Pokémon Go ’Dazzling Dream’ event 7 km eggs

During the Pokémon Go “Dazzling Dream” event, players can hatch special Fairy-type Pokémon from 7 km Eggs. The Pokémon available from these eggs include Togepi, Spritzee, Swirlix, and Cutiefly, with Cutiefly having an increased chance of being shiny compared to wild encounters. Hatching these Pokémon is part of the event’s Hatch Challenge, which rewards players with 10,000 Stardust, 30,000 XP, and an encounter with Carbink upon completion. To maximize chances of hatching all required Pokémon within the event’s limited timeframe, it is recommended to clear old eggs, stock up on fresh 7 km Eggs, and use Super Incubators to hatch eggs faster.

How will the debut of shiny Cutiefly change my Pokémon collection

The debut of shiny Cutiefly in Pokémon GO’s Dazzling Dream event adds a charming and visually distinct Pokémon to your collection, featuring a striking pink coloration with a red scarf-like accent that sets it apart from its regular yellow form. This shiny variant not only enhances the aesthetic appeal of your Fairy-type roster but also marks the first time shiny Cutiefly is available in the game, making it a coveted addition for collectors and enthusiasts alike. While Cutiefly and its evolution Ribombee do not impact competitive play significantly, their adorable appearance and rarity during the event provide a fresh incentive to explore and complete your Pokédex with this unique shiny form.

How rare is the shiny Cutiefly compared to other shinies in Pokémon GO

Shiny Cutiefly in Pokémon GO has a typical shiny encounter rate of about 1 in 500, which is standard for most wild Pokémon without any special shiny boosts. Unlike some event or raid-exclusive Pokémon that can have higher shiny rates-sometimes around 1 in 64 or even 1 in 20 for legendaries-Cutiefly does not receive a “permaboost” or increased shiny rate during the Dazzling Dream event, making its shiny form relatively rare but not exceptionally so compared to other shinies. This means shiny Cutiefly is a rare find but aligns with the usual odds trainers expect for wild shiny encounters in Pokémon GO.
