The Sarcophagus in Avowed is located in a diamond-shaped chamber southwest of the Enclosed Grove Camp within the Garden area. To find it, start from the party camp, go through the large double doors into a room with a large pillar and a winding staircase, then proceed down to a shallow water pool where the sarcophagus is embedded in the wall. This sarcophagus contains a unique and powerful armor set called the Spiritmender Armor, making it a valuable find during your exploration of the Garden.
The Sarcophagus can be found in a diamond shaped room located southwest of the Enclosed Grove Camp. From the party camp, head through the large double doors to enter a room with a large pillar and a winding staircase. At the bottom of the stairs, next to a pool of shallow water, you’ll find a divot in the wall that contains the Sarcophagus.
Where to find the Sarcophagus Key in Avowed
The Sarcophagus Key in Avowed is found on a corpse along the path to the Strangled Adra in the Garden region. To reach it, progress through the main story until you arrive at an area with a circular pond surrounded by spider webs. From there, enter a small archway, dive into the water, and take the left fork. After climbing a rock ledge and burning away some brambles blocking the path, use frost magic to cross the water and continue until you find a skeleton on a ledge holding the key. This key unlocks a sarcophagus located in a diamond-shaped chamber near the Enclosed Grove Camp, containing the powerful Spiritmender medium armor.

To reach the key from the Sarcophagus’ room, continue along in the main story until you reach door blocked by Maegfolc and essence generators. Once you’re inside, enter the room on your right and take down the incoming skeletons and spiders. After they’ve been defeated, a door will open on the other side of the room revealing a pool of water.
Dive into the water to find two paths, but make sure to follow the path on the left. Surface onto the climbable terrain along the left wall to find an opening blocked by burnable vines across from you. Burn the vines and freeze the water below you to create a frozen pathway towards the opening.
