How can I maximize my rewards during Pokémon Go’s Strength of Steel event
To maximize your rewards during Pokémon GO’s Strength of Steel event, focus on the following strategies:
-
Take full advantage of the 3x Catch Stardust bonus by catching as many Steel-type Pokémon as possible, especially weather-boosted and evolved ones, to maximize Stardust gains.
-
Use a Mega Evolved Steel-type Pokémon at Mega Level 3 (such as Mega Steelix, Mega Scizor, or Mega Aggron) during catches to increase the amount of Candy, Candy XL, and XP earned per catch.
-
Aim for nice, great, or excellent throws to further boost Candy XL rewards, as the event significantly increases XL candy drops, especially with perfect throws.
-
Complete event Field Research tasks and Timed Research that reward Mega Energy, Stardust, Candy, and encounters with rare Steel-type Pokémon like shiny Togedemaru.
-
Use items and Adventure Sync bonuses that extend the duration or radius of encounters, such as the Roar of Time or Spatial Awareness Adventure Effects, to catch more Pokémon efficiently.
-
Power up low-level Steel-type Pokémon multiple times to complete power-up research tasks cost-effectively, gaining additional rewards and Candy XL.
-
Participate in Steel-type raids to obtain Mega Energy and rare Pokémon, including shiny variants, which complement the event’s goals.
By combining these tactics-catching extensively with Mega Steel Pokémon, focusing on throw quality, completing research, and raiding-you’ll maximize Stardust, Candy XL, Mega Energy, and exclusive rewards throughout the Strength of Steel event.

Complete event Field Research tasks and Timed Research that reward Stardust and encounters with boosted Pokémon to add to your total.
-
Use weather-boosted Steel Pokémon spawns, as these yield 1.25x more Stardust per catch.
-
