Nacon Connect returns with fresh glimpses at upcoming titles, including the gritty RoboCop: Rogue City update and a closer look at The Lord of the Rings: Gollum, alongside several new surprises set to expand the publisher’s growing lineup.
Nacon Connect begins at 1 p.m. EST/10 a.m. PST and can be seen above or through Nacon’s official YouTube or Twitch channels.
RoboCop: Rogue City was first announced in 2021 and given a June 2023 launch window last year. It will launch on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Windows PC, and Xbox Series X. Judging from its introductory trailer, the first-person shooter will be full of the gory, nearly comical violence that distinguished Paul Verhoeven’s 1987 action-satire. RoboCop’s original actor, Peter Weller, reprises his role for the game.
The Lord of the Rings: Gollum was originally announced in 2019 and given a September 2022 launch date, but developer Daedalic Entertainment said that would be delayed, shortly after Nacon showed the game in last summer’s livestream. Nacon’s latest quarterly report to investors said Gollum would launch sometime between April and September of this year.

RoboCop Rogue City Unfinished Business expansion details
RoboCop: Rogue City – Unfinished Business is a standalone expansion to the 2023 game RoboCop: Rogue City, announced at Nacon Connect 2025 and released on July 17, 2025, for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
Story and Setting
Set shortly after the base game’s events, it begins with mercenaries attacking the Metro West precinct, stealing RoboCop’s medical chair components, and fleeing to OmniTower-a massive housing complex for evicted Old Detroit residents, now a mercenary fortress with traps and enemies on every floor. RoboCop ascends the tower to stop them from accessing OCP tech, facing ghosts from Alex Murphy’s past, including a former colleague leading the mercs, with aid from ex-OCP scientist Miranda Hale.
Gameplay Features
Players battle elite mercenaries, bots, jetpack foes, and cyborgs using an expanded arsenal: Auto 9 staples plus a minigun, cryo-cannon (freezes enemies), and environmental kills like garbage chutes. Flashback missions let you play as pre-RoboCop Alex Murphy or briefly as ED-209 with twin cannons; RPG systems from the base game return for upgrades.
Reception
Reviews call it fun for action-packed shooting but shallower than the original-more linear corridors over open Detroit exploration, with repetitive merc fights and mixed character depth. It’s praised as a solid “shooty-shooty” spin-off, though some hoped for a fuller sequel.
