Snacksworth Legendary Pokémon Locations in Pokémon Scarlet Violet Indigo Disk DLC

Guides

After conquering the mysteries of The Indigo Disk DLC in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, a new challenge awaits: tracking down 25 legendary Pokémon scattered across Paldea. Meet Snackworth, a quirky figure at Blueberry Academy who rewards your questing with special treats that summon these rare legends. But beware-unlocking them requires dedication through countless Blueberry Quests, and each legendary lurks in unique, often hidden locations. Ready your Poké Balls and prepare for a legendary hunt like no other.

Note that Snackworth doesn’t grant you access to every Legendary in the series. Some Pokémon – like Mewtwo, Dialga, and Palkia – have been made available via special Tera Raid events and therefore can’t be obtained via Snackworth. If you’re seeking out a pre-Paldea Legendary that isn’t in this guide, you’ll probably have to wait around for an event.

Below, we explain how Snackworth works, how to get Legendary candy, and where to find every Snackworth Legendary Pokémon location in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.

How Snackworth works in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

Snackworth is an NPC introduced in the Indigo Disk DLC of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, located outside the entrance of Blueberry Academy. After completing the main story of the DLC, players can earn special treats from Snackworth by completing Blueberry Quests (BBQs). For every 10 solo quests or 1 group quest completed, Snackworth rewards players with a treat that corresponds to a Legendary Pokémon. These treats summon Legendary Pokémon scattered throughout the Paldea region, with hints provided by Snackworth to help locate them. The available Legendary Pokémon vary by game version and quest type, and some can only be unlocked through group quests. Players must complete a combination of solo and group quests-up to 130 in total-to collect all of Snackworth’s Legendary Pokémon. Notably, some Legendaries like Mewtwo, Dialga, and Palkia are only obtainable through special Tera Raid events and not via Snackworth. All these Legendaries are shiny locked, so shiny hunting through resets is not effective.

After the credits roll for The Indigo Disk, you’ll be told that there’s a man in a suit looking for you at the entrance to Blueberry Academy. He’s to the right, if you’re facing the gate to enter the school.

He’s a huge fan of BBQs (Blueberry quests) and will give you a treat to bring out a Legendary Pokémon depending on how many you’ve done. For every 10 solo quests you do, he’ll give you a random treat from your game’s Legendary pool (more on that below). For every single group quest you do in multiplayer, he’ll give you a random treat from a different pool of Legendary Pokémon.

To get every Legendary, you’ll need to do at least 130 solo quests and 12 group quests. While it is very easy to do this using Nintendo Switch Online, you can also do it locally with friends if you don’t have an online subscription.

Pokémon Scarlet and Violet Snackworth version ’exclusives’

In Pokémon Scarlet and Violet’s Indigo Disk DLC, the character Snackworth offers players the chance to catch 25 returning Legendary Pokémon from previous generations by completing Blueberry Quests. These quests are divided into solo and group types, with the version of the game determining which Legendaries are rewarded through each quest type. For instance, Pokémon Scarlet players receive certain Legendaries like Raikou, Entei, and Reshiram from solo quests, while Violet players obtain these from group quests, and vice versa for others such as Lugia, Latias, and Zekrom. Both versions share access to some Legendaries like Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, and Kubfu through solo quests. Despite being called “exclusives,” these Pokémon are not strictly version-exclusive but differ in how they are acquired depending on the game version. Some notable Legendaries like Mewtwo, Dialga, and Palkia are not available through Snackworth and require special Tera Raid events. Overall, players must complete a combination of solo and group quests to collect all Snackworth Legendary Pokémon in the DLC.

We put “exclusives” in quotes for a reason, because they’re not really version exclusive. Depending on the version of the game you have, you will have different Pokémon as rewards for solo or group quests.

Pokémon Scarlet owners will get the following Legendaries from solo quests, and Pokémon Violet owners will get them from group quests:

  • Raikou
  • Entei
  • Suicune
  • Ho-Oh
  • Latios
  • Groudon
  • Reshiram
  • Solgaleo
  • Glastrier

Pokémon Violet owners will get the following Legendaries from solo quests, and Pokémon Scarlet owners will get them from group quests:

  • Lugia
  • Latias
  • Kyogre
  • Cobalion
  • Terrakion
  • Virizion
  • Zekrom
  • Lunala
  • Spectrier

Owners of either versions can get Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres and Kubfu from solo quests and Rayquaza, Kyurem, and Necrozma from group quests.

Pokémon Scarlet and Violet Snackworth Legendary Pokémon locations

After completing the main story of The Indigo Disk DLC in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, players can find Snacksworth, a man in a suit located just beside the entrance to Blueberry Academy. By completing Blueberry Quests (BBQs), players earn special legendary Pokémon snacks from Snacksworth every 10 BBQs, up to a total of 130. Each snack corresponds to a specific legacy Legendary Pokémon that then appears somewhere in the Paldea region, with Snacksworth providing clues to their locations. These Legendary Pokémon, which include fan favorites like Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, Raikou, Entei, Suicune, and others, do not register in the Paldea Pokédex but can be transferred to Pokémon Home. Some Legendaries, such as Rayquaza, Kyurem, and Necrozma, only appear after completing enough group BBQ missions. The snacks and resulting Legendaries are given in a random order and can include version exclusives, making multiplayer BBQs helpful for collecting all of them.

After getting the respective candy for the Legendary Pokémon, you can find them in Paldea. Snackworth will give you hints as to where to find them, but if you don’t feel like solving riddles, here they all are. We’ve put them in order by Pokédex number (and thus they’re organized by game and region as well).

Note that all of these Pokémon are shiny locked, meaning you cannot get it shiny, so don’t bother resetting your game to try.

How can Snackworth help me find all Legendary Pokémon in Scarlet and Violet

Snackworth helps you find all Legendary Pokémon in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet’s Indigo Disk DLC by rewarding you with special treats after completing Blueberry Quests (BBQs). For every 10 solo quests completed, or for each group quest finished in multiplayer, Snackworth gives you a treat that corresponds to a Legendary Pokémon. These treats summon the Legendary Pokémon at specific locations across Paldea, with Snackworth providing hints to their whereabouts.

To unlock all 25 Snackworth Legendary Pokémon, you must complete a combination of up to 130 solo and group quests. Multiplayer (local or online) is essential to access some Legendaries exclusive to group quests, such as Rayquaza, Kyurem, and Necrozma. The treats are given in a random order and vary depending on your game version, but playing multiplayer helps you obtain treats for Legendaries not normally available in your version.

Once you have a treat, you can track down and catch the corresponding Legendary Pokémon in Paldea, though all are shiny-locked. Snackworth’s role is crucial as the gateway to unlocking and locating these returning Legendaries after finishing The Indigo Disk story.

How does completing Blueberry Quests unlock Legendary Pokémon with Snackworth

Completing Blueberry Quests (BBQs) in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet’s Indigo Disk DLC unlocks Legendary Pokémon through Snackworth by rewarding you with special treats. Specifically, for every 10 solo Blueberry Quests you complete, or for each group quest finished in multiplayer, Snackworth gives you a Legendary-themed treat at random. These treats appear in your Key Items pocket and summon their corresponding Legendary Pokémon at specific locations in Paldea. Snackworth also provides hints to help you find where each Legendary will appear. The pool of possible Legendary treats differs between solo and group quests, with group quests granting access to some Legendaries exclusive to multiplayer or the other game version. This system encourages completing up to 130 quests to unlock all 25 Legendary Pokémon available through Snackworth.
