How to solve the fountain puzzle

To solve the fountain puzzle in the Seahorse Boss fight in Animal Well, you need to redirect the water sprayed by the Seahorse into three pillars to fill them up and open the door to the next area. This is done by using two cranks to adjust the angles of floating platforms, which deflect the water streams into the pillars. Start by using the left crank to fill the left and middle fountains, then switch to the right crank to bounce the water from the left platform to the right one and into the final fountain. The Seahorse will spray water toward the platform you stand on, so position yourself carefully to control where the water goes. The boss’s water attacks cannot harm you unless you fall into the water, so you can take your time adjusting the platforms until all fountains are filled and the door unlocks.

From the three, green penguin statues – one screen down and one to the right of the egg room – head to the left. Keep going until you hit the edge and drop down. You’ll pass over top of a pair of storks wading through some water. Ignore them, and keep heading left.

You’ll pop up under a fountain puzzle. Your goal is to move the two plaforms to bounce the water into the top of the target pillar. Start with the rightmost panel. Use the crank to turn it counterclockwise until the water from the fountain bounces off of it and hits the left panel in about the middle.

Once it’s in position, head to the left platform and use the crank to move it clockwise – tipping it to the right – until the water hits the target pillar and unlocks the door.

How to solve the fan puzzle

To solve the fan puzzle in the Seahorse boss fight in Animal Well, you need to use two cranks to redirect the water that the Seahorse sprays into three fountains (pillars) that must be filled to open the door. Start by using the left crank to angle the platforms so the water fills the left and middle fountains. Then switch to the right crank to deflect the water from the left platform to the right platform and into the final fountain. The Seahorse’s water spray pushes you slightly, but if you keep adjusting the cranks and your position, you can fill all three fountains without taking damage. Once all fountains are filled, the door opens, allowing you to claim the Bubble Wand.

In the next room to the left, you’ll see four columns of bubbles rising. Hop across to the leftmost column and then ride a bubble down – the bubbles don’t pop until you jump.

On the next screen down, you’ll see the four fish producing the bubbles. You’re looking for the narrow passage near the top of the screen on the left side. Head through and to the left. You’ll see another quartet of fish on the next screen. Use the bubbles to cross to the far side and climb the ladder.

Get off the ladder and hit the yellow button to turn on the fans. In the main room, use the fans to supercharge your jumps. That will let you hit the four yellow buttons on the ceiling. Once all four are pushed, you’ll be able to jump up to the door in the upper left.

How to defeat the seahorse boss fight

To defeat the Seahorse boss in Animal Well, you need to solve a puzzle involving filling three pillars with water. The Seahorse will periodically shoot water, and you must use two cranks to angle platforms that redirect this water into the pillars. Start by using the left crank to fill the left and middle pillars, then use the right crank to bounce the water into the right pillar. Position yourself carefully to control where the Seahorse sprays, avoiding damage by standing on platforms. Once all three pillars are filled, the door to the next room opens, allowing you to claim the Bubble Wand. This boss fight is relatively straightforward and focuses more on puzzle-solving than combat.

Don’t worry about the next two screens – just keep heading left until you hit a telephone. After you save, climb down the ladder. You’ll have two more dark screens of platforms, but you only have to keep heading right. At the end, climb down the ladder to find the seahorse.

You won’t actually fight (or even beat) the seahorse in this encounter. Your job is to get the seahorse to blow bubbles that you can use to climb up to the three yellow buttons on the ceiling. There’s a place to stand for each of them. For the first yellow button, stand on the right edge of the second platform from the right. When the seahorse starts spitting water, step to the left to avoid it. Wait for all four bubbles to appear, and then climb them up so you can hit the button.

For the middle yellow button, stand on the left end of the same platform.

For the left yellow button, stand on the left side of the third platform. Once you hit the button, stand in the same spot and use the bubbles to exit the room.

Bubble wand location

The Bubble Wand in Animal Well is located in the southwest section of the map, in the room where you face the Seahorse Boss. To reach it, you must first complete several puzzles involving water and bubbles, including a key puzzle where you use two cranks to deflect the Seahorse’s water attacks into three fountains to fill them. Once all three fountains are filled, the door to the right opens, revealing a chest containing the Bubble Wand. This powerful tool allows you to blow bubbles that enable double-jumping to reach higher ledges, making it essential for exploring previously inaccessible areas of the game.

In the next room to the left, you’ll find a chest with the B. Wand – the bubble wand. This will let you produce a single bubble at a time that will rise slowly. It can almost work like a double jump. More importantly, if you hit the A and X buttons at the same time, you’ll blow a bubble and jump at the same time. With a bit of practice, this will let you climb up to ledges you couldn’t otherwise reach.

Want to learn the secret trick to defeating the Seahorse boss easily

The secret trick to defeating the Seahorse boss in Animal Well is to focus on solving the puzzle rather than direct attacks. Instead of fighting the Seahorse, you need to use two cranks to deflect its water blasts into three fountains, filling their bars to unlock the next room. The left and middle fountains can be filled by adjusting the left crank, but the right fountain requires a clever combo: have the Seahorse fire at the left crank, then deflect the water onto the right crank and finally into the right fountain. Changing your position to alter the water’s angle is key to success. Once all fountains are filled, the door opens, revealing the Bubble Wand and victory.

What is the most effective way to break the Seahorse’s shield quickly

The most effective way to break the Seahorse’s Electro shield quickly in Genshin Impact is to use elemental reactions involving Pyro, Dendro, or Cryo attacks. A popular and efficient strategy is to apply Pyro consistently, especially through characters like Bennett combined with Anemo characters like Kazuha to spread Pyro quickly, which rapidly depletes the shield. Additionally, using environmental grass to trigger burning (Overload) reactions can significantly speed up shield breaking, as players have reported breaking the shield in as little as 20 seconds by combining grass with Pyro characters like Bennett and Kazuha. Chongyun’s Cryo abilities and burst also help to break the shield effectively as the shield weakens. Overall, leveraging elemental reactions with Pyro and Dendro, supported by crowd control and environmental interactions, is the fastest method to break the Seahorse’s shield.
