Hidden deep across Hyrule’s Depths, the mysterious Bargainer Statues trade rare treasures for your collected Poes. Here’s where to find every statue and what eerie rewards each one offers in Tears of the Kingdom.
The first bargainer statue you will likely see is actually an excavated one in Lookout Landing, in Robbie and Josha’s office. Talking to this statue allows you to trade poes for the Dark Tunic right away. You can also pay this statue 100 poes to mark statues in the Depths that you haven’t found – it’s “brethren” – on your map.
The statues in the Depths are not tiny like the one in Lookout Landing. They’re large and require a tiny bit of climbing to get up to and pray at them. They each come with a flat platform on which you can stand and gaze into that horrifying statue face while you pray.
Where to find poes in Tears of the Kingdom
Poes appear as glowing blue orbs throughout the Depths in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Small ones yield a single Poe, while larger green versions give five and red grand ones provide 20. Check clusters near Abandoned Mines below key surface areas like Rito Village, Goron City, and Kakariko Village, as well as monster camps and mushroom trees. Bring collected Poes to Bargainer Statues for trades.โ
Based on our testing, poes do spawn in a set location on the map. They are glowing blue flames you can see pretty much anywhere around the Depths, and they don’t attack or run away when you approach them – they just chill there. That said, you can run through and spam the A button to pick them all up.

There are also large poes, which give you five, and grand poes, which give you 20. As of this writing, we’re not 100% sure if large poes and grand poes respawn, though.
Bargainer statue rewards
Bargainer statues in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom trade Poes for armor sets suited to the Depths and unique items unavailable elsewhere. Finding additional statues unlocks progressively better gear across all of them, such as the Tunic of the Depths for 150 Poes after the second statue, Hood of the Depths for 300 Poes after the sixth, and Tunic of Memories for 400 Poes after the seventh. Players can also repurchase amiibo-linked armor and Depths chest weapons once originally obtained.โโ
Once you find new statues and interact with it, the others will begin to sell their clothes. For example, the second bargainer statue you find will sell the Tunic of the Depths, and then all of them (including the one in Lookout Landing) will sell the Tunic of the Depths. Here’s a list of equipment, in the order they unlocked for us:
- Dark Tunic (150 poes)
- Tunic of the Depths (150 poes)
- Dark Trousers (200 poes)
- Gaiters of the Depths (200 poes)
- Dark Hood (300 poes)
- Hood of the Depths (300 poes)
- Tunic of Memories (400 poes)

We also noticed that the bargainer statues in the Depths also sell amiibo armor and weapons that you’ve already unlocked or found, for a pretty high price (400 poes for armor, with varying prices from 100-200 poes for weapons). The one in the Lookout Landing does not sell amiibo gear. The statues in the Depths also sell magic rods, staffs, and scepters for 100 poes each.
Bargainer statue locations
Bargainer Statues are found deep within the Depths, scattered across different regions beneath Hyrule. Each statue you locate expands the selection of items available for purchase, such as armor pieces, weapons, and rare materials. They often stand near large landmarks or Lightroots, making them easier to spot once you explore the surrounding area. Some statues require following clues or completing side objectives from the Bargainer Statue in Lookout Landing before they reveal their exact positions.
Bargainer statues actually have full bodies, resembling bizarrely buff, hooded beings. However, about half of the bargainer statues we’ve seen in the Depths have buried bodies, with some having torsos or shoulders sticking out of the ground. The most important thing to look for is their pointy, hooded heads.
Lookout Landing bargainer statue

This is likely the first bargainer statue you’ll run into (-0252, 0152, 0020), and it’ll give you direction to others, if you want to pay it 100 poes. Paying for the other statue locations will mark them on your map.
Plains bargainer statue

The plains bargainer statue is found at the coordinates (0457, -0803, -0472). The closest lightroot is the Stakijat Lightroot and the closest Depths entrance is the Hyrule Field Chasm, next to Jiosin Shrine.
This one is just directly ahead of the lightroot, visible from the ground. It doesn’t require much climbing to get to at all.
Wellspring of Wisdom bargainer statue

The Wellspring of Wisdom bargainer statue is at the coordinates (3805, -1328, -0858). The closest lightroot is Usukaz Lightroot and the closest chasm entrance is Naydra Snowfield Chasm, west of Mount Lanayru Skyview Tower.
This one is actually in lower elevation in the Depths, so you may have to jump down a bit to see it.
Wellspring of Power bargainer statue

The Wellspring of Power bargainer statue is at (3708, 2598, -0414). The closest lightroot is Akinatanis Lightroot and the closest depths entrance is East Akkala Plains Chasm, east of Ulri Mountain Skyview Tower.
This bargainer statue is up on a small cliff, overseeing some water.
Wellspring of Courage bargainer statue

The Wellspring of Courage bargainer statue is at the coordinates (0882, -2401, -0393). The closest lightroot is Muokuij Lightroot and the closest Depths entrance is Tobio’s Hollow Chasm, which you need to do some of the “Guidance of Ages Past” quest to access.
This statue has most of its body sticking out of the ground, so you’ll have to climb a bit to get to its head.
Cliffs bargainer statue

The cliffs bargainer statue is at the coordinates (-1032, 2690, -0273). The closest lightroot is Yisuayam Lightroot and the closest Depths entrance is Drenan Highlands Tower, to the west of the Thyphlo Ruins Skyview Tower.
This is the only bargainer statue where its full body is above ground. That said, you can Ascend up parts of its body until you get to its head.
Great Abandoned Central Mine bargainer statue

This bargainer statue is at the coordinates (-0782, -1905, -0564). While yes, this is a bargainer statue, it doesn’t function quite like the rest of them. To get it to stop murmuring about being trapped by water, you’ll need to break some rocks causing a clog in the Great Plateau and do the side adventure “A Call from the Depths” to return its eyes back to it.
Which Bargainer statue sells the Dark Link armor set
Dark Link Armor Availability
No single Bargainer Statue sells the complete Dark Link armor set (Dark Hood, Dark Tunic, and Dark Trousers) in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. All unlocked statues share a networked inventory, so players can purchase any available pieces from any statue using Poes.โ
Unlocking the Full Set
The set unlocks progressively by finding and activating five of the seven Bargainer Statues, regardless of order. The Lookout Landing statue (first one, coordinates -0253, 0148, 0020) sells the Dark Tunic for 150 Poes immediately upon interaction.โ
Activating additional statues-like those at Wellspring of Wisdom (3848, -1329, -0858), Wellspring of Courage (0884, -2403, -0393), Wellspring of Power (3710, 2595, -0412), and Plains (0459, -0808, -0468)-unlocks Dark Trousers (200 Poes) and Dark Hood (300 Poes) across the network.โ
