Jonsau Shrine location
Jonsau Shrine is found in the Lanayru Great Spring region, near the eastern side of the Wetlands Stable. It sits just west of the main road leading toward Zora’s Domain, on a small elevated area that can be reached by gliding or climbing. The exact coordinates are roughly (1743, 0018, 0025), making it easy to spot once you pass through the wetlands. Keep an eye out for nearby landmarks like the bridge crossing the river and the distinctive stone ruins that surround the area.

Jonsau Shrine ‘Deep Force’ walkthrough
The Jonsau Shrine, titled “Deep Force,” centers on using water pressure and buoyancy to move large spheres and activate switches. Begin by using Ultrahand to place the ball under water and release it to hit the top platform. Progress through each chamber by repeating this mechanic with new obstacles, such as angled platforms and gates. The final puzzle involves launching a large ball upward to trigger the crystal near the exit, revealing the shrine’s reward chest and the Light of Blessing.
You’ll have to push a couple buttons on the ceiling in Jonsau Shrine to advance through its puzzles. The trick is, you can’t reach them with your Ultrahand ability. Jonsau Shrine is a challenge in using Ultrahand to play with buoyancy and launch wooden objects into the air.
1. As you enter Jonsau Shrine, use Ultrahand to grab the wooden ball floating in the water ahead of you.
2. Move it over to the right and place it directly under the big yellow button above you.
3. Use Ultrahand to push the ball underwater as far as you can, and then let it go. It will launch out of the water to hit the button. That opens the gate to your right.
4. As you enter the next room, there’s a chest underwater on your left. It’s next to the second pillar. Open it for a strong Construct bow.
5. There’s also a Construct to deal with on your right.
6. Past the Construct, there will be another yellow button on your left.
7. This time, you’ll have a large plank. Pick it up with Ultrahand and rotate it so that it’s standing up on end (portrait, not landscape).
8. Repeat the process of holding it underwater and letting it shoot up to the button.
9. Head through the gate on the right and grab the wooden ball.
10. Do the same process again to launch the ball up through the hole in the platform above you. Your goal is to hit the lift so that the plank comes free.

Launch from Lookout Landing Skyview Tower and paraglide southeast across Hyrule Field toward the wetlands, landing near Wetland Stable before heading northeast through shallow marshes to the shrine. This avoids ground enemies and covers distance quickly if stamina allows.
Ground Path Alternative
Follow the main road east from Lookout Landing past Popla Foothills, cross into Lanayru Wetlands via the path north of Wetland Stable, and wade northeast through enemy camps (Bokoblins and Lizalfos) to Mercay Island. Mounts or vehicles speed this up, but clear foes first.

Stamina Tips
Upgrade stamina via Goddess Statues using four Lights of Blessing beforehand to glide the full span without landing. Avoid updrafts from enemies or fires to maintain speed; land precisely on the island to evade nearby Bokoblins.
