Eager to ditch the roads and take to the skies in Fortnite Remix’s Week 3 update? Seven helicopters, known as Choppas, have returned to the island, offering players a swift way to bypass ground routes. But be warned: these high-flying machines are unarmed, making you an easy target as you soar across the map.
During Snoop Dogg’s week at the launch of Fortnite Remix, a single helicopter – known in-game as a Choppa – would spawn. But as of the new hotfix for Week 2, helicopters are officially back.

In Fortnite Remix’s Week 3 update, helicopters, known as Choppas, have made a significant return to the map, with a total of seven to nine helicopters scattered across various locations. These helicopters are primarily found on helipads marked with large “H” symbols, mostly concentrated in the east and south parts of the island. Key spots include The Doggpound near Snoop Dogg’s area, Spaghetti Grotto at Eminem’s location, The Rig, Weather Station east of Misty Meadows, Retail Row, Lazy Lake Island, Pleasant Park, FN Radio, and The Yacht. Although unarmed, Choppas offer fast aerial transportation and strategic advantages for squads, allowing players to quickly traverse the map and engage enemies from above. Players should be quick to secure these vehicles, as they are limited in number and highly contested during matches.
With the new Eminem Remix, there were seven Choppas on the Fortnite Chapter 2 Remix map. And now, with Ice Spice’s arrival, there are eight:

The helicopters don’t have any weaponry, but they’re fast and can move you across the map without worrying about silly things like roads. The Choppas are spread around the east and south sides of the map and there don’t appear to be any at all in the northwest. You’ll find them at POIs including one each at Snoop’s The Doggpound, Eminem’s Spaghetti Grotto, and Ice Spice’s Ice Isle.

However, keep in mind Choppas have 1,500 durability and no built-in weapons, making them vulnerable to enemy fire.
