Nokron entrance location

To enter Nokron, Eternal City in Elden Ring, you must first defeat the boss Starscourge Radahn at Redmane Castle in Caelid. After Radahn’s defeat, a meteorite crashes in Limgrave, creating a large crater called Starfall Crater, which serves as the entrance to Nokron. This crater is located south of the Mistwood and west of Fort Haight in Limgrave. You can descend into Nokron by carefully dropping down from the northern edge of Starfall Crater, following the right-hand path down through several platforms until reaching the ruins of the city below.

To get into Nokron, you must first defeat Starscourge Radahn, a powerful boss located by Redmane Castle in Caelid. Once slain, Radahn’s control over the stars will wane, allowing a meteor to crash land in eastern Limgrave.

Approach the crash site, marked by a red icon on your map, from the northwest to find a path leading to the large crater.

Follow the path on the right and drop onto the rocks below until you spot an opening in the rock face. Continue through the entryway and make your way to the doorway below to enter Nokron, Eternal City.

Nokron, Eternal City Grace

The Nokron, Eternal City Grace is a key checkpoint you’ll find soon after entering the main ruins of Nokron, Eternal City. After descending into the city via the Starfall Crater, make your way through the outskirts, past Fallen Hawks Soldiers and various valuable items. Once you reach the open area with the pavilion, look for the Site of Grace called “Nokron, Eternal City”-activating it marks your arrival at the heart of the city and provides a safe spot to rest and manage your progress before exploring deeper into Nokron’s mysterious underground expanse.

As you enter Nokron, you’ll be greeted with a large cavern full of gothic architecture. Drop down onto the roof below and take notice of the square platform to the right. This can be a tricky jump, so brace yourself. Sprint along the thin rooftop and quickly jump to the right to land on the platform. Continue along the path where you’ll encounter another jump to a different building. Collect the loot off of the corpse here to receive the Ghostflame Torch.

Proceed to the eastern edge to spot three silver tears, a slime-like enemy, on the roof below. Defeat the silver tears and loot the corpses to find a rune arc. Continue down the rooftops to find another silver tear. Turn left to find two more silver tears and a corpse with 10 burred bolts.

Turn back to where you came from to spot the fallen building. Drop down to the building, defeat the silver tears, and collect the golden rune (6) and nascent butterflies off of the two corpses. Hop over to the adjacent building and progress forward to find an open window.

On the top floor, grab the smithing stone (5) and furlcalling finger remedy off of the bodies. Drop down to the next floor and turn around to find a golden rune (6). On the other side of the room, you’ll find a ghost glovewort (3). Head into the next room to find the Nokron, Eternal City Grace.

Mimic Tear Grace

The Mimic Tear Grace is a key checkpoint in Nokron, Eternal City, located just after defeating the Mimic Tear boss. This Site of Grace allows you to rest, manage your equipment, and serves as a convenient fast travel point for exploring deeper into the city. Activating the Mimic Tear Grace marks your progress and provides a safe spot before tackling the next challenges in Nokron.

Proceed out of the doorway, down the stairs, and into the open area with the gazebo. To progress deeper into Nokron, you’ll want to head down the stairs behind the gazebo, but before you do that, search the surrounding area for some key items. In the area around the gazebo, you’ll find the Ghost-Glovewort Picker’s Bell Bearing (1), a smithing stone (4), a smithing stone (5), ghost glovewort (3), and a ghost glovewort (4). In the building beside the stairs, defeat the two enemies inside and collect the larval tear. In the graveyards to the right of the stairs, you’ll find the Greatshield Solder Ashes and two ghost glovewort (3).

After you’ve received your items, head down the stairs and continue along the path to find a corpse with a golden rune (7)Ahead of you is a classic boss door that leads to the Mimic Tear.

The Mimic Tear will do exactly what its name says – mimic your character. It will equip whatever you have equipped when you enter the fog door. An easier way to defeat the Mimic Tear is to enter the area with nothing equipped and reequip all of your equipment after the boss spawns. Once defeated, you’ll receive two larval tears, the Silver Tear Mask, and the Mimic Tear Grace.

Regal Ancestor Spirit pillar locations

To unlock the Regal Ancestor Spirit boss fight in Nokron, Eternal City, you must light six flame pillars scattered throughout the Ancestral Woods and surrounding areas. The pillars are generally found along the main paths and near landmarks: one is near the cliff’s edge by the broken bridge from the Mimic Tear Site of Grace, another is due east of the Ancestral Woods Site of Grace, and others are located near singing Ancestral Shamans, behind large rocks, and close to submerged ruins guarded by rats and shamans. Once all six pillars are lit, head to the Hallowhorn Grounds at the eastern end of the Ancestral Woods. There, interact with the glowing stag carcass to be transported into the Regal Ancestor Spirit’s arena.

