To make your search easier, we’ve marked the three Mortal Kombat locations on the Chapter 6 Season 2 Fortnite map below, and detailed how to reach each location.

All Mortal Kombat locations in Fortnite

The Mortal Kombat crossover in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2 introduces three iconic Mortal Kombat-themed locations: The Living Forest, The Pit, and The Dead Pool. The Living Forest is found northwest of Lone Wolf Lair, replacing the former Sleepwalker’s Peril campsite. The Pit is located east of the Shiny Span bridge and features deadly spikes that can eliminate players who fall onto them. The Dead Pool lies beneath Masked Meadows, accessible via an ascender near the bank’s eastern wall, leading through a hidden door to a hazardous pool area that inflicts damage over time. These locations are not marked on the Fortnite map, adding an element of discovery, and players may encounter Scorpion at any of these sites, enhancing the challenge and excitement of the event.

These landmarks are not labeled on the map, so instead of running around the entire map looking for them, we’ve marked their locations on the map above.

Additionally, you should know that there is a chance that Scorpion will spawn at any of these three locations at the start of a match – making them even more deadly. However, if Scorpion isn’t at one of the locations, you can find an epic version of Scorpion’s and Sub-Zero’s Kombat Kits.

How can I locate the elusive Living Forest in Fortnite’s new map

To locate the elusive Living Forest in Fortnite’s new Chapter 6 Season 2 map, head to the area where Sleepwalker’s Peril campsite used to be, situated southwest of Flooded Frogs and northwest of Lonewolf Lair. This unmarked location lies centrally between Flooded Frogs, Whiffy Wharf, and Lonewolf Lair, making it best to start from Flooded Frogs and travel southwest along connecting paths to find it. The Living Forest is distinctive for its spooky, seemingly alive trees with changing faces, and though it lacks buildings, you can find regular chest and floor loot there, including Scorpion’s Kombat Kit. For quest purposes, it’s recommended to land directly in the Living Forest right after jumping from the Battle Bus to complete related objectives efficiently. Be prepared for potential encounters with Scorpion, who may spawn here as a boss, adding a challenging twist to your visit.

What’s the best way to land quickly at the Living Forest in Fortnite

The best way to land quickly at the Living Forest in Fortnite is to jump from the Battle Bus directly over the location right at the start of the match. As soon as you exit the bus, position your character in a steep dive (around a 45-degree angle) and hold forward to maximize your falling speed until your glider automatically deploys. This method ensures you reach the Living Forest faster than other players who might be landing nearby. For optimal speed, avoid hanging around high places or gliding too early, and aim to land directly in the forest to complete related quests quickly. This direct drop strategy is recommended especially to complete Mortal Kombat challenges efficiently and to engage with NPCs or bosses like Scorpion right away.
