Goddess Statue Locations Zelda Tears of the Kingdom Find All 16 Statues

Guides

Hidden among temples, ruins, and quiet villages, Goddess Statues hold the power to shape your adventure in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Each one offers the chance to trade Light of Blessings for greater health or stamina-but tracking them all down is no simple task.

On the Great Sky Island – Tears of the Kingdom‘s introductory area – you’re introduced to your first Goddess Statue, but there are a ton more around the map. So far, we’ve found 12.

How to use Lights of Blessing in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

Complete shrines to collect Lights of Blessing, with each one granting a single crystal upon success. Gather four and approach a Goddess Statue, then pray to trade them for either a Heart Container that adds one heart to Link’s health or a Stamina Vessel that expands the stamina wheel by one-fifth. Repeat the process at any such statue across Hyrule after solving shrine puzzles.

Lights of Blessing can be exchanged for heart containers and stamina vessels at the Goddess Statues scattered around the map. Interact with a Goddess Statue to exchange four Lights of Blessing for a heart container (which increases your total health by one heart) or a stamina vessel (which increases your stamina by a fifth of a wheel). (Not sure which to upgrade first? We have a guide for that, too.)

Goddess Statue locations

Goddess Statues are scattered across Hyrule, usually in towns, shrines, and hidden ruins where travelers can pray to exchange Light of Blessing orbs for additional hearts or stamina. The most accessible statues are in the Temple of Time on the Great Sky Island, the Emergency Shelter in Lookout Landing, and regional settlements such as Kakariko Village and Hateno Village. Some ancient or secret statues also appear deep underground or in forgotten places, offering unique dialogue and special quests for those who find them.

There are at least a dozen Goddess Statues in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. They’re typically located in villages on the surface, but they can also be found on sky islands. Use the map below to see where you can find all of the Goddess Statues on the surface.

Goddess Statues can be found in the following locations:

  • The Temple of Time – Great Sky Island
  • Dragonhead Island – Thunderhead Isles
  • Emergency Shelter – Lookout Landing
  • Rito Village – Tabantha Frontier
  • Zora’s Domain – Lanayru Region
  • Goron City – Eldin Region
  • Gerudo Town – Gerudo Desert
  • Lurelin Village – Faron Region
  • East Akkala Stable Well – Akkala Highlands
  • Tarrey Town – Akkala Region
  • Link’s home in Tarrey Town – Akkala Region
  • Hateno Village – Hateno Region
  • Kakariko Village – Dueling Peaks Region
  • Korok Forest – Woodland Region
  • Temple of Time Ruins – Hyrule Field
  • Forgotten Temple – Tabantha Frontier
  • Spring of Power – Deep Akkala
  • Spring of Wisdom – Mount Lanayru
  • Spring of Courage – Faron Grasslands

Note that the last five that we list are very large Goddess Statues that require side quests to actually use. Interacting with the statues in question will kick off the quests. The quests involved with the springs requires tracking down the dragons in the sky and bringing claws to their respective springs.

How to increase health or stamina without Goddess Statues

Players can expand health or stamina through other means like collecting Light of Blessing from shrines, which trade four for a Heart Container or Stamina Vessel at Goddess Statues. Bond flowers with fairies scattered across Hyrule to gain temporary hearts. Cook dishes using ingredients such as hearty radishes or endurance mushrooms for permanent boosts after eating. Defeat specific bosses like Yiga Clan members for rewards that add hearts. Explore caves and wells for Bubbulfrogs, trading their gems with Koltin for items that sometimes yield health increases.

Of course, while Lights of Blessing and Goddess Statues boost your health and stamina permanently, there are other ways to increase your health or stamina. After you complete major objectives like a temple or certain side adventures, you’ll receive a heart container, which will increase your health pool by one whole heart. Some of the side adventures also give you the option to choose between heart container or stamina vessel.

How to complete Goddess Statue quests at each location

Here’s how the main Goddess Statue questline works at each spring and how to finish the whole chain, including the Mother Goddess Statue.

Overview of the quest chain

  • Praying at any of the three spring statues (Wisdom, Courage, Power) starts that statue’s side quest.

