzzle.

1. Moving the North Necluda Sky Crystal from its starting point requires manipulating a stone arch bridge that can be rotated to connect various islands, then using the Recall ability to rewind time.

2. To reach the southernmost sky island from the island where Josiu Shrine is located, you’ll need to use the bridge remote control device. Rotate the bridge counter-clockwise so that the bridge connects the island to the left with the island where Link is standing.

3. Step onto the bridge, turn around, and use Recall on the remote control device. The bridge will reverse its movement, letting Link access the island with the sky crystal.

4. Pick up the crystal, and move it to the other island (or leave it on the bridge). Lugging it around will slow Link’s movement; using Ultrahand to move the sky crystal will speed things up.

5. Work your way back to the island where Josiu Shrine and the bridge remote control device are. Use the device to rotate the bridge counter-clockwise again, giving Link a path to carry the sky crystal to Josiu Shrine. This will complete “The North Necluda Sky Crystal” shrine quest.

How to reach Sahasra Slope Skyview Tower fast travel point

Sahasra Slope Skyview Tower serves as a key fast travel point in West Necluda, southeast of Central Hyrule and near Kakariko Village, at coordinates 1341, -1176, 0166. The main entrance is blocked by jammed doors, so access requires entering the nearby Sahasra Slope Cave. Once activated, it reveals the Necluda region map and enables fast travel.โ€‹

Tower Location

The tower sits atop a rocky plateau north of West Necluda. Travel east from Hyrule Field across a bridge or southeast from Central Hyrule to reach its base easily on foot. An NPC named Billson stands outside, hinting at the cave below for entry.โ€‹

Activation Walkthrough

Enter Sahasra Slope Cave at 1329, -1162, 0138 by breaking rocks at the entrance. Fuse rocks to sticks inside and break through walls, turning right into a hidden room with three white stones at 1338, -1182, 0132. Stand beneath the green-highlighted ceiling grid and use Ascend to phase into the tower above.โ€‹โ€‹

Unlocking the Door

Inside the tower, use Ultrahand to remove two long sticks propping the doors shut. Exit, speak to Billson to repair the terminal, then activate it to unlock fast travel. A chest in the cave may contain extra loot if explored fully.โ€‹

Best route from Kakariko Village to Sahasra Slope Tower

The best route from Kakariko Village to Sahasra Slope Skyview Tower runs east along the main road through West Necluda, covering roughly 1,000 units in under 10 minutes on foot or horse. Follow the path past the Makasura Shrine overlook, veer slightly southeast across grassy hills, and cross a small river bridge before climbing the final slope to the tower base at coordinates 1344, -1170, 0166.โ€‹

Route Steps

  • Exit Kakariko’s east gate and stick to the wide dirt road heading east-northeast toward the hills.

  • Pass any roadside shrines or Addison billboards; ignore side paths south to Popla Foothills.

  • Curve right at the river bridge (around 0900, -1100), then ascend the rocky plateau directly ahead.โ€‹

Tips and Hazards

Watch for a roaming Battle Talus near the tower’s base-stay on roads or glide from higher ground to avoid it. Horses from Kakariko’s stable speed up travel; paragliding shortcuts work from nearby cliffs if unlocked. Billson waits at the tower for activation help.โ€‹