Go up the stairs and continue along the bridge to find a somber scarab, dropping a somber smithing stone (5), a golden rune (4), and a ghost glovewort (3). Cross the bridge until you reach an open area on your left.

In this region, six pillars need to be lit to unlock the Regal Ancestral Spirit boss.

As soon as you enter the area, you’ll spot the firstand second pillars. Light these two pillars and hug the wall on your left to find the Ancestral Woods Grace.

Continue northwest along the wall and loot the somber smithing stone (5) off of the corpse in the shallow water.

Start heading north to find the third pillar beside a large stone column, but be wary as there is a lesser red wolf of Radagon lurking around the area.

Continue north to find a teardrop scarab that drops the Ash of War: Enchanted Shot. Proceed north to the cliffside for the fourth pillar, which is surrounded by giant rats.

Before you head to the next pillar, turn to the west to spot an overgrown ruin. Hop onto Torrent, jump over to the pillar ahead of you, and drop to the floor below to collect the ghost glovewort (5) and the golden rune (12).

Travel over to the northern wall and get onto the slanted wall. Make your way to the top, cross the platform, and hop onto the stone brazier before landing on the bridge. Inside the room, you’ll find an ancestral follower guarding a chest that contains an Ancestral Infant’s Head. There isn’t a conventional method of returning to the previous area, so instead you’ll need to teleport to the Mimic Tear Grace and cross the bridge again.

Instead of exiting the bridge at the initial point, continue until the end of the bridge to find the fifth pillar on your left. Pass the staircase with the lit pillars, and go southeast to find the fifth pillar surrounded by three ancestral followers. Continue southeast until you reach the initial bridge you crossed to light the sixth and final pillar.

In between the fifth and sixth pillars, you’ll find a staircase with six lit pillars leading to the Hallowhorn Grounds. At the opposite end, you can interact with the animal remains to encounter the Regal Ancestral Spirit boss, which, upon defeat, rewards you with 24,000 runes and the Remembrance of the Regal Ancestor.

Make your way across the rooftops, hopping over gaps and ledges until you find a building with a corpse holding rejuvenating boluses. Continue along the ledge, turn right, and jump over to another building. Head up the stairs to find a rune arc, then turn left and prepare for another rooftop jump. Progress through these ruins, watching out for Silver Tear enemies along the way, and eventually you’ll enter the main area of Night’s Sacred Ground, where you can collect valuable items needed for Ranni’s questline, including the Fingerslayer Blade. Teleport to the Ancestral Woods grace and jump over to the rooftop ahead. Continue to the edge of the rooftop and hop across to the ledge. Turn right and follow the ledge to where you’ll need to jump over to the building with a corpse that contains rejuvenating boluses. Hop onto the dome-shaped roof and then over to the next building to encounter two silver tears. Turn the corner and collect the silver tear husks and a golden rune (7) off of the corpses. Continue along the path, cross over the damaged walkway, and enter either of the two windows ahead. Drop into the building and head up the stairs to grab the Black Whetblade off the corpse. Hug the left wall to find an imp seal, which you’ll need a stonesword key to unlock. Defeat the Nox swordstress inside and collect the smithing stone (3) and the Mimic Tear Ashes from the chest.

Immediately after you exit the room, turn left and exit the left-most window. Jump across to the slanted rooftop and make your way through the open window on your right. Immediately inside, you’ll come across a corpse with the Nox Flowing Hammer. If you’re using a ranged build, feel free to take out the enemies below. If not, get ready to drop down, but be aware: the large silver sphere in the middle of the room is an enemy. After they’ve been slain, collect the larval tear from the silver sphere and exit the building through the large doorway.

Go to the Night’s Sacred Ground Grace on your left and rest if needed. Heading northeast, defeat the enemies and loot the corpses to receive a celestial dew and a golden rune (7). However, be warned that the last silver tear will turn into a troll. At the top of the stairs, enter the room beneath the enormous skeleton and open the chest to receive the Fingerslayer Blade and a great ghost glovewort. Take the waygate beside the entrance to return to the Ancestral Woods Grace.

Siofra Aqueduct walkthrough

To reach the Siofra Aqueduct in Nokron, Eternal City, start from the Mimic Tear site of grace and follow the stone bridge until you can drop down onto land via a broken section on the left. Head north toward the cliffs behind the Hallowhorn Grounds, where you’ll spot several Spirit Jellyfish-this marks the right path. Drop down the cliff edge and follow the slope into a tunnel leading to the Aqueduct proper. Inside, you’ll encounter tough enemies, including two Lesser Crucible Knights-one patrolling and one standing near a drop. Use the narrow space to your advantage or try to bait them off the ledges. Progressing through the area leads to the Valiant Gargoyle boss fight; after defeating them, unlock the Great Waterfall Basin site of grace and use the nearby coffin to access Deeproot Depths.

