In this guide, we’ll show you where you can find all 34 Altars of Lilith in Scosglen, the swampy region that you’ll first adventure to during Act II of Diablo 4‘s campaign.
You can find Altars of Lilith in each of the game’s five regions, and each statue will give you a permanent benefit. Most statues will boost one of your core stats (Dexterity, Strength, Willpower, or Intelligence), while others might increase the amount of Murmuring Obols you can carry. The best statues give you a bonus Paragon Point. These bonuses are account-wide, so all of your characters benefit when you grab an altar.
Following the rollout of Diablo 4‘s seasonal cadence, Altars of Lilith have become even more useful. When you collect an Altar of Lilith on your current character, you’ll also be collecting it for all characters on your account. This means that every new character you make – seasonal or otherwise – will already have the altars unlocked for them, as well as the stat bonuses and Renown that comes with them.
Each Altar of Lilith gives you 10 Renown, which is a big chunk of the total Renown in each region. Collecting these altars as early as possible will allow you to start with multiple bonus skill points and potion charges each season.

Eastern Scosglen, #1-19
Eastern Scosglen #1-19: Altar 1 is near Greenglen Meadows south of Cerrigar, granting +2 Strength; Altar 2 sits inside a fort-area house along Wealaf Rise with +2 Dexterity; Altar 3 through 19 span various subzones like Emerald Chase, Downs, and Northshore, each offering a mix of +2 stat bonuses (Strength, Dexterity, Intelligence) or related buffs, placed in hidden crevices, inside buildings, or along paths to dungeons, with several located near the Stockade, Sarat’s Lair, Whispering Pines, and other notable landmarks, culminating in Altar 19 at The Withered Scrubs with +2 Strength.
Our first section will focus on the eastern side of Scosglen, starting from its capital city: Cerrigar. Here, we’ll show you how to get the first 19 Altars of Lilith in this region.
#1: The Downs – Greenglen Meadows
This altar will give all your characters 2 Strength.
From Cerrigar, head down and to the right. You’ll find the Altar sitting among some trees.
#2: The Downs – Wealaf Rise
This altar will give all of your characters 2 Dexterity.
Make your way south to a ruined fort called Wealaf Rise in The Downs. You’ll find the altar inside, sitting in the corner of a ruined tower.
#3: The Downs – The Unhallowed Pit
This altar will give all of your characters 2 Dexterity.
Keeping in the southern, central part of Scosglen, head to a circular clearing. Look for the altar sitting between some gnarled trees.
#4: The Downs – Wraithstead
This altar will give all of your characters 2 Strength.
Near the Oldstones dungeon, sitting across from a field, you’ll find this altar standing in some brush.
#5: Highland Wilds – The Great Northern Plains
This altar will give all of your characters 2 Strength.
Across the bridge and south from the Abandoned Barrow dungeon, you’ll find an altar of Lilith overlooking the water.
#6: Highland Wilds – Gloom Pine Pass
This altar will give all of your characters 2 Dexterity.
Just east of the Under the Fat Goose Inn, you’ll find this altar hidden among some trees and rocks. There’s a torch nearby which will light your way.
#7: Highland Wilds – Maddux Hill
This altar will give all of your characters 2 Intelligence.
To the east of the Maddux Watch dungeon, near the climbable cliff, you’ll find an altar tucked in next to a tree.
#8: Highland Wilds – Dead Forest
This altar will give all of your characters 2 Willpower.
East of The Hive dungeon, in a wide, vertical space, you’ll find an altar hidden by the rock wall.
#9: Highland Wilds – Dead Forest
This altar will give all of your characters 2 Strength.
Sandwiched between The Forlorn Hovel dungeon and the Whispering Pines dungeon, you’ll find a statue overlooking the water.
#10: Highland Wilds – The Withered Scrubs
This altar will give all of your characters 2 Strength.
West of the Whispering Pines dungeon, you’ll find a statue placed between two gnarled trees.
#11: Highland Wilds – The Daudur Peats
This altar will give all of your characters 2 Intelligence.
Just east of the winding path that leads to The Withered Scrubs, you’ll find an Altar of Lilith with its back to the camera, tucked in the corner of a destroyed stone structure.
#12: The Shrouded Moors – The Blood Vale
This altar will give all of your characters 2 Willpower.
In the Blood Vale – easily seen on the map due to its red color – look for the long path to the southeast. You’ll find this altar in a dead-end.
#13: The Shrouded Moors – Loch Raeth
This altar will give all of your characters 2 Strength.
Just west of the Tirmair Waypoint, you’ll find an altar in the shade of a tree along a muddy path.
#14: Moordaine Lodge – Moordaine Lodge
This altar will give all of your characters 2 Willpower.
Near the Twisted Hollow, you’ll find a turned over log that you can crawl under. Do so and you’ll find an Altar of Lilith waiting for you on the other side.
#15: Strand – Fiabre
This altar will give all of your characters 2 Willpower.
You’ll find this altar at the top of a small mountain in northeast Scosglen. Use the map’s traversal sections to reach the top and you’ll see it sitting under a tree.
#16: Caen Adar – Razor Shoals
This altar will give all of your characters 2 Strength.
