Kirby Air Riders true ending guide unlock the secret ending and final boss fight

Guides

Kirby Air Riders hides a secret finale beyond the credits-master these races to claim it.

How to complete the true ending in Kirby Air Riders

Complete Road Trip mode once to access New Game Plus. Play through it again, collecting all 22 Machines along branching paths marked by exclamation points, then defeat Gigantes in Stage 11 to reveal the hidden Stage 12, Journey’s End. Select a Legendary Machine to team up with Noir Dedede against the fully awakened Gigantes and Galactic Nova for the true conclusion.โ€‹

In order to get the secret ending and extra chapter (chapter 12), you’ll need to collect all 22 machines in Road Trip. This will need to be done in new game plus, since the different vehicles are found on different branching paths. In new game plus, branching paths that have machines that you haven’t collected yet will be marked with aWarp Star shape and an exclamation point.

To avoid having to run the game three times, you should make sure to also purchase any machine that shows up for sale in Waddle Dee’s shop (though we won’t fault you for wanting to run it three times – you’ll likely need to in order to unlock all the checklist squares anyway).

How to unlock New Game Plus in Kirby Air Riders

New Game Plus unlocks automatically after completing Road Trip mode once in Kirby Air Riders.โ€‹

Access Steps

Select the “Start Over+” option from the Road Trip menu post-completion to begin NG+, which carries over your collected Machines and coins while introducing Super Hard difficulty. Regular restarts create fresh saves without progress transfer.โ€‹

NG+ Benefits

Exclamation marks or star markers highlight routes with missing Machines to simplify collection toward the true ending. NG+ enables Stage 12 after gathering all 22 Machines and beating the final boss again.โ€‹

When does New Game Plus become available after finishing Road Trip

New Game Plus becomes available immediately after finishing Road Trip mode in Kirby Air Riders.โ€‹

Menu Access

Return to the Road Trip menu following your first completion of all 11 stages and the boss Gigantes. The “Start Over+” option appears alongside standard restart choices, confirming NG+ readiness.โ€‹

Confirmation Details

No additional requirements like specific ranks or collections apply for initial unlock-any clear file suffices. Selecting “Start Over+” transfers your Machines and coins to Super Hard difficulty for the true ending path.โ€‹
