Fortnite Chapter 6 Star Wars Medallions and Mythic Weapons Locations

Guides

Unlock the power of the galaxy-discover how to claim exclusive Fortnite medallions in the Star Wars season by outmaneuvering legendary bosses and rival players for game-changing upgrades.

In this Fortnite guide, we’ll explain what the medallions do and where to find them in Fortnite Chapter 6 Star Wars season.

How Fortnite Chapter 6 Star Wars medallions work

In Fortnite Chapter 6 Star Wars season, medallions are powerful items dropped by specific bosses on the map and provide unique buffs to your character. Defeating a boss like Captain Phasma or Shogun X will grant you their respective medallion-Phasma’s Blaster Medallion improves blaster weapon performance by reducing heat and cooldown, while the Super Shield Medallion summons a Shield Bubble Jr. whenever you use healing items. These medallions are stored in a dedicated slot, do not take up regular inventory space, and make your location visible to opponents, so you’ll need to be strategic about when and how you use them.

Medallions are boss drops that buff you in different ways. The medallions in Fortnite Chapter 6 Star Wars season are:

  • Phasma’s Blaster Medallion, dropped by Captain Phasma, improves blaster weapons by reducing heat generation and giving them faster cooldowns.
  • Super Shield Medallion, dropped by Shogun X, places a Shield Bubble Jr. when you use healing items like Med Kits or Shield Potions

Medallions do not take up inventory space, as they have their own respective slot in your bag (like gold does).

To get the medallion, you’ll need to eliminate the boss NPC holding it. As you get closer to them, a large health bar will appear at the top of your screen for the respective boss.

Unlike other NPCs who are pretty easy to drop on and eliminate immediately, these NPCs all have respawning lackies that’ll fire at you once they see you. That said, it may be easier to loot up around the named locations and then head in to nab a medallion.

Luckily, the NPCs shoot like Star Wars Storm Troopers (meaning that they aim very poorly), so you shouldn’t have to worry too much about the lackeys. Focus on the boss with a decent gun and you should be able to get a medallion. Note that the boss will replenish its shield frequently, making it an annoying target.

If you see an orange or gold circle on the map, this means a player in that vicinity has a medallion, too. You can eliminate that player to take their medallion.

Medallion locations in Fortnite Chapter 6 Star Wars season

To secure medallions in Fortnite Chapter 6 Star Wars season, you’ll need to defeat specific boss NPCs found at key locations across the map. Captain Phasma, located at the First Order Base in the top-right, drops the Phasma Blaster Medallion, which enhances blaster weapon performance. Shogun X, appearing on a floating island after the fourth storm circle, drops the Super Shield Medallion, providing a protective shield bubble whenever you use healing items. Each medallion is extremely exclusive, with only one available per match, so be quick and strategic when pursuing these powerful buffs.

You can see the medallions (or the bosses carrying the medallions) on the map. They are at the following locations:

  • Captain Phasma is hanging out on the First Order Base in the northeast of the map.
  • Shogun X will show up on a floating island (Shogun’s Arena), during the fourth storm circle. The location of the floating island is random, but it’ll be within the circle.

There isn’t much to Captain Phasma. She’s just chillin’ in the base and there isn’t anything specific you have to do to find her or beat her, outside of taking out a few Stormtroopers who may be in the way. (Unlike last season’s Fletcher Kane, who needed thermite to blow up vaults and whatnot. Yeesh.)

After beating her, you’ll get Captain Phasma’s F-11D Blaster and Phasma’s Blaster Medallion.

Where are the hidden medallion locations scattered across Fortnite season 3

In Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3 (the Star Wars-themed season), medallions are primarily found by defeating powerful bosses at key locations across the map. Here are the main hidden medallion locations you should look out for:

  • First Order Base (Northeast Corner of the Map):

    • This heavily guarded POI features Captain Phasma as the main boss.

    • Defeat Captain Phasma to obtain her medallion, which helps blasters cool down faster, as well as her Mythic F-11D Blaster.

    • The base is fortified and includes a TIE fighter hangar, making it a high-risk but high-reward drop.

There are currently no other confirmed named bosses or medallion locations specifically listed for Chapter 6 Season 3 outside of Captain Phasma at the First Order Base. However, the map features other new and loot-rich spots like Outpost Enclave, Secret Cave near Brutal Boxcars, and Seaport City, but these do not currently offer medallions-just valuable loot and vehicles.

To summarize: the main hidden medallion location for this season is at the First Order Base in the northeast, where you can battle Captain Phasma for her unique rewards. Keep an eye on official updates, as Epic Games sometimes introduces new bosses and medallions with weekly content.
