‘Well, Well, Well’ side quest starting location

The Well, Well, Well side quest begins in the magical corridors of Hogwarts, where the sense of mystery hints at a hidden path. A curious entryway tucked behind a suit of armor invites you to explore, offering a subtle nudge toward the adventures that lie beyond.

The quest giver for the “Well, Well, Well” side quest can be found to the southeast of Aranshire, which is in the South Hogwarts Region. Wait for the well to finish their monologue to start the quest and receive a map showing you where the treasure is located.

‘Well, Well, Well’ treasure location

The treasure from the “Well, Well, Well” quest lies hidden beneath a large tree southeast of Aranshire, marked by its curved roots and a patch of diggable ground nearby. Players can reach it by using a broom or by following the map drawn from the talking well. Once at the location, use the Revelio spell to spot the treasure spot, then cast Accio to reveal the buried chest containing the reward.

  2. Travel to the marked location in the image above. The treasure’s location can be found to the southwest of Irondale, which is in the Feldcroft Region.
  3. Head to the side with the smaller ruined structure with the tree in the center.

On numerous occasions in recent years, billionaire and Harry Potter creator J.K. Rowling has taken public stances against inclusive transgender laws and trans rights, and has written fiction that has been condemned by LGBTQ organizations for its use of harmful anti-trans tropes. Hate crimes, as well as legislation that denies the rights of trans people, have become more prevalent in the U.K. since 2019, and, more recently, in the United States as well.

According to an FAQ from Hogwarts Legacy publisher Warner Bros. Interactive – the parent company of Avalanche Software, the game’s developer – Rowling is “not directly involved” with the creation of Hogwarts Legacy. Regardless, the sales and widespread attention generated by a AAA video game will benefit Rowling, and that has led some fans to decide not to buy the game. Cursed Tomb Treasure walkthrough Hogwarts Legacy

Cursed Tomb Treasure is a mid-game side quest in Hogwarts Legacy’s Manor Cape region, requiring Alohomora Level 3 (from 22 Demiguise Statues) and completion of “The Helm of Urtkot” main quest.

Quest Requirements

Access demands Level 3 lockpicking for a basement door in an abandoned manor near West Manor Cape Floo Flame; expect combat against Inferi and bosses like the Lord of the Manor. Recommended player level is 23-24 with fire spells (Incendio/Confringo) for undead foes.

Starting the Quest

Fast travel to West Manor Cape or Bainburgh Floo Flame, then head northeast to Manor Glen’s ruined manor. Enter the basement via back stairs or a hilltop brazier statue (light with Incendio); unlock the Level 3 door, fight Inferi waves, defeat minibosses, and loot the chest for the Mysterious Map Fragment.

Map Solution: Tomb of Treachery

The map directs to Tomb of Treachery (southeast Manor Cape); enter and solve a moth door puzzle: use Lumos/Incendio to guide three moths (two visible, one behind web) to the golden frame. Proceed past spiders/Inferi to the final room’s floor tile puzzle-stand facing away from entrance and cast Flipendo on the top-middle, bottom-left, and bottom-right tiles to match the map pattern.

Rewards

Opening the puzzle chest grants Treasure-Seeker’s Short Sleeves cosmetic appearance, 180 XP, and gold; quest completes automatically.
