Destiny 2 Warlord’s Ruin dungeon loot table

The Warlord’s Ruin dungeon in Destiny 2 offers a diverse loot table spread across its three main encounters, featuring both powerful weapons and unique armor sets. Players can earn four Legendary weapons-Vengeful Whisper (Kinetic Bow), Dragoncult Sickle (Strand Sword), Naeem’s Lance (Strand Sniper Rifle), and Indebted Kindness (Arc Sidearm)-alongside the Exotic Buried Bloodline (Void Sidearm), which drops from the final boss. Each encounter has its own specific loot pool, with early encounters focusing on select weapons and armor pieces, while the final boss offers the full range, including the coveted Exotic. Completing the dungeon also rewards players with the Dark Age armor set, available for all classes, and additional cosmetic items like an Exotic Ghost and emblems, making Warlord’s Ruin a highly rewarding activity for those seeking to expand their arsenal and collection.

Blueberries.gg, known for their fast and accurate loot tables, has assembled this one for the Warlord’s Ruin dungeon. Any of these items, minus the Buried Bloodline Exotic, can be earned from the secret chests once you acquire them from an encounter.

Naeem’s Lance

Naeem’s Lance is a Strand sniper rifle available as a Legendary weapon in Destiny 2’s Warlord’s Ruin dungeon. It can be obtained from both the second encounter, Locus of Wailing Grief, and the final boss encounter, Hefnd’s Vengeance. Like other dungeon weapons, Naeem’s Lance features the unique Sundering Origin Trait, which grants bonus reload speed and charge rate after destroying vehicles or constructs. This makes it a versatile choice for players seeking a powerful Strand sniper with dungeon-specific perks. Naeem’s Lance drops alongside other coveted loot, so repeated clears of these encounters increase your chances of adding this weapon to your arsenal.

Like other Warlord’s Ruin weapons, Indebted Kindness features the unique dungeon-specific Origin Trait, Sundering, which boosts reload speed and charge rate after destroying vehicles or constructs. As with all Warlord’s Ruin weapons, Vengeful Whisper comes with the unique dungeon-specific Origin Trait, Sundering, which grants bonus reload speed and charge rate after destroying vehicles and constructs. Dragoncul Sickle

The Dragoncult Sickle is a Legendary Strand Caster Frame sword introduced in Destiny 2’s Warlord’s Ruin dungeon during Season of the Wish. This unique weapon stands out as only the second Strand sword in the game and offers a ranged playstyle-its Caster Frame allows you to launch heavy projectile attacks from a distance, making it ideal for players who prefer not to engage enemies up close. The Dragoncult Sickle can drop from both the first encounter with Rathil, First Broken Knight of Fikrul, and the final boss, Hefnd’s Vengeance, Blighted Chimera.

In PvE, it excels at crowd control thanks to its ability to hit multiple targets from afar, though it is generally considered a B-tier option compared to other heavy weapons for boss damage. For PvP, its projectiles can be useful in close-quarters combat, but it is not a top-tier choice. The sword features the Sundering origin trait, granting bonus reload speed and charge rate when destroying vehicles and constructs. While the perk pool is solid, it doesn’t offer any must-have combinations, but it remains a worthwhile addition for Strand-focused builds or for those anticipating future buffs to Caster Frame swords.

Buried Bloodline

Buried Bloodline is the coveted Exotic sidearm that drops exclusively from the final encounter, Hefnd’s Vengeance, in the Warlord’s Ruin dungeon. This Void weapon stands out as the dungeon’s signature Exotic, offering unique perks and a distinct playstyle for those who manage to secure it. Unlike the Legendary weapons, Buried Bloodline cannot be obtained from the earlier encounters, making the final boss fight a key milestone for collectors and power players alike. Its drop is not guaranteed, so repeated clears of the final encounter may be necessary before it appears in your loot pool.

What secret loot surprises await in the Warlord’s Ruin dungeon

The Warlord’s Ruin dungeon in Destiny 2 is packed with secret loot surprises for intrepid Guardians:

  • Secret Chests: There are two real secret chests hidden within the dungeon, each run featuring multiple decoy chests that can trigger traps or spawn enemies. The real secret chests are found between the first and second encounters (after crossing the wooden bridge) and between the second and third encounters (in a room full of trap chests-look for the one without a blue ether glow). These chests provide non-Pinnacle loot you’ve already unlocked, such as previously earned weapons and armor.

  • Hidden Bone Collectibles: Scattered throughout the dungeon are ten hidden Ahamkara bones, locked behind special doors that require multiple dungeon completions to access. Collecting these bones is part of a questline that can eventually reward you with Exotic gear.

  • Decoy Chests: Many chests are fakes, glowing blue and spawning enemies when opened, adding an extra layer of risk and surprise to your search for loot.

In addition to the main loot table and the coveted Buried Bloodline Exotic sidearm, these secret chests and collectibles provide extra incentives for thorough exploration and repeat runs through Warlord’s Ruin.

Where are the two secret chests hidden in Warlord’s Ruin

The two secret chests in the Warlord’s Ruin dungeon are hidden as follows:

  • First Secret Chest: This chest is located between the first and second encounters, typically after you cross the wooden bridge. There are six possible locations for this chest throughout the dungeon, but only one will be real in each run-the others are mimics with a blue glow that trigger traps or enemies. The real chest does not have a blue ether aura and can appear in spots such as cliffside outcoves before the bridge, inside the maze after the prison, or in side rooms before the Locus of Wailing Grief encounter.

  • Second Secret Chest: This chest appears after the second encounter, in a room filled with multiple chests. Only one is real; the rest are trapped mimics with a blue glow. Open the chest that lacks the blue ether effect to claim your loot.

Both chests only drop loot you’ve already acquired from the dungeon and can be opened once per character per week.