  • Each spring quest asks you to bring a specific dragon claw to restore power to the Mother Goddess Statue in the Forgotten Temple.

  • Complete all three spring quests, then return to the Mother Goddess Statue for the final reward (White Sword of the Sky).

Goddess Statue of Wisdom (Naydra)

  • Location: Spring of Wisdom, just below the peak of Mount Lanayru, near Mount Lanayru Skyview Tower.โ€‹

  • Start: Pray at the statue in the water to begin “Goddess Statue of Wisdom.”โ€‹

  • Objective:

    • Find Naydra, the ice dragon, emerging from Naydra Snowfield Chasm on Mount Lanayru’s side around midday.โ€‹

    • Glide close and shoot its claw with an arrow; follow the glowing item that falls and pick up Naydra’s Claw.โ€‹โ€‹

    • Return to the Spring of Wisdom and offer the claw at the statue to complete the quest.โ€‹โ€‹

Goddess Statue of Power (Dinraal)

  • Location: Spring of Power in northeastern Hyrule (Akkala region area).

  • Start: Pray at the statue there to start “Goddess Statue of Power.”โ€‹โ€‹

  • Objective:

    • Track Dinraal, the fire dragon, which travels in and out of chasms in the northeast and around Death Mountain/Akkala skies.

    • Glide or use a Zonai device to get close and shoot Dinraal’s claw; collect the dropped Dinraal’s Claw (it may fall into a chasm-follow it down if needed).โ€‹

    • Offer the claw to the Spring of Power statue to finish the quest and receive a rupee reward plus quest progress.โ€‹

Goddess Statue of Courage (Farosh)

  • Location: Spring of Courage in the Faron region, in the Zonai ruins south of Central Hyrule.

  • Start: Pray at the statue to begin “Goddess Statue of Courage.”

  • Objective:

    • Hunt Farosh, the lightning dragon, which emerges from and dives into chasms around the southern Gerudo/Hylia regions (for example near Hills of Baumer Chasm and the desert entrance chasm).โ€‹

    • Shoot Farosh’s claw while airborne; follow and pick up Farosh’s Claw when it lands (on the surface or at the bottom of a chasm).

    • Return to the Spring of Courage and offer the claw to complete this statue’s quest.โ€‹โ€‹

Mother Goddess Statue (Forgotten Temple)

  • Unlock: After you finish all three spring quests, praying at the last spring’s statue directs you to the Mother Goddess Statue.

  • Location: Deep inside the Forgotten Temple, in the north of Hyrule just below Snowfield Stable; the Mother Goddess Statue is at the very back of the temple past the shrine.

  • Steps:

    • Visit the toppled Mother Goddess Statue during the spring quests to report its condition, then restore its power by completing all three dragon-claw offerings.

    • Once all three are done, return, pray at the now-restored Mother Goddess Statue, and receive the White Sword of the Sky (+24 attack) as your final reward.

If you tell me which spring you’ve already visited (or which dragons you’ve met), I can give you a simple, step-by-step route from your current region to finish the remaining statue quests.

Where is the Forgotten Temple exactly

The Forgotten Temple is in the far northern part of the Tanagar Canyon, in the Tabantha Frontier region of northern Hyrule.

Exact Coordinates and Landmarks

It’s located at approximately 0572, 3753, 0007 in-game coordinates, deep inside the canyon between the South Tabantha Snowfield and Rowan Plain.
From Snowfield Stable (northeast of the temple), head southwest down into the canyon or paraglide from the ridges.
The entrance is on the south side of the large ruined stone structure at the canyon’s northern end; look for Cado’s donkey outside during the Impa questline.

How to Reach It Easily

  • Fast-travel to Pikida Stonegrove Skyview Tower (if unlocked) and glide northwest into the canyon.โ€‹

  • Or start from New Serenne Stable, go northeast along the road, then drop into the canyon toward the temple’s obvious massive facade.
Inside, past the monster camps and Mayausiy Shrine, you’ll find the toppled Mother Goddess Statue at the back.