North of the Corbach Waypoint, you’ll find a ruined structure sitting on the edge of the cliff. The altar is sitting inside.
#17: Strand – Torvstrath
This altar will give all of your characters 2 Willpower.
West of the Luban’s Rest dungeon, you’ll find a destroyed village. Inside the largest hut is an Altar of Lilith.
#18: Wailing Hill – Bronagh Expanse
This altar will give all of your characters 2 Willpower.
Right next to the Raethwind Wilds dungeon you’ll find an altar sitting among some trees.
#19: Wailing Hill – Wailing Coast
This altar will give all of your characters 2 Strength.
East of the Braestaig Waypoint and across an open area you’ll find this altar hidden among the tall grass on a corner.
Northern Scosglen, #20-25
Altars #20-25 in Northern Scosglen are spread between the coastal cliffs and the forested paths leading toward the Deep Forest. Check rocky outcrops along narrow trails, small clearings beside broken carts or camp ruins, and cliff edges near winding roads for hidden statues. A few of these shrines sit close to strongholds or side dungeons, so clear out nearby enemies first to make interaction safer. Mark each altar on your map as you go to avoid backtracking through the dense terrain.
In this section, we’ll show you how to find the six Altars of Lilith in northern Scosglen.
#20: Wailing Hills – Ancestor Heights
This altar will give all of your characters 2 Intelligence.
North of the Weeping Cairns dungeon, you’ll find an Altar of Lilith near some tall rocks. Look for the brazier if you’re having trouble finding it.
#21: Northshore – Stormbreak Cove
This altar will give all of your characters 2 Strength.
East of the Sunken Ruins dungeon, along the shoreline, you’ll find an altar with its back to the camera.
#22: Northshore – The Cursed Scarps
This altar will give all of your characters 2 Dexterity.
West of the Mithering Descent dungeon, you’ll find an altar in the water, near some rocks.
#23: Northshore – The Cursed Bay
This altar will give all of your characters 2 Strength.
In The Cursed Bay Stronghold, make your way through until you can reach the island on the far right. Hidden behind some debris, next to a destroyed ship, you’ll find an altar.
#24: Northshore – The Old Mine Works
This altar will give all of your characters 2 Intelligence.
Southwest of the Calibel’s Mine dungeon, you’ll find an altar hidden in a small wooden structure.
#25: Northshore – Writhing Brook
This altar will give all of your characters 2 Dexterity.
South of the Marowen Waypoint, you’ll find a statue with its back to a rock wall.
Western Scosglen, #26-34
Altars #26 through #34 occupy the rugged western reaches of Scosglen, from the Shrouded Moors’ stream beds northwest of Tirmair to Moordaine Lodge’s alcoves past destructible stumps, and onward to Hope’s Light stronghold’s eastern side. #26 sits along a stream northwest of Tirmair; #27 requires clearing the Moordaine Lodge stronghold for access; #34 stands inside Hope’s Light. These nine statues cluster amid strongholds and remote edges, granting permanent boosts like +2 Willpower at Outlaws’ Grove between trees on a grassy ramp.

#26: Deep Forest – The Ancient’s Woods
This altar will give all of your characters 2 Dexterity.
Just east of the Wretched Delve dungeon, you’ll find this Altar of Lilith resting against a broken stone wall near some trees.
#27: Deep Forest – Tur Dulra
This altar will give all of your characters 2 Intelligence.
In the Tur Dulra Stronghold, make your way down to the walkway and look for a spot where you can jump across to a broken tower. In the tower you’ll find the altar you’re looking for.
#28: Deep Forest – The Ancients’ Woods
This altar will give all of your characters 2 Intelligence.
Southeast of Tur Dulra you’ll find this altar covered in vines and mossy branches near a destroyed campsite.
#29: Deep Forest – The Ancients’ Woods
This altar will give all of your characters 2 Dexterity.
In the most southwestern part of Scosglen, before you enter the Dry Steppes, you’ll find a path that leads to a small cave, which houses this Altar of Lilith.
#30: Westering Lowlands – The Witan Wolds
This altar will give all of your characters 2 Dexterity.
West of Firebreak Manor, you’ll find a small forest filled with greenery. You’ll find this altar hidden among the trees.
#31: The Emerald Coast – Old Forest Clearing
This altar will give all of your characters 2 Dexterity.
Across the easter bridge from the Howling Warren dungeon, you’ll find an altar sitting up on some rocks, surrounded by trees.
#32: The Emerald Chase – Shadow Wood
This altar will give all of your characters 2 Intelligence.
Just west of Cerrigar you’ll find an altar on the edge of a cavern.
#33: Westering Lowlands – Laglend Fen
This altar will give all of your characters 2 Willpower.
Southwest of Firebreak Manor, you’ll find a small grouping of rocks and trees in the middle of a field. You’ll find an altar hiding behind the left tree.
#34: Westering Lowlands – Outlaws Grove
This altar will give all of your characters 2 Willpower.
Far west from Firebreak Manor, on the edge of Scosglen, you’ll find a grassy ramp leading up into some trees. Between the trees is the final Altar of Lilith.
