Hidden along Herta Space Station’s metallic corridors lie dozens of treasure chests waiting to be found. This guide pinpoints every location and map route so you can claim each reward before moving deeper into Honkai: Star Rail’s first research hub.
Most maps have loot hidden around and this loot expands beyond just treasure chests. When you open the map, you’ll notice a chest icon in the top left corner with numbers next to it. This indicates how many of the different types of loot you’ve found. However, this counter only lists “basic treasure” that isn’t locked behind puzzles or formidable foes (the powerful monsters that guard chests) and Warp Trotters. The chests that are rewards for more in-depth content are called Bountiful Treasure or Precious Treasure.
Each of these reward the premium currency, Stellar Jade, as well as other materials and EXP, so you’ll want to make sure to fully explore the maps.

How Herta Space Station treasure chests work
Treasure chests in Herta Space Station respawn after leaving and re-entering the area or switching servers. Players find them in fixed spots across rooms and corridors, with some locked behind puzzles or combat challenges. Blue chests yield credits and fuel, while others drop rare materials or stamps. Maps mark all 100+ locations, so check each subdomain like the Storage Zone or Reception Zone multiple times for full collection.
You’ll also find Hertareum while finding this loot, which you can trade in to the shop owner in the Master Control Zone for prizes. As you spend more Hertareum, you’ll earn rewards like Stellar Jade, Star Rail Passes, and even materials to level up the Trailblazer’s Eidolon.
There is no loot in the Master Control Zone (where you first meet Asta), so don’t worry about it.
Below, we map out where to find the chests, challenges, puzzles, and Warp Trotters in Herta Space Station.
Base Zone treasure chest locations
The Base Zone holds several treasure chests scattered across its research areas and corridors. Many can be found near side rooms, control panels, and teleport points, while others hide behind destructible objects or in isolated corners. Pay attention to the mini-map indicators and accessible terminals, as they often lead to hidden or semi-enclosed spots where a chest awaits. Collecting all chests here grants valuable materials and aids in achieving full exploration progress for the zone.

The right path opens up after starting a side quest given by Arlan. The small room attached to the right hall needs to be opened with key cards found around the space station. The Bountiful Treasure in the small room does not count towards your chest total in the map UI.
Storage Zone treasure chest locations
The Storage Zone holds several treasure chests spread across its four areas, including both basic and valuable types. Players can find them near terminals, behind security doors, and in side rooms connected by elevators or narrow corridors. Some chests are guarded by enemies or hidden behind environmental puzzles, so exploring each floor carefully pays off. Checking the minimap and interactive objects usually helps reveal missed spots.
Storage Zone F2

The upper floor has several tile puzzles to get chests, as well as many chests in plain sight.
Storage Zone F1

The leftmost chest is a Bountiful Treasure that requires you to solve a short puzzle with toggling bridges.
Supply Zone treasure chest locations
Supply Zones hold several treasure chests across the Herta Space Station. From the central hub near the reception counter, head left into the first room to grab one on the platform above the blue crates. Climb the nearby stairs for another behind the control panels. In the second room past the laser barriers, check the upper ledge opposite the security terminal for a third chest. The final one sits in the corner by the exit door, guarded by a patrolling automaton-time your approach carefully.
Supply Zone F2

The chest marked near the puzzle requires you to do a quest given by Asta called “Sensitive Beings.” This quest will give you a new Bountiful Treasure every day for three days.
The Bountiful Treasure in the top left is from a quest that you’ll receive from Arlan as you progress in the game.
Supply Zone F1
The lower zone of the Supply Zone is just bottom platforms below the toggling bridges. There’s Bountiful Treasure down there, but you need to get a quest called “Out of Reach” from an old man who’s stuck down there. We got this quest when we entered the area at trailblaze level 22.
Seclusion Zone treasure chest locations
The Seclusion Zone contains several treasure chests scattered across its Research and Storage Areas. Players can find Basic, Bountiful, and Precious chests near security terminals, side rooms, and maintenance passages. Some are hidden behind destructible objects or guarded by enemies, so defeating them may reveal extra rewards. Exploring every corner carefully ensures no chest is missed, as each one contributes to the area’s total completion progress.
This area was added in the version 1.6 update. You’ll need to do the Trailblaze Continuance quest “The Blue – Crown of the Mundane and Divine” to get to it. Note that there are a few locked doors in this area, but they will open up by the time you finish the quest.

How to defeat Warp Trotters in Herta Space Station
Warp Trotters in Honkai: Star Rail’s Herta Space Station are elusive enemies that drop 60 Stellar Jades when defeated, often found in areas like the Supply Zone.โโ
Approach Tactics
Sneak up quickly from the correct angle, as they flee when alerted; use ranged attacks, stealth characters like Seele, or slows from Welt to catch them easily.
Battle Strategy
Warp Trotters are weak to Physical, Quantum, and Imaginary damage-focus these to break their Toughness bar fast during their initial “scared” state (shivering for a few turns).
-
Apply Freeze or Imprison to delay their escape.
-
Ignore summoned enemies initially; defeat the Trotter first to prevent its “run” state (hands on head, unbreakable Toughness) by turn 4.โ
-
If it escapes, fast-travel away and return to respawn it (except post-defeat ones).โ
Herta Station Spots
Look in Supply Zone near Railway Platform or Spare Parts Warehouse; check the map’s chest counter for spawn hints, and clear quests blocking areas.โโ
Exact locations of Warp Trotters in Herta Space Station Supply Zone
Warp Trotters in Herta Space Station’s Supply Zone drop valuable Stellar Jades and appear as special encounters tied to treasure hunting.
Supply Zone Location
The main Warp Trotter here is on the second floor (F2), in a small antechamber or room southeast of the Spare Parts Warehouse space anchor-often accessible during or after the “Sensitive Beings” side mission where you solve puzzles and access a terminal room.
-
Fast-travel to Spare Parts Warehouse, head southeast into one of the two rooms (a nook or corner); it’s hiding near enemies or puzzle areas.
-
This spot aligns with chest routes: near basic treasures behind doors or guarded by foes.โ
Tips for Access
Complete related Trailblaze or Adventure Missions (like talking to Asta or Crackup Conch) to unlock the area, as story barriers block it initially.โ
-
Check your in-game map’s chest counter for hints; Trotters count toward totals and only spawn post-story progress in the zone.โ
-
No respawn after defeat, but others exist in Base Zone (northwest Reception Corridor) and Storage Zone F1 (south of Control Center).
