Ukoojisi Shrine location
Ukoojisi Shrine is located in the East Gerudo Sky Archipelago, directly above the Gerudo Desert. You can reach it by launching from the Gerudo Canyon Skyview Tower and gliding northeast toward the floating islands in the area. The shrine sits on a small platform surrounded by sky islands, often hidden by clouds, so using the paraglider and Zonai devices to cover distance safely is recommended. Its coordinates are roughly (-3566, -1770, 1136).
Ukoojisi Shrine is found within the West Necluda Sky Archipelago region at the coordinates (1470, -2170, 0585). It’s a Rauru’s Blessing shrine, which means the puzzle is outside of the shrine – you’ll need to move a crystal to open the shrine itself.
Ukoojisi Shrine walkthrough
Inside the Ukoojisi Shrine, you’ll face a puzzle focused on balancing and motion. Use the available platforms and the Ultrahand ability to adjust angles and weights so that the ball reaches its goal. Place objects carefully to guide the ball along the correct path, and use momentum rather than brute force to move it forward. Once the mechanism is complete and the ball lands in the target, the door to the final area will open, where you can claim the Light of Blessing from the shrine chest.
The Ukoojisi Shrine puzzle takes place over the sky islands in the West Necluda Sky Archipelago. The first step is to get there, launching yourself into the sky from Popla Hills Skyview Tower southwest of Kakariko Village.
1. Finding Ukoojisi Shrine begins “The West Necluda Sky Crystal” shrine quest where you’ll have to find the glowing green crystal nearby and return it to the shrine. You’ll start on island No. 1 (marked on the map above), where a Zonai glider and Zonai devices await.
2. The crystal is located on a two-tiered sky island – island No. 2, north of island No. 1 – at the coordinates (1699, -1841, 0651). You’ll need a sharp weapon (like an ax or sword) to cut through a series of wooden vines that block access to the West Necluda Sky Crystal. Fire works as well.
3. Pick up the crystal to activate the homing beam that points toward Ukoojisi Shrine. There’s a Zonai wing glider near the crystal, as well as Zonai fans, batteries, and a steering stick to build a powered aircraft to take you to the next sky island. Using Ultrahand, attach the Sky Crystal to your glider and take off.
4. Follow the homing beam southwest to sky island No. 3 where Ukoojisi Shrine is located, at the coordinates (1470, -2170, 0585). We’ve found that the best way to land your plane is to just. crash it into your destination.
How to complete The West Necluda Sky Crystal quest step by step
The West Necluda Sky Crystal is a shrine quest in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom that unlocks Ukoojisi Shrine. It requires retrieving a glowing green crystal from a nearby sky island and returning it to the shrine pedestal. Follow these steps for completion.
Access the Sky Islands
Launch from Sahasra Slope Skyview Tower (west of Kakariko Village, around 1673, -1895, 0650) and glide southeast toward the West Necluda Sky Archipelago above Dueling Peaks.
Head first to the westernmost island (crystal location, near 1690, -1065, 0651) instead of the shrine for efficiency.
Drop to the lower ledge on the east side, where vines block an alcove.
Retrieve the Crystal
Cut or burn the vines using a sharp weapon, fire fruit, or arrows to access the crystal inside.
Collect Zonai devices nearby: Wing glider, Fans (2+), Steering Stick, Batteries, and optionally Rockets.
Assemble a flying machine by attaching Fans and Batteries to the Wing, with the Steering Stick on top; secure the crystal centrally.
Transport to Shrine
Position the vehicle at the alcove edge, facing the shrine island (southeast, around 1470, -2170, 0585).
Activate Fans (or shoot a Rocket) to glide straight; adjust with the Steering Stick to land near the Ukoojisi Shrine pedestal.
Detach the crystal, place it on the pedestal to activate the shrine, and enter for a chest (e.g., Mighty Zonaite Shield) plus Light of Blessing.
What materials and Zonai parts are needed for the flying machine
Zonai Parts Overview
For the flying machine in the West Necluda Sky Crystal quest, gather 1 Wing glider, 2-3 Fans, 1 Steering Stick, and 1-2 Batteries from the crystal island alcove (coordinates around 1690, -1065, 0651).
These parts spawn reliably nearby, eliminating the need for extra materials beyond a weapon or fire source to cut vines.
Rockets serve as optional boosts but aren’t required for basic transport.
Assembly Steps
Attach Fans to the underside of the Wing for propulsion, securing them with Ultrahand to avoid detachment mid-flight.
Fuse or attach Batteries to extend runtime, then place the Steering Stick atop the Wing for directional control.
Position the glowing crystal in the center before launch to maintain balance during the glide to the shrine pedestal.
