The museum is broken up into four wings: archaeology, fish, flora, and insects. All of these collectables can be tracked in your in-game almanac and you can check the tooltip on each individual item to see if you have donated them to the museum already or not. Helpful!
Below we list what you need to complete the museum in Fields of Mistria, though note it’s not able to be 100% completed as of the current early access release.
Update (March 12): We’ve updated this guide with the new museum sections added in the first major update (patch 0.13).
Fields of Mistria museum Archaeology Wing
The Archaeology Wing of the Fields of Mistria museum is dedicated to uncovering relics from the past through excavation of circular dig spots found both on the surface and within the mines. Players use tools like shovels and pickaxes to discover a variety of artifacts, ranging from ancient farming tools to royal treasures. This wing features 19 sets of collectible items, including prehistoric fossils, ancient artifacts, and ritual objects, each tied to specific dig locations or skill unlocks in archaeology and fishing. While most items are obtainable, some sets remain incomplete due to unavailable items in the current early access version. Completing sets in this wing rewards players with valuable in-game items and progress toward museum completion.

The Archaeology Wing focuses on digging up the circular dig spots you see in the ground with your shovel or a pickaxe. There are dig spots both in the mines and on the surface and different areas yield different rewards. Some of the Archaeology Wing items are also obtained via fishing and diving, though you’ll need to unlock a specific skill in the fishing and archeology skill tree to get these items.
Below we list the different parts of the Archaeology Wing, as well as where you have to dig or what you have to unlock to find these items. Note that two sets are incomplete; the “Metals of Mistria” and “Gems of Mistria” sets cannot be completed, as one of the required items from each category are unavailable in the current early access.
In Fields of Mistria, the museum serves as a central hub where players can donate a wide variety of collectibles including fish, artifacts, crops, bugs, and other unique items gathered throughout the game’s seasons. The museum is divided into several sections such as archaeology, fish, and flora, each containing multiple themed sets like the Aldarian, Caldosian, and Prehistoric artifact sets, as well as seasonal crop and flower collections. Completing these collections not only progresses the game’s narrative but also rewards players with furniture, recipes, and monetary bonuses. Players can track their donations and progress via an in-game almanac, which provides detailed tooltips for each item. However, full completion is currently limited by the early access state of the game.

Fields of Mistria museum Flora Wing
The Flora Wing of the Fields of Mistria museum showcases a vibrant collection of crops, flowers, and foraged plants from across the game world. To complete this wing, players must grow seasonal crops and trees on their farm or forage various plants from different regions, including the open world, mines, and deep woods. Each season requires specific sets of flora, such as spring crops like cabbage and strawberry, summer flowers like cosmos and marigold, and unique items found in special areas like the Tide Caverns and Lava Caves. Completing these collections rewards players with valuable items and decorative recipes, making the Flora Wing an essential part of restoring Mistria’s natural beauty.

Most of the flora section of the museum needs to be grown on your farm or foraged. Each season requires you to grow four crops and one tree (though some of the seasonal fruit trees grow natively spread out around Mistria).
Notably, the red toadstool item drops from the red mushroom enemies in the Upper Mines. It’s not a foragable good that just sits there to be found.
If the season ended and you missed an item, keep an eye out on Balor’s merchant cart, as he sells off-season items, though his stock is random.

Fields of Mistria museum Insects Wing
The Insects Wing of the Fields of Mistria Museum is one of four main wings, featuring 14 collectible sets of various bugs found throughout the game world. Players can donate insects caught using a net, with species varying by season, time of day, and weather conditions. The wing includes common insects like ants and ladybugs, rare ones such as the Crystal Caterpillar and Jewel Beetle, and legendary insects like the Fairy Bee. Completing sets rewards players with unique items, encouraging exploration across different environments and seasons to collect all 289 museum items across all wings.

While bugs do have seasonal and time requirements, there’s no skill level associated with them, so you don’t have to worry about unlocking something specific to find all the bugs. You will need to make sure you’re looking in the right places at the right time, though.