Jump on your trusty steed, Torrent, and head northeast past the pillar and the jellyfish to the cliff’s edge. Before dropping onto the ledge, turn around to find a path leading to the top of the Hallowhorn Grounds. Head over to the corpse to collect the Mottled Necklace 1. Return to the cliff, jump down below, and move into the cave to unlock the Aqueduct-Facing Cliffs Grace.

Continue through the cave until it opens to reveal a tower-like structure. Jump from the cave to the slanted column, then drop into the building. A Lesser Crucible Knight will patrol between two of the buildings. Collect the Crucible Hornshield off the defeated Crucible knight, and cross the bridge leading to the southwestern building. Grab the Missionary’s Cookbook 5 from the corpse, and return to the initial structure.

Move northeast to spot another Lesser Crucible Knight on the edge of the aqueduct, and defeat this one to receive a somber smithing stone (6). Collect the smithing stone (5) off the corpse, and continue through the doorway nearby. Head down the stairs on your right and into the structure ahead to find a Tear Scarab that gives you the Order Healingincantation. On the outskirts of this structure, you’ll find a golden rune (13) and a golden rune (7) from two corpses.

Return to the location of the second Lesser Crucible Knight and head north to collect a golden rune (6). Turn into the room on your left, defeat the Fallen Hawk soldiers, and loot the rune arc inside. Go straight to the other side of the aqueduct to find an important NPC for Fia’s questline.

Up the stairs to the left of D’s twin brother (who is also named D), there is a fog wall that leads to the Valiant Gargoyles boss. Once defeated, you’ll receive 30,000 runes, Gargoyle’s Greatsword, and Gargoyle’s Twinblade. You’ll also unlock a method to travel to the Deeproot Depths through the coffin at the edge of the waterfall.

Now that you’ve explored the entirety of Nokron, the Eternal City, you’re ready to either dive into the Deeproot Depths to continue Fia’s questline, or now you have the Fingerslayer Blade, resuming Ranni’s quest.

What secrets does Nokron, Eternal City hide beneath its ruins

Nokron, Eternal City conceals several major secrets beneath its ruined streets and star-lit sky. Most notably, it is the resting place of the Fingerslayer Blade, a key item for Ranni the Witch’s questline, hidden in a chest beneath the massive skeleton on its throne. The city also guards the formidable Mimic Tear boss, which mirrors your own abilities and drops valuable items like the Silver Tear Mask and Larval Tears upon defeat.

Explorers will discover the Hallowhorn Grounds, where lighting six altars summons the Regal Ancestor Spirit, yielding its Remembrance as a reward. Scattered throughout Nokron are rare upgrade materials, unique ashes, and hidden rooms-such as one behind a waterfall guarded by Fallen Hawks Soldiers-offering further treasures and lore. The city’s haunting beauty and its punishment for treason against the Greater Will add layers of mystery, with environmental storytelling hinting at a tragic history and connections to the demigods of Elden Ring.

What is the significance of the Fingerslayer Blade hidden in Nokron

The Fingerslayer Blade is a key item hidden in Nokron, Eternal City, and is central to both the lore and progression of Elden Ring’s narrative. Its significance is multifaceted:

  • Proof of High Treason and Downfall: The blade is described as the “hidden treasure of the Eternal City of Nokron,” born of a corpse and drenched in blood. It serves as evidence of the high treason committed by the Eternal City’s inhabitants, the Nox, and symbolizes their ultimate downfall and banishment underground by the Greater Will.

  • Power Against the Greater Will: Lore suggests the Fingerslayer Blade was created with the intent to harm the Greater Will and its vassals-cosmic entities that govern the fate of the Lands Between. This ambition to challenge the divine order is what led to the Nox’s punishment.

  • Essential for Ranni’s Questline: In gameplay, the blade’s only use is to be delivered to Ranni the Witch, fulfilling her request for Nokron’s hidden treasure. Doing so advances her questline and rewards the player with the Carian Inverted Statue, unlocking further secrets and areas.

  • Symbolic Connection to Other Legendary Weapons: The Fingerslayer Blade shares visual and thematic similarities with other lore-significant weapons, such as the Black Knife and Sacred Relic Sword, suggesting a broader connection to the events that shaped the world, including the death of demigods and the shattering of the Elden Ring.

In summary, the Fingerslayer Blade is both a narrative linchpin and a symbol of rebellion against cosmic authority, representing the Nox’s failed attempt to reshape destiny and the heavy cost of their defiance.
