Tucked away in the lush woods of Il Mheg, Anden offers a unique way to earn rewards through custom deliveries-if you can meet his unusual conditions. Here’s how to gain his trust, begin his requests, and make the most of this quirky restoration project in FFXIV.
Custom deliveries are weekly quests you can complete to earn lots of crafting and gathering EXP and scrips. You’ll also gain satisfaction for each character you do deliveries for and their satisfaction levels will rise, teaching you more about the character. You can only complete a total of 12 custom deliveries per week and six per specific NPC. Deliveries reset every Tuesday morning.
The higher collectability your crafted or gathered turn-in has, the more EXP and scrips you’ll get in return. Scrips can be used to purchase important crafting materials, materia, décor, and other useful loot from Scrip Exchange NPCs.
Update (Feb. 2): We’ve added more information about the rewards and the requirements to get the rewards for Anden’s custom deliveries.
How to unlock Anden’s custom deliveries
To gain access to Anden’s custom deliveries, you must first clear the main scenario quest “Endwalker” and complete the side quest “Go West, Craftsman.” With those conditions met and at least one Disciple of the Hand or Land at level 80, accept the quest “That’s So Anden” from the NPC Supplicant Sheep in the Crystarium at X:9.3, Y:11.3. Follow this quest to Il Mheg and speak with Anden at Longmirror Lake to finish the chain; once it is done, his custom delivery requests become available each week.
In order to unlock Anden’s deliveries, you need to have completed the following prerequisites:
- Complete the main scenario quest “Endwalker”
- Complete the quest “Go West, Craftsman“
- Have at least one crafting or gathering job at level 80
Once you have those, you can talk to the “Supplicant Sheep” NPC in The Crystarium to start the quest “That’s So Anden.” We’ve marked their location below.

Anden custom delivery rewards
Anden’s custom delivery rewards include a mix of scrips, experience points, and increased satisfaction levels, which can grant access to new dialogue and cosmetic items over time. As your relationship with Anden grows, you’ll also gain access to special crafting and gathering materials, making these weekly deliveries a steady source of both progression and personal touches for your character.
Once you max out Anden’s satisfaction level, you can unlock the “Anden III” mount, which is a mount of the leaf pile that you can sit atop. A Pixie next to Anden will have a quest for you to complete, called “A Labor of Leaf,” which rewards the mount, as well as a “Leafman Head” hat, which makes you look like a leafman.

As with many other custom deliveries, you will be able to dress up Anden in glamours and desired outfits once you max out his satisfaction level as well. We won’t spoil how it works, but you’ll see when you rank him up.
What rewards do Anden custom deliveries give
Anden’s custom deliveries give the usual scrips/EXP/gil per turn-in, plus some unique cosmetic and title rewards as you raise his satisfaction level.
Basic delivery rewards
Each successful delivery to Anden gives:
-
Purple Crafters’ or Gatherers’ Scrips, depending on the class you turn in with.
-
Experience for your crafter/gatherer if it is not at level cap.
-
A small amount of gil per item.
If your class is at level cap, you get Orange Crafters’ or Gatherers’ Scrips instead of EXP.
Collectability and payout
-
Higher collectability tiers give more gil and more scrips per delivery.
-
EXP scales with your current level but does not increase with higher collectability tiers.
-
When Anden’s current “bonus” item type is active, rewards are multiplied by about 1.5× (rounded down).
Satisfaction level rewards
Raising Anden’s satisfaction unlocks extra items and titles:
-
At early ranks you get food and materia such as Craftsman’s or Gatherer’s Materia VIII and themed foods like Happiness Juice or Giant Haddock Dip.
-
At satisfaction level 5, you unlock the achievement title “Leaf Whisperer.”
-
Doing 150 total deliveries to Anden grants the achievement “The Customer Is Always Right: Anden VI” and the title “Man-maker.”
Unique cosmetics and mount
Through his associated quests once he is maxed:
-
“A Labor of Leaf” rewards the Leafman Head glamour.
-
The same quest also awards the Anden III Horn, which unlocks the Anden leaf-pile mount.
-
Completing “Every Anden of the Rainbow” at level 5 satisfaction unlocks the Anden Triple Triad card for purchase at Sul Lad’s shop.
If you tell me your current satisfaction rank, I can list exactly what you can earn next from him.
How to max Anden’s satisfaction level quickly
You raise Anden’s satisfaction only by doing his weekly custom deliveries, so “maxing him quickly” really means using your limited turns as efficiently as possible each reset.
How long it takes
-
You can do 6 deliveries per week to Anden, and 12 total across all custom-delivery NPCs.
-
It takes a few weeks of doing all 6 slots every reset to hit max satisfaction and unlock his mount/quests; you cannot speed this past the built-in weekly cap.
Fastest practical strategy
-
Always cap his 6 deliveries every week as soon as the reset hits so you never “waste” a week.
-
Aim for the highest collectability tier you can reliably craft or gather; it gives more scrips and gil and makes the grind feel more rewarding, even though satisfaction per delivery is fixed.
-
Prioritize Anden in your weekly 12-delivery budget until he’s maxed; do fewer or no turn-ins for other NPCs if needed.
Efficient crafting/gathering tips
-
For crafted items, buy his materials from Aenc Ose in Il Mheg (around X:16.5, Y:33.8), then quick-synth if your gear is strong enough.
-
For gathering/fishing items, make a simple gathering loop or macro and stockpile during one longer session so weekly hand-ins take only a few minutes.
After he’s maxed
-
You can and should keep doing deliveries to Anden for scrips and to work toward his 150-delivery achievement/title; the process is the same as while leveling him.
