The Gift Enigma solution and treasure location

The Gift Enigma in Assassin’s Creed Mirage is found on a rooftop in the Yasiriyah district of the Abbasiya region, near the Four Markets Gate. To solve it, players must follow a river flowing west from the Pomegranate Gate in the Karkh region, leading to a wooden bridge north of the Oasis Viewpoint. The treasure is located on the southern bank of this bridge, hidden in the grass by a large rock formation facing the river. Solving The Gift Enigma rewards players with the Knight’s Talisman, a cosmetic item for Basim’s equipment.

The The Gift Enigma is located just inside the Four Markets Gate to the southwest of the Round City district. Solving it rewards you with the Knight’s Talisman.

The Gift Enigma location

The Gift Enigma in Assassin’s Creed Mirage is located in the Yasiriyah district of the Abbasiyah region, specifically on a rooftop southeast of the Four Markets Gate and just east of a trader and musician. Players can find it on a large pergola structure with an L shape, resting on a small side table. The enigma leads to a treasure hidden outside the city along a river west of the Four Markets Gate, near a wooden bridge guarded by a few soldiers. The reward for solving this enigma is the Knight’s Talisman, a decorative item for Basim.

This Enigma clue is (relatively) out in the open. You’re looking for a large pergola on the roof of a building that’s roughly halfway between the two nearby bridges.

If you should read this, know that I waited, in my hand a token of past glories, my pledge to set aside the trappings of war for children’s toys and laughter.
You never came.
I cast my gift Into the river, saw it borne towards the bridge where we first courted, near the gate famed for its markets.
May it sail on towards the setting sun, far beyond my view, bearing with it every hope I had of us – of me and you.

The Gift Enigma solution and treasure location

The gate mentioned in the clue is the Four Markets Gate to the west.

Head through and follow the road west – “towards the setting sun” – until you spot a bridge crossing the river to the south of the road. You’ll find the Knight’s Talisman on the southern bank just a little east of the bridge.

What secret treasure does The Gift Enigma hide in Assassin’s Creed Mirage

The secret treasure hidden by The Gift Enigma in Assassin’s Creed Mirage is the Knight’s Talisman, a decorative red and gold accessory that players can add to their outfits. To find it, players must solve the riddle by traveling from the enigma’s location in Abbasiyah near the Four Markets Gate, following the river west past the Pomegranate Gate, and searching the southern bank by a guarded wooden bridge north of the Oasis Viewpoint, where the talisman lies hidden in the grass.

What is the significance of the Knight’s Talisman in Assassin’s Creed Mirage

The Knight’s Talisman in Assassin’s Creed Mirage is a purely cosmetic item that dangles from the back of Basim, serving no practical gameplay purpose beyond enhancing his visual appearance. It is a collectible reward obtained by solving “The Gift” Enigma, symbolizing the colors of an Abbasid knight’s cavalry with its red and gold design. While it does not affect skills or mechanics, it allows players to customize Basim’s look and showcase their progress in the game.
