What strategies help me earn the most XP and Stardust during Party Up

Strategies to Maximize XP and Stardust During Party Up

Maximize XP:

  • Raid in Parties: Participate in as many raids as possible with a full party (ideally four trainers) to benefit from the double XP bonus for raid wins during the event.

  • Use Lucky Eggs: Activate Lucky Eggs before completing high-XP activities like raids, evolving Pokémon, and finishing Timed Research tasks to double your XP gains.

  • Mass Evolutions: Prepare low-cost evolutions (like Pidgey, Weedle, Wurmple) and evolve them in bulk while a Lucky Egg is active, especially if you can combine this with a Spotlight Hour or event bonus for even more XP.

  • Complete Party Challenges: These often grant significant XP, especially when done in a group, so focus on finishing all available challenges during the event window.

Maximize Stardust:

  • Catch Everything: Catch as many Pokémon as possible, especially during any catch Stardust bonuses. Use fast-catching techniques to increase your catch rate.

  • Use Star Pieces: Activate Star Pieces during peak play times (raids, mass catching, egg hatching) to boost Stardust gains by 50% for 30 minutes.

  • Hatch Eggs: Walk and hatch as many eggs as you can while a Star Piece is active for large Stardust payouts.

  • Participate in PvP and Raids: Engage in GO Battle League and raids, as both can yield substantial Stardust-especially if you win battles in higher leagues or participate in event raids.

  • Open Gifts: Open your daily cap of 30 gifts for up to 9,000 Stardust per day, which adds up over the event.

  • Feed Berries at Gyms: If you have spare berries, feed them to Pokémon in gyms for small but cumulative Stardust gains.

Event-Specific Tips:

  • Always play in a party to unlock Party Play bonuses and complete Party Challenges, which multiply your total rewards.

  • Stack items: Use both Lucky Eggs and Star Pieces simultaneously during high-activity periods for compounded rewards.

  • Plan your playtime around event windows with double XP or Stardust for maximum efficiency.

By combining these strategies, you’ll maximize both XP and Stardust during the Party Up event.
