There are 50 Scadutree Fragments in Shadow of the Erdtree, and tracking them all down can be a little difficult, but there are a few landmarks and enemies to look out for to make your search easier.

How to increase your Scadutree Blessing in Elden Ring

To increase your Scadutree Blessing in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree, you need to collect Scadutree Fragments scattered throughout the Land of Shadow. Once you find a fragment, rest at any Site of Grace and access the new Shadow Realm Blessing tab. Here, you can spend your Scadutree Fragments to level up your Scadutree Blessing, which boosts both the damage you deal and the damage you negate while in the DLC area. Each upgrade requires more fragments than the last, and the effects only apply within the Realm of Shadow-not in the base game. The first 12 levels provide the most significant stat increases, with diminishing returns at higher levels, but collecting all 50 fragments allows you to reach the maximum blessing level of 20. If you want to find Scadutree Fragments organically, the two primary landmarks you should keep an eye out for when you’re looking for Scadutree Fragments: Miquella’s Crosses (left in the above graphic) and Statues of Marika (right). Miquella’s Crosses are typically located beside sites of grace so they’re aso a good indicator for a spot where you can rest and restock on your flasks. Statues of Marika are a bit more random, but you’re certain to find one in a church.

In addition, there are two enemies you should look for during your exploration – Shadow Undeads holding a sparkling pot (left in the above graphic) and Golden Hippopotamuses (right).

If you ever notice a lot of Shadow Undeads in an area, there is a good chance that there is one holding a sparkling pot nearby. If one of these potfriends don’t drop a Scadutree Fragment, they will drop another valuable item like a Revered Spirit Ash. Golden Hippopotamuses, meanwhile, are a bit more troublesome and hard to come by than your average Shadow Undead, but they’re guaranteed to drop a Scadutree Fragment.

Of course, these aren’t the only ways you can find Scadutree Fragments, which can be just about anywhere, but hopefully these landmarks and enemies will help you get stronger in the Realm of Shadow.

Travel to the east of the Scorched Ruins and defeat the Shadow Undead holding a pot.

From the Main Gate Cross Site of Grace, turn to the southeast, go through the tunnel, then immediately left to find a rocky trail leading upwards. Follow the path to find the Cliffroad Terminus Site of Grace, and go southwest to find a Shadow Undead with a pot.
Before entering the room with the two Spider Scorpions from the lower level in Belurat, turn around to find some rubble on your left. Climb over it to find an entryway (jump scare warning) and go inside to find a Miquella’s Cross.

From the Spiral Rise Site of Grace, head east and hug the left side of the stairs to find a room containing the Inquisitor Ashes. As you’re exiting the room, turn to the right and drop onto the stairs. Head into the gazebo and drop onto the path below you. Drop down to the path below again and continue along the path until you can jump to the next building. Go around the left side of the building and drop onto the path below. Head down the stairs and prepare to jump into the window to the south. Follow the path to find the fragment in front of a draped statue.
After defeating the grave birds near the Spiral Rise Site of Grace, continue up to the top of the stairs to find a room containing an altar.
