Zanmik Shrine Walkthrough in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom Location and Guide

Guides

Hidden deep in Hyrule’s wilds, Zanmik Shrine challenges players with clever machinery and precise timing. This guide reveals its exact coordinates and walks you through each mechanism, from triggering shifting platforms to solving the final puzzle that guards its secret reward.

Zanmik Shrine location

The Zanmik Shrine sits on the western edge of the Gerudo Highlands in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, at coordinates (-3528, -1992, 0515). Players reach it by heading southwest from the Gerudo Highland Skyview Tower or paragliding down from the main Gerudo Highlands area. Its entrance appears as a standard shrine door carved into a rocky outcrop overlooking the desert expanse below. Activating the shrine requires no special items or puzzles-just approach and interact with the glowing green symbol. From there, the interior challenges focus on precise platforming and object manipulation using Ultrahand and Recall.

Zanmik Shrine is in the Hateno Village region at the Southern Oasis to the south of Gerudo Town. The exact coordinates are (3469, -2180, 0148).

Zanmik Shrine walkthrough

Zanmik Shrine features a gravity-based puzzle where you must use Recall and Ultrahand to manipulate moving platforms and reach higher areas. Begin by reversing the motion of a sliding block to create a temporary bridge, then attach multiple blocks together to extend your path across gaps. Careful timing is needed to move safely between shifting sections. The final section involves stacking objects strategically to reach the exit, where the shrine’s chest and Light of Blessing await.

Zanmik Shrine and its puzzles will let you get creative with Ultrahand.

1. As you enter Zanmik Shrine, drop off the ledge and glide down to the bottom of the shrine.

2. Grab one of the nearby platforms with Ultrahand and place a platform between the two electrical nodes. When they connect, the wheel will start turning.

3. Head around the fence and approach the ball pit. Activate Ultrahand and start digging through the balls to find a chest with a strong Zonaite longsword inside.

4. Your goal with the spinning wheel is to transfer a ball from the pit up to the bowl near the entrance to the shrine. There are several platforms around that you could probably use to build an elaborate scoop, but there’s a much easier way.
