In the sprawling world of Genshin Impact, a curious challenge awaits: tracking down the elusive “Legless Wild Non-Fish Creatures.” From shimmering Crystalflies fluttering near Mondstadt’s Dawn Winery to the mysterious Unagi lurking in Inazuma’s waters, these rare critters are key to completing the Graph Adversarial Technology Experiment Log event. Whether you’re exploring on PC, mobile, or PlayStation, mastering their locations and behaviors is your ticket to snapping the perfect shot-and claiming valuable rewards.
Once you have one of each color sample (blue, brown, yellow, red, and purple), you can submit your photos to Lepine-Pauline in Fontaine for rewards. However, the subject matter that you can photograph changes each day, and you only have 10 film to use per day.
Once the day ends at 4 a.m. EDT, the subject matter will change and you will not be able to go back and take photos of old subjects.
Below, we explain where to find the subjects for day 6 of the Genshin Impact photography event.
Where to find ’legless wild non-fish creature’ in Genshin Impact
Legless wild non-fish creatures in Genshin Impact are rare critters that players need to photograph for the Graph Adversarial Technology Experiment Log event. The main creatures that qualify are Crystalflies, Unagi, and Flying Serpents. The best and easiest places to find them include the Dawn Winery and Windrise areas in Mondstadt for Crystalflies, Watatsumi Island in Inazuma for Unagi, and the City of the Deceased domain in the Sumeru Desert for Flying Serpents. These locations offer groups of these creatures, making it simpler to complete the photo-taking task quickly. After capturing 10 photos, players can return to Fontaine to submit their samples and claim rewards.
“Lessless wild non-fish creatures” is very specific, and there are only a few critters that quality. We mainly focused on unagi in Inazuma and Crystalflies.
The easiest place for us to grab 10 Crystalfly photos quickly was by the Dawn Winery in Mondstadt. There are several Crystalflies by the Statue of the Seven to the north and a bunch of them around the vines at the winery.

How to get more sample colors in the ’Graph Adversarial Technology Experiment Log’ event
To get more sample colors in the ’Graph Adversarial Technology Experiment Log’ event in Genshin Impact, players should use the Image Sampling Kamera to photograph the designated photo subjects each day, as each picture yields a sample with randomized color characteristics. Taking multiple photos of the same subject can result in different colored samples, so it’s not necessary to find new creatures or objects every time. Players can take up to 10 photos daily, which reset each day, encouraging daily participation. Additionally, if players lack certain sample colors, they can trade samples with in-game friends without needing a direct exchange, allowing for easier collection of all required colors to claim event rewards.
Unfortunately, it appears to be random. There’s no one color we got from the Crystalflies, but we got at least enough samples of the other colors to be able to turn in the samples once for rewards.
