  • Unique Skill: Moon-and-Fire Stance. Assume ready stance, swords imbued with magic. Follow up with normal attack to cast glintsone light waves, or a strong attack to perform a spinning attack that bathes the area with flame. Light waves can have up to two-follow-up casts with additional inputs.

Messmer the Impaler

Messmer the Impaler is a pivotal Demigod boss in Elden Ring’s Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, serving as the leader of a crusade against the Hornsent people and revealed to be Queen Marika’s forsaken son. Found in the Shadow Keep’s Specimen Storehouse, this challenging boss wields fire-based spells and a greatspear, demanding mastery of swift and punishing attack patterns.   • Unique Skill: Messmer’s Assault. A fierce succession of attacks using a flame-coated spear tip. Repeated inputs allow up to two follow-up attacks. The final move thrusts the spear into the ground, causing countless spears to form in the surrounding area.

  • Description: Summons Messmer’s flame to form a giant floating orb. The orb soars toward a foe, crashes into the earth, and explodes after a brief delay. Charging enhances potency.

Midra, Lord of Frenzied Flame

Midra, Lord of Frenzied Flame, is an optional Legend Boss found in the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC of Elden Ring, located in Midra’s Manse within the Abyssal Woods. Known as the embodiment of the Frenzied Flame, Midra presents a challenging fight with a unique two-phase battle where his human form must be defeated first. Upon victory, players receive the Remembrance of the Lord of Frenzied Flame, which can be traded with Finger Reader Enia at Roundtable Hold for powerful rewards such as the Greatsword of Damnation or Midra’s Flame of Frenzy, or consumed for a large bounty of runes.   • Unique Skill: Golden Crux. Leap up and skewer foe from overhead. If successful, the weapon’s barbs unfold to excruciate from within; else, additional input releases barbs in the area. There is something of the Golden Order in the sight of those fixed upon this crux.

  • Description: Summons an apparition of the Lord’s head to spew frenzied flame. This incantation can be used while in motion. The apparition will remain for as long as the input is held.

Putrescent Knight

The Putrescent Knight is a formidable optional boss in the Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, found guarding the entrance to St. Trina’s cave at the bottom of the Stone Coffin Fissure. Scadutree Avatar

The Scadutree Avatar is an optional but formidable boss in Elden Ring’s Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, located in the Scadutree Base beneath the Shadow Keep. Resembling a giant shadowy sunflower with massive root-like arms, it features three distinct phases, each with its own health bar, and can regenerate, making the fight endurance-heavy. Commander Gaius

Commander Gaius is a Legend Boss in Elden Ring’s Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, found at the back of the Shadow Keep Legacy Dungeon in Scaduview. Riding a massive boar, he combines powerful physical attacks with gravity-based magic, making him a challenging mounted foe. Romina, Saint of the Bud

Romina, Saint of the Bud is a pivotal boss in Elden Ring’s Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, found in the Church of the Bud within the Ancient Ruins of Rauh. Once a humanoid, Romina’s lower body has transformed into a centipede with a scorpion’s stinger, and after her church was burned, she infused a twisted divine element into the baleful Scarlet Rot, wielding a deadly poleblade.
