Vampire Survivors Gallo Tower Coffin Location Find Concetta Guide

Guides

Hidden within the towering halls of Gallo Tower lies a mysterious coffin holding a powerful ally-but reaching it isn’t as simple as following the arrow. Traps, enemies, and hidden paths stand between you and one of Vampire Survivors’ best-kept secrets.

In this Vampire Survivors guide, we’ll teach you how to find and open the Gallo Tower coffin to rescue Concetta.

First, you’ll need to follow all the steps highlighted in our coffin guide: Collect the Milky Way Map to unlock the pause map, start a run on Gallo Tower, and follow the arrow toward the question mark on the map.

Once you’ve arrived at the question mark, you’ll notice that there is no coffin in Gallo Tower – or at least not one that you can see. Go up and down the tower around the question mark until you reach a floor that has a mirror on the left and a fireplace on the right. If you take a close look at the mirror, you should see that it’s glowing (as seen in the image above). Walk into it.

You should now be in a small room. Walk down to find the coffin. Defeat the enemies that guard it and then pop the lid open by walking over it. You’ll rescue Concetta, giving you the ability to unlock her character via gold back in the main menu. Walk out the mirror in the special room and you’ll be back in the main area of Gallo Tower.

What are Concetta Caciotta’s best weapons and builds

Concetta’s strongest builds lean into her infinite Area scaling and the unique playstyle of Shadow Pinion โ†’ Valkyrie Turner.

How Concetta works

  • Passive: Gains +1% Area every level with no cap, so anything that benefits from Area becomes very strong on her.

  • Starting weapon: Shadow Pinion (drops drills behind you while moving, fires them in a burst when you stop and face a direction), which evolves into Valkyrie Turner with Wings.

  • Playstyle: You “draw” paths with your movement, then stop briefly to fire a focused wall of damage where you are facing.โ€‹โ€‹

Core weapon and evolution

  • Shadow Pinion is her signature weapon; it feels awkward at first but has very high damage and control once mastered.โ€‹โ€‹

  • Evolution: Get Shadow Pinion to level 8 and pick up Wings; then open a chest to evolve into Valkyrie Turner, a continuous rotating drill aura that scales extremely well with Area.

  • Shadow Pinion scales with: Empty Tome, Bracer, Candelabrador, Spellbinder, Spinach, Duplicator, and Wings, so these items are excellent on her.โ€‹

Best general build (high-Area caster)

Focus on strong Area-based AoE to exploit her passive.

Suggested weapons:

  • Shadow Pinion โ†’ Valkyrie Turner (core damage and control).

  • Santa Water โ†’ La Borra, great zone control that scales hard with Area.

  • Song of Mana โ†’ Mannajja or Garlic โ†’ Soul Eater for vertical/horizontal lane clearing that benefits hugely from Area.

  • Lightning Ring โ†’ Thunder Loop, scales with Area and helps clear off-screen threats.โ€‹โ€‹

  • Optional: King Bible โ†’ Unholy Vespers or similar orbiting weapon to add layered protection around you.

Suggested passives:

  • Candelabrador (more Area, core for her passive).

  • Spinach, Empty Tome, Spellbinder, Bracer, Duplicator (all explicitly synergize with Shadow Pinion and help her AoE kit).

  • Wings (needed to evolve Shadow Pinion, also makes positioning for her drills easier).

If you use Arcanas, Boogaloo of Illusions further boosts Area over time and stacks extremely well with her innate scaling.โ€‹

Shadow Pinion-focused micro build

If you enjoy active aiming and movement, you can build almost entirely around Shadow Pinion.

Key ideas:

  • Keep Shadow Pinion as a primary damage source, evolve to Valkyrie Turner as early as possible, and limit other weapons to ones that do not disrupt your movement patterns (avoid movement-dependent ones like Vento Sacro).

  • Take support weapons that work passively while you focus on drawing lines and circles with Pinion (e.g., Santa Water, Lightning Ring, a single orbiting weapon).

  • Movement patterns:

    • For single targets: walk straight away from them to lay drills, turn and stop to send a concentrated burst.โ€‹

    • For crowds: move in circles or S-shapes to create overlapping drill fields, then stop to clear a whole side of the screen.โ€‹โ€‹

How to unlock Concetta Caciotta permanently

Concetta Caciotta becomes permanently available once you both unlock her via the coffin event in Gallo Tower and then purchase her on the character select screen.

Step 1: Trigger her unlock event

  1. Unlock and start a run on Gallo Tower (Stage 4).

  2. Progress upward until you reach the area where her coffin is located (on the map this appears as a coffin icon or question mark, and is actually in a hidden room reached through a glowing mirror on the left wall).

  3. Go through the glowing mirror to enter the secret room with her coffin, then defeat all the enemies guarding it.โ€‹

  4. After all guardians die, walk onto the coffin; a message will pop up indicating Concetta has been unlocked.โ€‹

Step 2: Make the unlock permanent

  1. End or quit the run (you don’t need to survive to 30 minutes once the coffin event is done).โ€‹โ€‹

  2. From the main menu, open the character select screen; Concetta will now appear there as a recruitable character.

  3. Spend the required gold (typically around 2,800 coins in the versions documented) to buy her; once purchased, she is permanently unlocked for all future runs on your save.

If you like, I can also outline how to quickly farm the gold you need to buy her.
