Hidden high among Hyrule’s storm-torn skies, the Ganos Shrine challenges players with currents, gliders, and clever manipulation of wind. Here’s where to find it-and how to master every puzzle inside.
When you’re done, our shrine locations page and interactive Hyrule map can direct you toward something else to do.
Ganos Shrine location
Ganos Shrine is located in the Tabantha Sky Archipelago, high above Hyrule’s northwest region. To reach it, travel to the nearby Rospro Pass Skyview Tower and launch into the air, then glide northeast toward the floating islands. Use Zonai devices like the Wing or fans to cross larger gaps between the platforms. The shrine sits on one of the upper islands, easily spotted by its green glow once you get close.
The Ganos Shrine is found within the Tabantha Sky Archipelago region. We got there by gliding from Mayasiar Shrine. The exact coordinates are (-3366, 0468, 1695).
Ganos Shrine and ‘The Tabantha Sky Crystal’ walkthrough
Ganos Shrine is found on a floating island in the Tabantha Sky Archipelago, and solving its puzzle centers on retrieving the Tabantha Sky Crystal. To access the shrine, trace the green beam from its entrance to a nearby island and locate the crystal encased in ice. Melt the ice with a fire-based weapon or fruit, then use Zonai devices or gliders to carry the crystal back across the gap to the shrine. Once the crystal is placed in the shrine pedestal, the barrier disappears, granting entry to claim the Light of Blessing.
This quest will have you fight a boss, then build a hovercraft to retrieve a stone and bring it to the shrine on the high-up island. It’s a bit tough, but you’ll be rewarded with several Zonai devices, a diamond, and a Light of Blessing.
1. Start by activating the shrine quest at the location shown above. The quest will formally start and it will tell you to go get a crystal connected to the beam and bring it back to the shrine.

2. Follow the path of light and jump down to a lower battlefield. A fight with a Flux Construct 3 will start.
3. You will quickly notice that the stone you need to complete the shrine quest is connected to the boss. You might be able to just grab the crystal and run, but we didn’t try that.

4. Defeat the Flux Construct 3. It’s a bit similar to the fight against the Flux Construct 1, but if you’re looking for a step-by-step breakdown, we cover it in our guide to Kumamayn Shrine.
5. Defeating the Flux Construct 3 will reward you with several Zonai devices as well as leave behind some building materials. Collect everything you can and then head to the outcropping of the island southwest of the battlefield.
6. There are construction materials there. There are metal slabs, a Zonai steering stick, batteries, and fans. Use Ultrahand to build a pilotable hover machine, as shown below.

7. The machine we built has fans on each of the four sides of a metal slab, and then we put a battery in each corner.
8. Fly your snazzy new vehicle back to the battlefield where the crystal is.

9. Once there, we added a few components to the vehicle (that the Flux Construct 3 left after the fight) to accommodate for the extra weight of the rock.
10. We added fans to two of the corners, on opposite sides to keep it balanced.
11. Then we moved two of the batteries so that they were on the two newly added fans, to further balance things.

12. Afterwards go grab the glowing green-blue rock needed to complete the shrine and fuse it to your hovercraft with Ultrahand. You can view the full build in action below.

13. Turn on the hovercraft and pilot it to where you started the shrine.
14. Once on the island, you can safely take the rock to where you started the quest and complete the quest. Ganos Shrine will now appear.
Ganos Shrine chest
The chest inside Ganos Shrine is located on a raised platform overlooking the water-filled section of the puzzle chamber. Use the floating stone slabs to build a stable bridge or platform, then glide across to reach it safely. Inside, you’ll find a valuable reward that makes solving the shrine’s puzzles worthwhile before claiming the Light of Blessing at the end.
How to start The Tabantha Sky Crystal shrine quest
To start “The Tabantha Sky Crystal” shrine quest in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, travel to the Tabantha Sky Archipelago in the Tabantha Frontier region.
Location Details
The quest begins at the empty Ganos Shrine frame, located at approximately (-3370, 0467, 1695). Reach this sky island by launching from Gerudo Highlands Skyview Tower and gliding north through the North Gerudo Sky Archipelago (low-gravity zone), using Zonai Rockets on shields for extra height, or by island-hopping from nearby spots like Starview Island.
Starting the Quest
Interact with the Zonai terminal at the shrine frame to activate it; a beam of light will appear, pointing downward to a green crystal held by a Flux Construct 3 boss on a lower platform. This interaction logs the quest, instructing you to retrieve and return the crystal to unlock Ganos Shrine.
How to reach Tabantha Sky Archipelago from Gerudo Highlands Skyview Tower
To reach the Tabantha Sky Archipelago from Gerudo Highlands Skyview Tower in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, launch upward from the tower and glide north through the low-gravity North Gerudo Sky Archipelago.
Step-by-Step Route
Use the Skyview Tower at coordinates around (-4664, -2507, 0496) to catapult high into the sky, then head north toward the large black sphere marking the North Gerudo Sky Archipelago, where reduced gravity extends your glide distance. Collect Zonai Rockets from nearby Like Soldiers on floating platforms, attach one or two to your shield (facing upward), and activate by surfing while holding the guard button to gain extra altitude for crossing gaps.
Final Approach
Island-hop across the North Gerudo islands, using additional rockets or stamina boosts if needed, until you enter the Tabantha Sky Archipelago’s low-gravity zone; aim for sky islands near (-3370, 0467, 1695) to spot the Ganos Shrine frame. Tulin’s Gust ability helps maximize distance if recruited beforehand.
