To find the braziers in Blue Prince, head out from the Entrance Hall onto the Grounds. Move to the left of the Fountain and descend the stairs. At the base of the steps, you’ll discover a platform with all four blue braziers lined up. Each brazier is connected to a specific gas line, and lighting all four will permanently unlock a new area below the mansion.
From the Entrance Hall, head outside to the Grounds. Go to the left of the Fountain and down the stairs. You’ll find all four braziers at the bottom of the steps.
All brazier rooms in Blue Prince

The Hovel and Schoolhouse may not always be available to access right away, as they appear as draftable rooms after unlocking the West Gate, but progress is permanent and the braziers stay lit for future runs.
Lighting the braziers is as simple as turning a gasline valve. That will send gas to the brazier and it will light automatically. The trick to the puzzle is just finding the valves.

- The Schoolhouse
How to light the Orchard brazier in Blue Prince
To light the Orchard brazier in Blue Prince, first unlock the Orchard gate by obtaining the code 1128 from the Dark Room using a magnifying glass to inspect the photo of apple trees near the corner. Once inside, look for a small shack; to its left, you’ll find the gas valve controlling the brazier. Interact with the valve to ignite the blue flame, contributing to the puzzle that unlocks a permanent pathway to the Basement.
Once you get the code from the Darkroom and unlock the Orchard gate, the gasline valve is on your left as you walk in.
How to light the Gemstone Cavern brazier in Blue Prince
To light the Gemstone Cavern brazier in Blue Prince, you first need to solve the puzzle in the Utility Closet to unlock access to the Gemstone Cavern. Once inside, the gasline valve controlling the brazier is positioned just to your right. Activating this valve will automatically light the corresponding blue brazier outside, helping you progress toward unlocking the permanent pathway to the Basement.
Once you have access to the Gemstone Cavern via the Utility Closet, you’ll find the gasline valve just inside and to the right.
How to light the Outer Room braziers in Blue Prince
To light the Outer Room braziers in Blue Prince, you’ll need to unlock access to the Outer Rooms by solving the West Gate puzzle. Once this is done, you can draft specific rooms-notably the Hovel and the Schoolhouse-each time you play, as the available Outer Rooms rotate per run. Inside the Hovel, find the gas valve next to the stove, and in the Schoolhouse, look for the valve at the back of the heater; interact with either to light the corresponding brazier automatically, and once lit, it remains active for all future runs.
The remaining two gasline valves are in special rooms that can only be built outside. And to do that, you’ll need to go through the Garage and open the West Gate (and West Path).
Now you just have to draft rooms at that Outer Room door. The rooms you’re looking for are the Hovel and the Schoolhouse. You’ll only be able to draft one Outer Room per day, so it might take several tries to get both of them.
In Mr. Revane’s Hovel, the gasline valve is to the right of the fireplace (stove?). In the Schoolhouse, it’s on the back side of the heater in the middle of the room.
